location was amazing, very quiet and only a few steps away from both the beach and the lovely little old town centre of De Haan and the train station. Perfect!

Beautiful hotel just a block off the beachfront and close to restaurants. We had a room with views of trees and the quaint courtyard. So relaxing! We slept well with the sea air. Feels like the hotel was recently upgraded since the fixtures, bed, and bath looked new. The breakfast was excellent: carefully planned, beautifully balanced, and the bread is the BEST in Belgium! The owners and staff clearly care about the property and their guests’ experience. Glad we booked several months in advance since the rooms filled up for a holiday.

The hotel staff are kind and friendly and the location is perfect for beach access. Tiled floors, clean and easy rooms are perfect for beach traffic. Breakfast is always a surprise. The Hotel Les Dunes is now our favorite hotel for beach weekends away from Brussels.

I think the breakfast concepts with the bags isn’t for everyone. My parents-in-law were completely lost by the concept and would have
needed to just get a light breakfast from a few choices to be content. I personally liked the quality of what
was in the bags, but would have preferred to choose from a buffet. Nevertheless our last breakfast boxes
provided for some of the journey which shows that in some cases it has its use. I hope they take this feedback
into consideration.
The bedding was a little heavier than was comfortable for the summer.
The slope at the front is just too steep for me as an independent wheelchair user. at the risk of losing
some of the terrace space at the front, I would recommend making a longer slope to the side in two
parts and stairs next to it.

The concept of the take away breakfast was new to me, It's a perfect idea !

Really exceeded our expectations! Friendly staff, quiet hotel, and very very clean!! The only "negative" the couch in the room - it needs stuffing to be replaced in the seats.

The beds were amazing and the staff very kind.
Our window was just above the deck area where people stayed up late smoking and talking. So we had to close windows. Perhaps from 10 pm to 8 am people could sit in garden or in front?

The sustainability concept for the breakfast was really amazing! The location is perfect just a short walk to the beach and into the town. The staff were extremely friendly!
Rooms are a bit spartan and kinda of outdated but was still overall a very nice stay!

fantastic location just next to the sea. very nicely organised breakfast (taking care of the COVID-measures and with attention to sustainability)
since we were spending our days on the beach, there was a lot of sand that came into the room. would have been good to have a cleaning equipment (brush and a collector) available in the room so we could have cleaned up a bit ourselves.

We loved this place. It offered everything we wanted. Very clean, spacious room with good breakfast facilities. The staff was friendly and very flexible. It offers breakfast facilities in the main room downstairs, but for those who preferred this, it was possible to have this in your room or even to take it away. Very Covid conscious and we felt safe and welcome.
The room is quite basic for the price. They could maybe provide a kettle in the rooms, so that the guests can make a cup of tea in the evening. It is just a suggestion, no criticism. We really liked staying here!
