The property was great and it was near the venue.

I did not appreciate the owners. 1) we called because we were showing up late and wanted to give them the heads up. Fred was rude in the phone. 2) My friends and I were getting ready with doors opened. He did not announce that he was in the house and was walking around most of us were not fully dressed and we knew he saw us. When asked to announce themselves they state Fred doesn’t go upstairs. Yes he does we heard him. 3) The keys given to us were specifically for our rooms. There was no key for the front door. Both nights we came back to the bnb the front door was locked. This made all of us girls very uncomfortable. We weren’t able to get back I to the place that we paid for without calling the owner to unlock the door for us in our festival looks. 4) They went through our locked rooms.

We liked how the location of the property was close to our event that we were traveling to and they served a delicious breakfast. The place was overall very clean.

We did not like how the owners of the property would walk in and out unannounced on multiple occasions during our stay there. We also did not appreciate that when we had put the “do not disturb” sign on the door (which was given to us by the property) the owners had gone through our room while we were away anyway, which defeated the purpose of the sign whether we decided to lock the door or not to our room. There was nearly no water pressure in the showers and it was extremely cold at night almost as though the heat was turned off. Another poor quality was that we were “not allowed lock the front door” to our B&B at all during our stay. The owners of the property said that they do not have a key and reminded us of this multiple times which made all who stayed feel not secure or safe at this property. Overall there was a huge lack of privacy and professionalism while staying at this location.

The room was beautiful, and everything was very clean. Breakfast both days was delicious!

Very nice and clean. Owner was very attentive and helpful. Property was well maintained.

Rooms were all upstairs, making it difficult to get luggage in and out.

Great location for fishing and Fred was a great accommodating host.

Thin walls next to young girls who roomed next door.

The bnb well exceeded any expectations that we had and we would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Alaska! Fred and Terri were amazing and friendly hosts and we couldn't speak highly enough about their hospitality. They gave us great local tips and made some wonderful suggestions on where to fish. They really went above and beyond in every aspect. The breakfast was also delicious! Especially the breakfast burritos and blueberry pancakes! The homemade special syrups and jams were an very nice touch!

The rooms were clean. The hosts were flexible with the breakfast schedule and would even pack a lunch instead of desired. The location allowed easy access to both Soldotna to the north and homer to the south. Lots of fishing charters, clamming beaches and hikes within a short driving distance.

Not a big fan of having to share the restroom with other rooms. (There are 2 restrooms for the three bedrooms and there was always a restroom available).

Sack lunch provided for fish trip was great
