This was a great layout for the four of us, a quite large place where we never felt like we were on top of each other. Well equipped.
When traveling, we always bring cleaning supplies with us because we are quite particular. The one downfall of this place was cleanliness. There was a layer of dust on blinds, the wicker furniture was incredibly dirty, the refrigerator had dirt caked on the seals. Quite a bit of the furniture was stained or even held together by tape. The sunroom had an odd smell. It was unfortunate, but nothing we weren’t able to clean ourselves.
We did appreciate that the beds were already made, there was TP, paper towels and hand soap.

Our family of 4 absolutely loved this beach house. The vibe was peaceful and luxurious. The two living room/TV areas worked well for parents to have one space, and kids the other. The beach views were amazing from both balconies. The house was clean, beautiful, and full of amenities like linens, soap, and cooking supplies. We hope to return again and again. Thank you!

We stayed here in October 2023 for our first time in NC and at any beach on the East Coast. We absolutely loved this property and its location. The beach is beautiful and is just a short walk away. The beach at this location wasn't very busy for the time of year we visited. Most of the crowd was down by the pier. It was perfect for our 3-year-old daughter to play in the sand and water.
The beach house had everything we could ask for with amenities and was very clean. We loved the layout of the house. The main level was very airy with lots of windows and sunlight. We would recommend this property and will come back.
We saw the best sunrises of our life here. It's a special place.

An open floor plan on the main level allows for family togetherness. Sitting areas at front and back of main floor also provides room for separate activities. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms with plenty of bathroom space. Lots of restaurants and activities nearby.

Great week. Wonderful place to vacation at the beach. Not the best for little kids. Need gates for stairs for 14 mo. Old. Was able to borrow one and used the coffee table on deck to block those stairs. The glass topped table was an issue also, as she liked to bang everything on it. Would def. go again, when grandkids are older. Had everything we needed and then some. Convenient location.

This is an ocean front home with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. It is as advertised, is nicely furnished, well stocked, clean and family friendly. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Would definitely go back again.

My college friends and I spent a long weekend at this property. We loved the house. The layout is great; the kitchen is well appointed; the deck is the perfect spot for morning coffee and afternoon happy hour. I would definitely book this property again.

Wonderful, roomy townhouse. Had everything we wanted, plus some. A lot of stairs, while carrying things and children. A little tough with a 14 month old, with the stairs. Clean, well supplied, would definitely stay again when grandkids are older. Great peaceful area.

Our yearly girls getaway… lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The property was awesome!, very clean, perfectly located about midway of the island. Great for walking to either end of the beach. The house was WELL stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a wagon for hauling beach items. They provided bath and hand soaps, paper towels, dish and laundry detergent..lots of extra things . It’s a great property!

This property was the perfect getaway for me and a dear friend to relax, catch up, and re-energize.
There is a WOW factor when you walk upstairs to the living area, and another WOW when you see the rear master bedroom (yes there are 2 master bedrooms) with an unobstructed view of the ocean.
The Condo was spotless. No odors. Kitchen fully equipped and we were able to get to one of the few restaurants open after Labor Day within 10 minutes. Plenty of space to have quiet time and read or watch a television show without bothering anyone else. The house is elevated, as a smart beach house should be, so be prepared to walk up and down a flight or 2 of stairs.

The owners were simply perfect and we are so pleased to have crossed their path. They offered helpful suggestions and responded promptly to any concern. The rental was beautiful, clean and comfortable with anything we needed and much more. Thank you for such a pleasant introduction to Sunset Beach.
(The only negative was actually Evolve who were not at all good at communicating and admitted to being overwhelmed and unable to answer emails.)

Fabulous vacation property
The beach was one of the most beautiful we have ever visited. The children loved the tidal pools and the sand was clean and rock free. The home had space for everyone to spread out to read, play games or watch TV. Wonderful back deck with view of the dunes and close enough to hear the sound of the waves breaking on the beach.

The Best!
We had the absolute best time! The beach and town of Sunset is so beautiful and wonderful. And this particular property is perfect. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The beach access could not have been better and the portion of Sunset beach directly outside of the house is pristine. Our family loved this trip. The owners were very friendly and responsive. We will definitely be back and I feel as though 5 stars isn't enough.

Tranquil
Short visit with a few beach strolls, porch time in the rockers, good meals, and card games. We cooked and had everything we needed at our fingertips. Enjoyed the comfortable beds, rocking chairs, and the game table. Layout was open and nice. Everything very clean and comfortable. Spacious , Comfortable Beachfront House
As first time visitors to Sunset Beach, we were thrilled with the house and the beach. My friend and I brought our teenage daughters and their friend as a diversion from remote learning. We had a fabulous long-weekend because the house and beach were so perfect for us. The Beach House, as owners Mr. & Mrs. Turlington call it, is lovingly taken care of and is welcoming and comfortable. There was actually more space than what we needed but chose it because of being beachfront with fantastic views from the porches. It is extremely well-stocked as we needed not one thing - they even had clothes pins for the clothesline that we used to dry beach towels and suits. The Turlingtons were in town that same weekend so we had the pleasure of meeting them; they made bicycles available (which was an added bonus to be able to ride on the tightly-packed, wide beach) and could recommend great local places to eat. We were blessed with absolutely beautiful weather so we spent almost every waking moment outside whether on the porch, walking/bicycling or sitting on the beach. Sunset Beach is mainly residential so aside from coffee or slushies , we made short drives to Calabash and Ocean Isle for dinner. Sunset Beach does have grassy dunes between the beachfront houses and the beach which you can carefully traverse or you can use the plentiful, well-maintained beach access walkways (several even have ramps for those that have trouble navigating stairs or are rolling coolers and beach carts). We could not have asked for a better beachfront house and experience at Sunset Beach - we'll definitely be back!

This place was great! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the 4 nights we were here. The duplex is very well designed with a sunroom to watch the sunset and a deck to watch the sunrise. The island is great for biking and the property location is perfect. The hostess Tracy was super nice and was very helpful.

Beautiful getaway at Sunset Beach
We loved our stay at Sunset Beach. The house was clean, comfortable, and roomy for our family, and provided beautiful views of the ocean and dunes. Our kids loved the board games and boogie boards. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and easy access to the beach. The owners were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying at this beach house. It has everything you need. Two big living areas, fully stocked huge kitchen, nice beds and bathrooms, and a great deck. If you're looking for fancy, this might not be your place but we thought it was the perfect combination of neat, clean, and just a bit old school. The hosts were available and answered all our questions. Definitely recommended!

The house was in a great location, perfect for my family. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, dishtowels, beach toys and chairs. We look forward to coming again sometime!
