Good location, we were able to check in a bit early

Hot water in the room wasn't working the first night and couldn't be fixed until the next day. Cold room and thin blankets, couldn't turn up the heat because it's centrally controlled. Weird layout of the room- the backboard didn't fit the bed, and the bathtub is right next to the bed. Tiny space.

Location was great. Near bus & metro station. Good wifi connection.

The room was very small for us 4. We travelled 2 adult & 2 children (7 & 8). The shower was difficult to adjust the warm water (not able to adjust cold water).

The rooms are small and close to each other, but surprisingly quiet. Bed is a Queen. Room was dusty. The bath in the room might seem nice but you have to use it as a shower: very uncomfortable to have the shower curtain stick to your body while taking a shower (and not to have privacy while showering) Some small things that could be improved: no coffee pads for the machine, better lighting for the mirrors.

The location near Odeon and all Left Bank shops & attractions is great.

How this place is a three-star hotel is a mystery to me. I’ve stayed often at a two-star hotel a couple of blocks away, and it is cleaner & brighter, has very helpful staff, and offers a generous breakfast with quality food. None of that description fits this hotel. The Tonic had clean enough rooms, but absolutely grubby carpets & walls on the stairs. Windows were onto an air shaft. All the walls were dark. The elevator stops on landings between floors, so you still need to get your bags up or down half a floor of tight spiral stairs. Clearly not for anyone who absolutely needs an elevator. Breakfast items are the cheapest versions available on the market.

The staff were nice

Where do I start, the bed was a small double with pillows that were too high even for someone who likes high pillows like myself. The bathroom is a disgrace since the shower head fell off the day I arrived, the walls of the toilet were broken and no one seems to bother, there is no separation from the shower to the floor so the water goes all over the floor next to the bed which has ti he dried with the towels. There is no space to put anything within the room ( we only had 2 small suitcases). Not only was there no fridge but also the hotel is located outside of a nightclub or bar, with no insulation and soundproofing, meaning that we had to stay up until 4am each day to wait for the noise to die down.

Let me start by saying that we tried to do the right thing by letting the hotel know directly, about our unfortunate experience. Sent emails and information about what happened, and no one took the time to answer or even apologize. They stole my leather boots from the hotel room. No one even cared when I informed the receptionist and hotel staff. it has been 5 days, and the boots never showed up and I still don’t have any answer or communication from this hotel. Rooms weren’t very neat. Was dusty, sticky floors and dirty utensils and the cleaning personnel was not very friendly. Was my third time in Paris, and this is by far the worst place I have stayed in. Staff was not really responsive to any questions or complains.

Room was great. Location was amazing.

We had the room directly next to the reception and the receptionist spent all night on the phone. We are British so we obviously didn’t do the obvious thing which would be to just go and ask him to not be so loud. All jokes aside, it would’ve been nice if he wasn’t on the phone all night. Earplugs are a must.

The location was fantastic.

The room was much smaller than we expected, especially for 4 of us. The staff could have been friendlier and the pillows softer. It is fine for a night.

Very good location and nice neighbourhood, a Patisserie right on the corner for morning croissants. A lavazza coffee machine. Nice room.

The metro Station besides was not working. The toilet and shower with no privacy. The pillows are not comfortable.
