friendly hosts, lovely view, and very close to a restaurant

Roberto was extremely helpful.He came to pick us up from the station and carry our luggage up to the rooms.The view is amazing and each and everything is provided. Overall the stay was very satisfying and I would recommend it.

Beautiful views of lake como from the balcony

As traveling on public transportation, it is remote from stores and restaurants. Host Roberto was kind with rides ti the store and the town of Varenna

Bellevista has the most spectacular view of Lake Como and is in a very quiet location. You couldn’t ask for a better host who accommodated our needs. Roberto met us at the train station, having to take two trips to get four of us and our luggage to the apartment. It was so very nice of him. we are walkers so we enjoyed the walk into Varenna, however there was one time when we needed a ride to the Ferry pick up and he was more than happy to do that. Greatly appreciated! Please look at the map in my photo. The Greenway Trail is a great, safe way to walk into town. Look for the handwritten black line on the Greenway.

Roberto the host is extremely helpful and went the extra mile to help us with transport and shopping. This truly made a huge difference to us. The apartment is comfortable, clean and has an exceptional view from the balcony. Beds were comfortable and shower room large with hair dryer and washing machine if you need one. Boat trip to local villages definitely recommended and a stroll around Villa Monastero.

The location is stunning regards the view but there are many steep steps leading up to the apartment if you have mobility issues. The walk to Varenna is about 30 minutes. A lovely walk mostly on pavement with an option for a shortcut via steps. Fine to walk this in the day but probably not ideal at night. Two restaurants in walking distance but the local one 10 paces away was temporarily closed unfortunately. No local shop so be prepared to get supplies in one go. Roberto very kindly helped us get to the supermarket for food and all important Prosecco!

The view from the balcony on the lake is amazing. The house is very well cleaned, and has all things in the kitchen you need. It is quite spacy. A small but nice rocky beach for swimming is 'downstairs', close by where you can do snorkling. Restaurant 20 meters away is very nice and not too expensive, with a Great lake view as well, and the restaurant close by 'downstairs' very nice but little bit more luxe (and costs therefore a bit more). Nearby many nice things and smaller cities to visit; we liked Bellano just north of Varenna as less touristic than Varenna is. Roberto the owner was very helpful guiding us for the parking, things for nice things to visit, and as guide on a boat trip. We really enjoyed this holiday. For us it was great with the kids but we see holiday as family and quality time. The house is nearby many places but is in a 'quiet' area. We were not at all bothered by a train sometimes passing by, it is not noisy as some reviews said. The way to the doorstep is with some stairs, so it is not handy for people that are disabled.

The host was very friendly and welcoming, he pick us from the port. If needed the cost can pick up/drop off at Varenna by request. Nice surrounding and great view from the balcony. Only 2 km walk from Varenna.

House is a bit up hill, car would be recommended, but the host can meet and pick up if needed from Varenna.

slightly out of town and we didn't have a car, but the host kindly picked us up and took us into Varenna centre on numerous occasions. Accommodation was a little dated but quaint .

Roberto was a gem! He met us at the train and dropped us off at the train. Always available to help. Lake Como is already magical, but to have this location in Fiumelatte was perfect for us. First rate view from the balcony, the living room, and the main bedroom of the amazing lake. The night view is extraordinary. The apartment had all the room you could want and was very comfortably appointed. Everything we needed was there. The restaurant right next door was perfect for brunch or dinner and the walk to Varenna was a pleasure (1.4 km). Another great restaurant on the way to Varenna, and then Varenna is the door to the Lake. Bellisimo!

Roberto was extremely welcoming and helpful with all aspects of our stay. The home, high on the hills above Lake Como has spectacular views from the deck and adjacent yard. Very homey, not flashy. A true”Italian” experience!
