The dining room and lounge/bar area were beautiful. It was very peaceful for eating and conversation. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The food was really good. It had the feel of a bread and breakfast.

The rooms were in poor condition. There were extension cords plugging lamps in (obviously the electric has not been updated in some time). We could hear everything on the floor above us so that was a bit irritating.

Loved the location and charm of the Lodge and the outstanding food

Would be nice if there were rooms with King Beds

No TV and coffee pot in the room.

The staff members were all beyond courteous and kind. The breakfast was delicious and the setting is hard to beat. Drinks on the patio by the pond were lovely.

The room was REALLY small and the shower was made for very short people.

Feeling the history of the lodge.

Such a charming and historic place. Loved the photos and artifacts from the early days when the Dercums lived there. Breakfast was fabulous.

On nights when the restutaunt was closed the lodge almost seemed deserted. It didn’t appear any staff was available after about noon for things like ice or towels. Large fireplace was never lit. It really just seemed a lot more about the restaurant.
