Der grösste Faustpfand des eher unscheinbaren Hotels ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals und der lockere Umgangston. Das Frühstück war absolut OK - man wurde sogar aufgefordert, sich auf den Weg noch ein Brötchen "einzupacken" - quasi als Proviant - das habe ich bis dato eher arg selten erlebt. Darüber hinaus gab es auch noch Kaffee aus der Thermoskanne und Bier aus einem eigens dafür parat stehenden Kühlschrank gratis - ebenfalls außergewönlich. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Parken konnte man in unmittelbarer Umgebung sogar kostenfrei.

In pcto. Komfort und leider auch ein bischen in der Sauberkeit muss man leichte Abstriche machen. Die Rezeption an sich war die ganze Zeit eigentlich nicht besetzt - ist aber nicht gravierend gewesen, weil mit der Schlüsselkarte sämtliche Pforten zu öffnen waren.

Centrally located hotel in Herne, good price for the town where is lack of hotels. Price was better than in the other similar hotels for the day. Staff very helpful. Room was ok, although would have preferred one sidet bed instead of two narrow ones. Location is really good, 4 min walk from U-bahn Herne Mitte. Strong Wi-Fi.

Hotel is little bit outdated, 1970's and 1980's by desing. It's not a separate building but first floor (or second, depending how to count) in bigger building. The hotel should invest more into repair works and renovation. Room little bit dark for work as windows were small and lights in the room not suitable for work.

The two people I dealt with, a dude and an older woman, were both awesome and super friendly. Don't miss out on the breakfast - for something like 6 Euro it is extremely affordable, the choices are plenty and you'll definitely leave hungry.
