We are a family of two adults and two children. My daughter celebrated her 10th birthday while we were staying there this October 2022. It was late at night when I realized I hadn’t packed some balloons. Sonia and her team went above and beyond the call. They created a beautiful balloon arch for her. Which she called her birthday throne. They prepared a delicious chocolate cake for her topped with sparkles. The fireside dinner we enjoyed there was one of the best we had in all of Morocco. The restaurant service is top tier. But it’s not just the amazing concierge that set Lodge K apart. Tucked away - from the moment the gates open you are awestruck by the lush grounds. We stayed in the lodge with pool and the villa far exceeded any of our expectations. There really aren’t enough words to do this justice. Just book it and see!

Lodge K offers Very large and nicely designed rooms! The rooms are really impressive. Some of the best designs we saw! The pool is large and very pleasant. The staff is very kind. They are trying very hard to meet expectations.

Poor attention to details from the hotel. From checking-in to pool chairs, we felt the hotel was lacking customer attention. From breakfast to Dinner. We felt we were always missing something. Everyone is extremely kind, but they need more staff or better training. The current service/hospitality level is not "luxury" or "5 stars" compared to other hotels at the same price in Marrakech. Weak hospitality level: it all comes down to details. We could not find beds/seats around the pool because all the beds/seats were given to people who purchased day-pass (nonhotel clients). No one came to check on you regarding towel needs or any other things you might want to order. You have to ask when you need something. And this applies to anything during the stay. Food quality and offerings are poor. Only a few rotating items on the menu every day. Some were good, but most were OK. They should revisit their food offering and match it to the price they are asking for.

If you need to get a taxi it will take you a minimum of 30 minutes ( which is standard for all of Morroc it seems ) but there are no signs for the lodge so my taxi driver had to ask every person nearby. Get them to pick you up from airport or organise a taxi. The guy they use is very nice and every journey is a minimum of €15. Also there is no breakfast buffet, its only traditional Moroccan breakfast with eggs only which was lovely but very carb laden.

Great place for people who value calmness, high quality, comfortable and remarkable rest.

It just didn’t seem like a 5* hotel for many small reasons (it may seem like we are being picky however these things altogether let down the overall enjoyment of our stay): No tea, flowers, pastries or fruit on arrival as stated on website Aircon continuously dripping in room making the floor slippery in the entrance to the bathroom (despite telling staff numerous times) Not 5* furnishings in our suite (e.g curtains) Garden view would be beautiful if trees were not in front of the window (El burj suite) Asked about trip and tours but we’re just given a spa menu Quality of service depended on the day and who was working - very mixed (one evening we questioned the stale bread and were told it was the Moroccan style, another evening we had flowers on the table and delicious fresh bread and olives before we ordered)
