We booked for 9 nights and left earlier to another place although this meant we had to pay for 2 hotels for the same period of time. But the noise was not bearable (and we come from a big city and are used to street noise). We find it unfair from the host to put pictures on booking.com that imply the house is in the middle of nature/green. In fact Vorarlbergs most popular motorbike road (to Furkapass) is running uphill right in front of the balcony/sleeping room and further at the back of the house (see pictures I try to upload). First bikes chasing the bends up the mountain at 7:00. And then the whole day long. Another reason for the bad rating: when we left, the host insisted we had to give back the Bregenzerwald-card (for free rides on the lifts) as she said she had to give it back to the tourist office. Which is of course not true as one can use it the whole day on departure day. Anyway, it might be a place for winter, when one does not have breakfast on the balkony or wants to open the window (and no motorbikes as well). No place for summer though.
