The hosts were super friendly and helpful and pointed us to a local outdoor swimming pool (which was lovely after the heat of the day) and booked us into a wonderful restaurant at a castle overlooking gernsbach. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The checkin was easy and overall we had a lovely stay.

You do need to drive from the b&b to get to facilities. Also, while the location is secluded up in the woods, it is pretty close to the road which made it a bit noisy with the windows open.

Friendly and faced staff, good breakfast, nice atmosphere.

This is a true 10/10. They deliver everything you would expect from a B&B, but then go the extra mile. You want to go somewhere for dinner? They know a place that suits you and arrange a reservation. You want to go out and explore the area? They will help you out and explain what is the tourist trap and what is actually beautiful. And Milo is the last cherry on top 👍

Very nice hosts Ideal for hikes

There was a group of people who booked several rooms and who were quite loud in the hallway, going from one room to another.

My boyfriend and I were looking for affordable alternatives for accommodations since Baden Baden was out of our budget. Hotel Wanderlust is a gem just minutes outside of Baden Baden. The host, Mariann, was so wonderful and super friendly. We didn’t have much planned but Mariann was prepared with maps and booklets and helped us plan our entire stay! On top of that she prepared a great breakfast and the room was super clean. We plan to stay there again for our next visit in the Black Forest.

Minor detail but it was a bit unclear where to park once the hotel’s spots were full - we had no issues though.

Great couple that run a clean and good looking B&B!
