A cozy apartment with a great view on the mountains and the plain of Lake Constance. The balcony was a good place to sit and enjoy the view. It would have been even better with a proper sunshade. Inside good lighting and sockets everywhere. Comfortable beds. A very hospitable and friendly host who was a source of information.

The apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator, which could be a problem for elderly people with bad knees. The lay out of the apartment is uncommon. That is definitively part of its charm, but it also means that one of the beds is in the loft (with more stairs) and the other bed is in the living room. That took us a bit of getting used to, but in the end it turned out to be no problem. We did not get any instructions in advance how to get the key. There was a key box at the door but we did not succeed in open it (it turned out that it did not function). We called the host, but did not reach him. But then he appeared around the corner and from then on everything went smoothly and well.

I more than liked the warm welcome by the house owner! He was there with the keyes, even though we arrived late (after 20:00). He showed all specifics of the appartment. Plus, he explained sightseeing points and hicking areas, and he offered maps of the region. Also he gave us useful recommendations on where to buy food and have dinner. PLUS, he even gave us a little tour of his small private museum on the area's cultural heritage, which is by the way stunning and amazing! All-in-all, it was the BEST welcome I have ever experienced, open arms, warm hearted by a very kind landlord. Muy simpático!

We were greeted by the host and showed around the apartment. We felt really welcome. Location is beautifull on top of a hill with very many possibilities to enjoy the surrounding. City center is very close where you can do almost everything. It is also located on the border with Switzerland and close to Lichtenstein for day trips. Many hiking possibilities
