Apartamento muy céntrico en la renacida Maison Guedoz en la plaza de la iglesia de Courmayeur. Se compone de una habitación doble, una habitación con una litera y una tercera cama plegable que puede convertirse en una cama doble, baño con ducha para dos personas, amplia sala de estar con cocina. Todo amueblado en un estilo característico de montaña, equipado con todas las comodidades para unas vacaciones agradables en nuestras montañas. Perfect location in the heart of Courmayeur! Great space with easy parking… lovely host available 24/7 for questions. Patio wasn’t as expected but still highly recommend this gem of a property!

The location of this property was fantastic. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in the heart of Courmayeur. The owners were readily accessible for all questions. Place was beautiful and really well kept and clean.

Lovely apartment in the centre of town
Thank you for a lovely stay! The apartment is very centrally located on one of the main streets in the town, close to cafes and bars, as well as the local Carrefour. Alessandra was super friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, especially given our late check-in. She was incredibly quick to respond with any questions we had during our stay and it was helpful to know that she was based in her store next to the apartment building during the day if we needed to speak to her for any reason. The apartment itself was neat, tidy and nicely decorated with modern amenities with a quirky alpine feel. The kitchen was well equipped and it was easy to cook dinner. We were a group of five, and the communal area was sufficiently spacious to accommodate all of us without feeling cramped. Great for a group visit or small family - 100% recommend.

Appartamento accogliente, posizione strategica, proprietari gentilissimi
Abbiamo trascorso una settimana perfetta a Courmayeur. Nell'appartamento, ben arredato in un mix di stili di buon gusto (moderno e chalet di montagna), è tutto curato e non manca niente: dalla cucina completa di tutte le stoviglie alla lavastoviglie, dagli armadi spaziosi al ripostiglio con lavatrice. Le stanze sono confortevoli (quella con i letti a castello ha anche lo spazio per fare giocare i bambini, cosa che la nostra piccola ha apprezzato molto) e hanno la vista (dietro alle prime case) sulla montagna e sulla pista di rientro. Ideale per una famiglie di 3-4 persone.
La posizione è strategica per raggiungere anche a piedi tutti i punti di interesse: in pieno centro, ma silenzioso, si sale un piano e si è già sulla via pedonale dei negozi, camminando 10 minuti sulla stessa via si arriva alla funivia di Courmayeur altrimenti in 15 minuti si scende Dolonne (qui la strada è un po' meno bella perché trafficata) dove si trovano l'altra funivia, il fun park sulla neve per i bambini e anche il palazzetto dove si può pattinare sul ghiaccio. Abbiamo fatto questi percorsi a piedi più volte con nostra figlia di 4 anni perché ci piace camminare ed è tutto davvero vicino, ma anche uscire e rientrare in macchina nel garage è praticissimo.
I proprietari, che hanno il negozio sopra l'appartamento, sono stati gentilissimi e sempre disponibili a fornirci tutte le indicazioni su luoghi da vedere o posti in cui mangiare.
Siamo stati davvero bene! Consiglio questo appartamento a chiunque voglia trascorrere una vacanza sentendosi un po' come a casa.

The flat providead an ideal base for a short skiing holiday.
This town centre flat was a perfect base for a short skiing holiday being located within the quiet pedestrianised area close to bars, cafés, restaurants and shops and within easy walking distance of lifts. The kitchen was simply but adequately equipped. The owners, who run the adjacent ski shop, were charming and informative.

The apartment was extremely clean, comfortable and attractively furnished, with lovely wooden floors, lots of clever storage space, several full-length mirrors and a super modern bathroom with large twin shower. However, the kitchen, though modern and well-designed, lacked some of the appliances a British family might expect, such as a toaster, microwave and even kitchen scissors. There was no kettle either, but when we mentioned this, the owner obligingly bought one that same day.
The bedrooms were in the modern alpine style and very comfortable, and we were not disturbed by either the church bells, which ring charmingly throughout the day, or the neighbours.
The greatest drawback, from our point of view, was the rather dark, claustrophobic feel of the living area. The ceiling seemed quite low and even with the sun streaming through the sliding doors, it didn't illuminate the room. Consequently, when we were sitting on the sofa bed, we could not read a book without putting the overhead light on. There is a narrow passageway stretching the length of the property and overlooking the streets behind the building and the wonderful mountain views above. However, it has a solid, chest-high wall and insufficient room to sit out on a chair, unless it is placed sideways, so I would hesitate to describe it as a balcony. Directly opposite the apartment there is another one facing, which blocks much of the view and reduces the amount of privacy in the living and bedroom areas.
The location is as central as it is possible to be and Courmayeur is a beautiful upmarket resort with lovely shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, we mistimed our visit and many of the shops, bars and restaurants were closed for all or part of the week we were there. Since the summer season had not yet begun, the ski lifts were also closed, and we were only able to reach the mountains by walking. Naturally, the cafes at the summits were seldom trading either, so I would recommend any June hikers take their own refreshments with them ,rather than relying on there being any food and drink available on the route.
