Sandra and Arnoud are the the best hosts! They made us feel right at home. Gouda was our first stop on our vacation and we made the right decision. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. No details were missed -- even included special local treats! Sandra helped us negotiate the parking, make restaurant reservations and give suggestions for several side trips. Please read the description of the room - you will have to walk up stairs -- this is clearly explained. It truly adds to the charm of the accommodation! Thank you very much for everything!

Very beautifully designed B&B. A unique experience taken care by a very lovely Dutch couple. Very warm hospitality and welcoming to Gouda. Good breakfast and more than enough amenities in the room/bathroom. Location is perfect, in the centre but quiet in the evening. Overall a greatly pleasant stay.

The room is magnificently unkept and has been arranged with great attention to detail in mind. Everything in the bathroom works very well. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic. The host was extremely kind and was very helpful with plenty of information about Gouda and things to visit.

Wonderful hospitality. Great tips & recommendations on the town. Breakfast was delicious. I would happily stay here again. The stairs to the room are very steep, although this is typical of old Dutch houses. In my opinion, it adds to the charm, but may not be suitable for everyone.

Sandra (the owner) was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome to her beautiful home. Our room was extremely spacious with every requirement catered for - and I mean EVERYTHING - from hair products to coffeemaker and EVERYTHING in between. (With some lovely, thoughtful little intricacies included, too!) Sandra advised us on the best places to eat around Gouda and we were spoilt for choice. Breakfast the following morning was delicious and plentiful and we enjoyed Sandra's company as much as her excellent cuisine. Gouda is such a beautiful, quaint little town and well worth a visit. If you are considering a visit I simply can't recommend De Kamer Hiernaast highly enough. This was our first visit here but I can guarantee that it will certainly NOT be our last and we are already looking forward to our return. An absolutely stunning place to stay.
