We loved everything about Casa Tulipa. It is even better than the pictures on line. It was clean, comfortable and spacious for our group of 5. With the patios, view of the water and the dipping pool it was perfect for us. The location in Luz is quite nice as well. The grocery store is a 1 minute walk from the unit and the beach and restaurants are a less than 5 minute walk. We ate in 2 nights and found the kitchen to be well equipped. Communication with the owner was easy and they are very responsive as we did have a few questions while we were there.

There was nothing that could have been better for us.

location is amazing and the use of the small pool is brilliant addition.

the property is tired, many items in need of replacement or updating, beds very poor quality mattresses and furniture dated and tired. the rental price is very high compared to other properties locally and therefore not competitive for the quality. items reported as missing or broken were replaced quickly but one of the patio doors didn’t open and this wasn’t repaired during our stay.

The house is beautiful! The pool is perfect and the many places to lounge around the property means this would be comfortable for all kinds of groups. We absolutely loved our stay.

The master bed is two twin beds pushed together which is a bit awkward but not a deal breaker

Excellent location right by the supermarket and immaculately clean. Cosy, homely, spacious everything you could need was available within the property. Fab comfy sunbeds, bathrooms were spacious & clean, great showers with lots of hot water and toiletries included. Beautiful balcony over looking the pool with comfortable lazy chairs. Overall fantastic.

A double bed in the master suite would have been nice and the BBQ/pool area is quite a distance from the kitchen and on a different floor and in accessed via the main bedroom which was a bit strange but would not put us off staying here again as a couple.

It was a bit too close to a local restaurant which meant you could hear their music until late.

Location of the property is very good, very short walk from the main beach in Praia da Luz. Supermarket very close. There are also some restaurants on Praia da Luz. Nonetheless the house has everything to prepare meals, even a grill. The dishwasher is a great help after the meal to tidy up the kitchen. On top of everything the house has ocean view, we stayed in during the full moon, and the view at night was great.

All very dated..feels like a rental property..fixtures(lights/bathroom/suspension shower rods with curtains) and kitchen/utensils need serious updating..no vent/fan in kitchen..all feels like 80ies..not a single double/queen/king bed..poor/small mattresses and linens/towels poor quality/not enough
