Desde que llegas al lugar te reciben con bebidas mientras esperas el check-in. Super atentos al detalle, la comida muy buena y de excelente calidad, gran variedad y habitaciones muy confortables.

Nos entregaron la habitación 40 minutos luego de haber realizado el Check-in, estábamos cansados por el viaje, lo que resultó algo incómodo.

La atención del personal es muy buena, siempre dispuestos a colaborar. La habitaciones super amplias y la cama muy cómoda. El hotel tiene variedad de zonas para disfrutar y pasar el tiempo.

La demora en el check in: venía de un viaje agotador y lo único que quería era recostarme pero me tocó hacer fila para registrarme y posteriormente me informaron que debía esperar para que me fuera asignado el numero de habitación. El personal siempre fue muy amable e incluso me indicaron que podía hacer uso de las instalaciones y el bufet, sin embargo, lo único que deseaba en ese momento era tirarme a la cama. Por otra parte, el bar de la piscina cierra temprano (5 creo) y no hay otros planes por hacer ya que no hay discoteca. Si vas en búsqueda de fiestas y diversión no es el lugar indicado, está más inclinado a personas que quieren estar en ambiente calmado y relajado.

The property was tucked away in a safe and comfortable setting. The food was amazing and we were able to try all of the restaurants. The buffet for breakfast and lunch was always the best variety of Dominican food and American. The staff was truly amazing. So friendly and caring. They went above and beyond from the bar staff to the transportation services. They really make you feel welcome and make the stay so much better. We had the privileged romance room which came with breakfast in bed, dinner on the beach and a massage which was all Amazing. The beach was beautiful and the resort was gorgeous.

The only two things were that the atm was not stocked so we had to use the employee atm at another part of the resort but I am grateful we were able to use that one. There should be more atms on the property. The other thing is the soliciting on the beach and around the pool. But if you just say no thank you they walk away.

The beach is great for swimming and has lots of shade. The picture spots for couples were very original and cute for pictures to remember the stay. The vegetarian restaurant was very good and stuff there very nice

Food options outside the buffet hours were poor. It needs maintenance in some areas..

I travelled for my birthday trip and I was a little hesitate at first from booking this resort due to some of the reviews but I'm glad I went with my gut and took that leap of faith because I've never been wow’d so much from the service, big thanks to Rosa at the beach drink bar and the receptionist who checked me in really stood out and went above and beyond. The concierge were very helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant were great and very wide selection I didn’t even get to explore the whole resort it was so big. I will most certainly be back if I ever come back to DR.

It seemed a little hard to get taxi drivers to pick me up and me always having to confirm with the bell guys open the gate at the front or for me to get dropped there.

Landscaping, gardening and palms at the beach. Very good job in landscaping all over the hotel. Housekeeping was excellent. Beach boys were excellent!

Taxi mafia. Most of staff were always in bad mood. The morale at the place was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Except some exceptions most of the personnel were doing an effort to work.

Comfortable rooms and amazing surroundings. Food and drink were also lovely.

Not a dislike per se, but some fixtures in the room could’ve been improved (phone didn’t work, toilet had to be repaired and we were without hot water for a few hours one of the evenings.)

Buffett style breakfast was terrific, plenty of delicious food and a wide variety as well. Most of the restaurants were very good from atmosphere to food, some selections were very limited. Staff was always courteous and helpful.

Some restaurants had very little in the way of food selections, but we were able to find the ones that fit our needs.

The food from the buffets was disgusting. I starved for 3 days. Making reservations for restaurants that are included in the cost of my stay is ridiculous especially if u let people book reservations months in advance how am I ever supposed to try what I want while I am there? The tapas restaurant that we got a reservation at was absolutely disgusting. Nothing even remotely edible. Men swarm you trying to sell u things as soon as you go to the beach. Leather pillows on the bed. No salt on any of the food. Housekeeper threw away our personal belongings and did not change our towels or take out the trash.

The property pool and communal areas were well maintained and looked great. All inclusive drinks good as was buffet.

All inclusive restaurants limited selection and some meals not great but all inclusive buffet good for all meals. Reception staff not great on check in as explained nothing about the hotel and we were initially booked Into a room which was under repair. The worst thing was the music and entertainment which is around the main pool. If you are unlucky enough to get a room looking out over the pool the music is very load and goes on till past midnight at weekends. Room are a bit dated but clean and a good size.

I came to the Dominican Republic for a vacation. I do not like the harassment of sales. People all over the island everywhere you go. You want to relax, not be swamped by people trying to sell you vacation packages?.

Unfortunately we have been speechless, nothing positive to say. Only the photographer who shot the images for booking.com deserves an award.

The food was possibly the worst experience, it was inedible, not fresh, tasteless, old, re-used. The “buffet” was more like school dinners, than a “5*hotel” of which this hotel was marketed as. The hotel was unclean and tacky - we were physically too scared to go in the pool!

The food. not good at all. Only good thing was the breakfast buffet in the morning. Our AC wasn't working half the time. I looked at the air filter and it was filled with dust.

It is okay for the price and one understands that being a huge resort and all included sacrifices quality. We had a good rest week

Rooms a little tired. Had to keep booking restaurants and if you wished to visit one in the other site this could only be done when reservations were released on a certain day. Beach quite tight with lots of double sun beds, continue stream of people trying to sell things or wanting you to have photos with animals.

The Weather

Internet was poor, almost impossible to get early dinner reservations (if you do not like to eat late, you're in trouble). All restaurants were reservation only for dinner :( They did not enforce the dress code to restaurants or saving chairs at pool. Common areas were not clean. No welcome drink upon arrival. We got accosted up on our arrival for a sales pitch to show us the upgraded exclusive area that you pay more for. The restaurants menus had special entrees only for the exclusive guest. Food was fair at best; some meals were over cook or under cook. Rooms were noisy at night and no security to enforce quiet hours. Mini Bar in room was a JOKE!!!! TWO MINI Beers that's it for alcohol. Pool is in need of maintenance lots of chipped paint and dirty lines. LOTS of seaweed on beach and was not kept cleaned up throughout the day. Ash trays in common areas were not even cleaned daily. Staff spoke little to no English. Cats were roaming the restaurants every day and begging for food. Maids forgot to leave fresh wash clothes three days.

I did not like the fact that you have to make reservation for any restaurants for dinner I can understand the steak house but all restaurants annoying to me

El ambiente , la tranquilidad y el hecho de poder usar las piscinas por la noche . El room service las 24 hrs . El tamaño de la habitación , estaba limpia pero con un muy leve olor a humedad, a ratos perceptible . Los jardines , el paisajismo , se nota preocupación , no son solo palmeras . Hay muchos rincones acogedores para sentarse y conversar o beber algo en pareja .

La comida está límite de ser mala, poco variada . La opción de tragos es básica en términos de marca a menos que seas socio. No pudimos usar la playa por el sargazo y tampoco limpiaban la orilla de ésta . Le faltaba algo de Mantención a las piscinas ( pintura).

I like the proximity of the room and the beach, pool and restaurants.

Some of the tiles on the grounds were loose. Very easy to get tripped up. Also, the toilets didn’t flush. And the Wi-Fi only worked in lobby areas. It was spotty at best.
