The common areas are great, they offer all the needed hostel-services, friendly staff, warm shower.

We got a more comfortable room (with our own bathroom), but it was rather damp and humid. Almost no windows in our room.

Breakfast was affordable and delicious, beds were well made and comfortable. Hot water in showers. Super friendly staff. Easy to navigate to from the center of the city, and super close to the cross on the hill walk. Walking anywhere in Antigua from the hostel is a breeze.

Security was questionable, someone followed us into our room and wouldn't leave for 10-20 minutes. Tried to get us to pay for Spanish lessons and brochures. No way to contact the front desk to ask for help.

We're a couple that likes privacy and the comfort of our own room, so we rarely stay in hostels but occasionally when the needs for a specific location or other reason demand it, we take our chances. In this case I was overwhelmed by the facilities of the property and the overall vibe. The coffee is pretty bad, but it's provided free of charge. The snacks are readily available and plentiful. The garden area is private despite the tents where other guests stay. Our private room was perfectly fine for us and the noise policy is strict so you won't have room parties after 11pm. Overall an amazing stay for the money. Compared to European hostels this was heads and shoulders above those experiences.

Good hostal with everything you need. We started in a room with shared bathroom and our last day we stayed in the one with a private one. The hostal provides everything you need and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were a bit humid and we believe it could have been a bit cleaner. Especially the bathrooms and toilets in both the shared and private rooms

Very nice front desk staff, good and large breakfast for Q25, very comfortable pod-style beds with light and curtain, nice common/social area with gardens, good kitchen and wifi

Room was very small for how many bed pods they have packed into it, bags and shoes had to be everywhere. It's a little further away from the main plaza than other options but still a very convenient walking distance. Lockers available but located in the reception area rather than room. Showers could have been cleaner but overall not too bad. Chef was a bit rude when we tried to order breakfast.

I came back to hostal antigueño, this time staying in the shared dorms. Very confy, clean and private thanks to the capsule system!

The place has a lovely vibe, very clean, food is delish and affordable but the highlight are the staff, super incredibly sweet and helpful!

ıts very chill hostel. it has garden, social areas. ıts close to everywhere in center by walkin. people who work there very friendly and helpfull. they have shuttles to everywhere and they have tours 🥰 i like it. thank u 🖤

Everything there is great!!! The stuff are so helpful, the pace is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is cheap and delicious… you can get to city center by 12 minutes walk or a quick uber / tuktuk. The value you get for your money is so much more

Great hostel, perfect to meet people. Also they have good cheap breakfast and lunch.
