Das Personal war nett und wollte helfen, leider konnten Sie nicht viel tun um einige Sachen zu ändern. Check in ist ab 15 Uhr, es gibt kein Internet Anschluss zum Fernsehen, und die Heizung war einfach zu warm die ganze Zeit, obwohl wir Sie überall aus gemacht haben. Das Zimmer war aber sonst perfekt, ausser die Temperatur. Matratzen gemütlich, nur die Decken waren aus Kunststoff und man hat richtig geschwitzt .

Es war zu warm im Hotel, auch im Zimmer, obwohl die Heizungen aus gedreht waren. Der Treppengang und die öffentlichen Räumen waren nicht sehr sauber

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Westenhellweg, der Fußgängerzone. Vom Hauptbahnhof ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreuchen. U-Bahn Haltestelle (Westentor) gleich neben dem Hotel. Die Orientalischen Atmosphäre (viel Marmor, große Treppe, schöne Sitzmöbel im Eingangsbereich) ist der Hammer. Man ist gleich versetzt in "1000 und eine Nacht". Frühstück ist vom Preis/-Leistung gut.

Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstraße, daher bei geöffneten Fenster durch Straßenverkehr laut. Bei geschlossenen Fenster absolute Stille.

Interior needs TLC it is lovely but obviously hasn’t been renovated since it was installed. Room smelled of smoke. I kindly got moved to a different room which was only a little better.

Das Hotel gefällt uns sehr!!! Die Zimmer sind groß und komfortabel, Badezimmer auch sehr gross und sauber. Die Lage ist perfekt! Personal immer nett und hilfsbereit.

I paid for the bottle of water that was in the room, the restaurant where I had breakfast had super dirty chairs, the floor and tablecloths were dirty and sticky, the juice machines useless, half of the customers couldn't put juice in their glasses, the reception was super nervous and clumsy, I clearly specified that I only want a large bed, but they gave me 2 small beds

The location of the hotel close to train station and city centre. Good choice for breakfast. Spacious bath and great shower pressure. Fast wi-fi.

No air conditioning - had to leave all windows open and because the hotel is on a very busy road it was impossible to sleep. Pillows are too soft TV - only German channels. Room wasn't cleaned for the 3 nights I stayed and there was a ear plug on the floor outside the room for my whole stay.

one of the worst checking experience I had with staff, he also didn’t email my invoice. This hotel practically not a 4 star hotel. Poor staff, poor quality with everything. They have worst pillow, a simple pillow how can be hard to replace, and a small comforter, why? . Hotel is also on a heavy traffic so a lot of noise during night. It says 4 starts but practically they are not. I had much better experience at 2-3 star hotels

Hotel is in great location to train station and shopping street. We walked to the hotel from the train and walked to the shopping street across the street to see the christmas markets. Great, great location and hotel. Loved it.

The receptionist are so welcoming and friendly. Rooms were so clean but wasn't expect to see plasma TV in d age of smart TV.

The entrance of the hotel is very pretty. The location is very good, near our bus stop and if you walk the road in front you easily reach the main stores and Christmas market.

The bed and pillows are not comfortable at all. The heating machine on the bathroom didn't work all the time. 10 minutes after our arrival a staff member knocks on the door, I reply and walk to the door to open it and check what is the matter. I was shocked to see that they rapidly opened the door of our room with their card. Lucky I wasn't naked but I was not prepared and didn't like it. The woman doesn't even speak English so I didn't understand what she wanted. She just point to the bathroom and I said it was busy. Otherwise probably they would come in with my boyfriend using it. Until now, I don't know why this happened, no explanation in English.

I loved the breakfast spread and the time it starts (6.30am). My room (420) comes with a bathtub and a great view of the main city centre walking street. Train station is just across the road. To get to Dortmund Main station, take U43 or U44 train from Westentor station and stop at Kampstraße Station. Then go to one level up and take U45 northbound train and stop at Dortmund main station. Follow the directions printed on the floor to get to the Dormund regional trains to Frankfurt for example. Nobody checked my U Bahn train tickets when I was there. There is a kettle inside the room. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. There is a safe in the room but too small to fit a laptop. Clothes hanger is provided. Wifi signal is good but not totally strong in some areas of the breakfast room. Travelling around the city, you can use the electrial scooters available at the U Bahn stations and pay 0.20 Euros per hour, The App is called Tier. Bike lanes are available around Dortmund. West of the hotel there are a few south asian supermarkets and restaurant. East of the hotel is a good starting point to explore the city centre (Westenhellweg). Staff is typical German. Serious but efficient. For room service call 231 560500.

I wish the bathroom comes with a bidet. The heater requires the window to be opened at the top and the curtains to be closed in order to be turned on. The bottled water in the room is 4 Euros. I wished they had a gym in the hotel. The most disappointing of all are the TV stations. They are all in German.
