Friendly welcome by the staff. Clear instructions to accommodation. Well kept grounds.

The place is beautiful and in the middle of no where. If you don't need internet then this is wonderful. Internet is very spotty. But actually we enjoyed a week where no one could really ask us anything unless we were out. So if this is your sort of holiday, then go. We will be booking again, if really was a rest from the world.

The internet in the caravan we were in NO 8, was not good. We worried about it for about a day, then saw the advantages of having no internet, it was very peacefully and I recommend it to everyone. You come back so refreshed and just deal with things when you get back, which is what a holiday should be about. You can still use whatsapp, then when you go out to explore, you can just deal with anything then.

Springhouse cottage was a great experience very clean and had everything you need for a family to stay and loved the hot tub

Rated facilities good as it had no Wi-Fi but had smart tvs in every room,and the beds were quite hard didn’t sleep very well other than that everything was spot on

clean, bright, modern and country feel. Nice meal at restaurant - we were unlucky due to time of year and time of break we only had one meal. Thought it might be better to have more of a cafe feel during the day ie breakfasts, light lunches and cakes. but it didn’t start till 5pm and it maybe is later on in year.

So ladder up to bedroom a bit steep but I thought I hadn’t booked that type of pod so my fault and the downstairs pull down bed a bit stiff to pull down and high but was comfy.and fine. Sign posts very few and not easy to see. My sat nav took me up a lot of single track roads so with better sigh posting it would have helped. Wi-Fi but not free.

Place was quiet and relaxing and staff very helpful
