Location in local neighbourhood with local bars restaurantes and supermarket across road. Quiet neighbourhood. Parking option good, 20 minute walk to old town. Good shower heat and pressure.
Placed in room opposite lift so had people talking outside room. Not much sound proofing from other rooms, voices and dragging furniture late at night and 9am in morning.

We had an excellent time at Hotel Castro Real! The staff was friendly and the room was clean and spacious with nice views of the street below. Great location, too, near parks and restaurants!

Carla, the receptionist on check-in, was a delight.
The parking garage was a nightmare of tight tolerance. My Kia had to back and fill to make the turns entering and exiting. My stick shift made the experience even more exciting.

There was no water boiler! So we couldn’t make any tea or coffee in the room, It would be great to have a boiler, an iron and a small coffee maker in the room.

Helpful staff, some English spoken. Very clean, excellent shower. Quiet location but many bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Very close to main University hospital (my reason to be there) but within 20min walk of city centre. Single room a bit small but adequate. Overall highly recommend.

The receptionist didn't speak a word of english, only spanish. The breakfast was way too simple and not well organized, the underground parking is extremely narrow, only adviseable for small cars

All good. Clean comfortable decent shower good beds. Helpful and friendly staff. 20 minutes walk to the town centre but all amenities close by (bars, supermarkets etc). Secure underground parking for the motorbike at 9 euros a day which was reasonable for Oviedo. Highly recommended.
