Great rooftop patio-- magnificent view! Rooms small-- no place four adults could sit together inside comfortably. Can't imagine how 8 people would work! Very clean.
At other Vrbo's on this trip our hosts met us at the lodgings, and they gave us their WhatsApp contact info so we could reach out to them with questions or for recommendations. Would have like that kind of contact in Corniglia.
Appreciate that there was a first aid kit on site-- we didn't need it, but nice to know it was there.
Great location-- but if you can't do steps/hills, don't go to Cinquaterra!
Warning-- if you plan to take the shuttle down the hill, have cash. Unlike every other place we'd been in the previous 8 days, we couldn't use a credit card.

We were so pleased to find a rental located in the quaint village of Corniglia. The place was clean and the terrace on the rooftop had breathtaking views of the coastline. We did not receive check in instructions until the day of arrival so we would have preferred communication in advance. The showers are quite small and there are steps to manage with your luggage but we managed without any difficulty. We were overall very pleased with the rental and would visit again.

This apartment has a beautiful view, is very clean, and is in such a fun part of Cinque Terre! Make sure to read the host’s check in instructions carefully. She lets you know exactly where you need to go! In the mornings, we would walk to the markets in the morning to grab coffee and breakfast ingredients, eat on the beautiful balcony, and then be ready for a day of hiking and eating wonderful food! We are already counting down the days to our next trip to Corniglia, and we will make sure to stay here again! Beautiful memories were made.

We loved staying here, and wish we had a few more days! The apartment had everything we needed and more, down to laundry soap and tea bags. We had the best lasagne at nearby Bar Nunzio. Would highly recommend!

We wish we could have stayed longer - the views from the roof-top patio and from the main bedrooms are breathtaking. The property was clean and had everything we needed - including a clothesline - which was essential because we all had laundry to do halfway through our trip. We loved staying in Corniglia which was quieter and far less touristy that the other towns of Cinque Terre. We did have to be proactive in contacting the owner because we still hadn’t received check-in instructions the day before our trip from Rome to Cinque Terre, but it all worked out. We would definitely stay in this property again - we could have spent ten days just sitting on the roof taking in the view!

Had a great time at the property. Outdoor terrace is wonderful. There are lots of steps to access Corniglia but is definitely worth the exercise.

Wonderful place! Perfect location, lovely apartment and amazing views of the sea from the rooftop patio. The kitchen had all the cookware and utensils needed to make meals. Washing machine and clothes line on the roof was a nice convenience and we loved having large sitting rooms with each bedroom. Apartment is close to several great restaurants, shops and a couple of small grocers. We travelled all five Cinque Terre towns and believe Corniglia is the best place to stay as it is not nearly as crowded as the other cities. Check in was a bit rough as we hadn’t received check-in instructions until well after our check-in time, but we all thought the apartment was perfect and would highly recommend it!!

This is a great home in a great Cinque Terre village (Corniglia is the least busy of the Cinque Terre towns). I don't think we've ever been to a cleaner VRBO. It was clear that the owners take cleanliness very seriously. The apartment is small but efficient. We had enough room to enjoy our separate spaces (it was 5 of us) and the rooftop terrace was a perfect way to close out our long awesome days. Sitting up there at sunset was perfect. I highly recommend this property and would look forward to an opportunity to stay there again.

We loved the views and the rooftop patio of this unique property, which is on a side street and very quiet despite the crowds in town. The house is well stocked, however I feel there should be a note on the listing that there is no oven - only a stove and a microwave. Also, the check in process is clunky - being required to upload all travel docs while traveling is cumbersome, and the description of how to find the house and deal with parking was not quite clear enough. Overall, this was a great property for our group and is in a BEAUTIFUL setting - the views from the veranda and the bedrooms simply cannot be beat. Very small on living areas especially if those are being used for sleeping.

This apartment is wonderful! Spacious, thoughtfully set up, clean, and the views from every window are beautiful! The terrace is beyond! Huge view of the sea and Manarola with no obstructions. Absolute perfection! Thank you for providing such a nice place for us to stay.

Amazing views from rooftop terrace in a quaint Italian village. This condo was clean and had everything we needed. Only downside was lots of stairs! You need to make trip to Cinque Terre when you are young!

Pretty and charming, well equipped apartment with gorgeous view of the sea! A lengthy hike from the train station, but lovely location in picturesque Corniglia. Communication with the property manager was a bit frustrating as responses were delayed

This place was great for our family of 5 - my wife and I, and our kids ages 10, 8, and 3. All of the reviews that mention the terrace are accurate - it is mind blowing to stand up there and look out at the beautiful sea or the coast in the daytime, or the millions of stars at night. The stars were so clear at night you can see satellites passing over as they orbit the earth. The rest of the place was great as well - two very clean bathrooms, lots of air conditioning, and plenty of room for all of us to sleep great. You really have the town to yourself at night and early in the morning as well. The restaurants and ice cream shops are all open still, so you have all the amenities but you aren't dealing with crowds at these times. It does get crowded at midday, as all of the daytrippers start to show up mid-morning until late afternoon. A few things to keep in mind if you stay here - you cannot drive anywhere close to the property, so any luggage you have, you are rolling it or carrying it through the town to the place. I had a ton of luggage due to traveling through Italy with the kids, and I felt like the local townspeople were very entertained to see how many trips I had to make through the town looking like a pack mule. I had to park the rental car about a half a mile away from the town, and I was lucky to get the parking spot that I did. This was the adventure, and the reward was staying in this magical town. I would do it all over again to sit on this terrace. On checkout day, I discovered there is ONE one hour parking space right next to the town, and I was lucky enough to get it. This made getting all of our luggage back to the car much faster (including the fact that it was downhill this time). Regarding traveling to other villages, you have to either hike to Vernazza (the trail to Manarola is closed currently due to a landslide), or take the train. We didn't touch our rental car after we arrived because it makes no sense to try to drive to the other villages due to the terrain. The train station for Corniglia is down 380 steps, but you can take a small bus that runs from the village. If you are arriving in Corniglia by train, RUN to get on this bus as soon as the train stops. If you miss it, you are climbing 380 steps to the village. The bus also stops running at 830PM, so if you have dinner in another village, you will work it off by climbing 380 steps in order to get home for the night. Just stay. Eat on the terrace.

Gabriel was wonderful we communicated via text. We arrived a little early, they were still cleaning but let us in, so we hung out upstairs on the roof top deck which was my favorite place to be, we hung out there in the morning for coffee and before sunset for wine and cheese. As far as the rest of the house it was great for two couples, plenty of room it was almost like it was two separate 1 room apartments each with its own sitting room bathroom and bedroom. Wonderful stay would do it again cinque terre and corniglia was my favourite of the the 5 towns. We also stayed sometime in Lake Como but if I had to do over again I would spend all my time in cinque there. Amazing place loved everything about it the hiking, trains and boat.

Our family of four stayed for two nights in August 2019. The apartment is small, but has a lot of little rooms. As noted in other reviews, the roof deck is amazing, with fantastic views of the water. It was wonderful to sit up there. The host was easy to communicate with before we arrived, but was away on vacation when we stayed there and didn’t respond to emails when we couldn’t figure out how to work the stove. As noted, the apartment is a little difficult to get to, but that’s true of Cornigia generally. In our view, Corniglia is the most charming town in Cinque Terre, so it’s worth the challenge.

Beautiful View of the Ligurian Sea Coast
Wonderful stay with magnificent views. The town of Corniglia is great with nice breakfast at Cafe Matteo. We walked the trails North to Vernazza and Monterosso. Very challenging but wonderful views. Swimming at the beach in Monterosso was very nice, but watch out for small jelly fish. Party of 4; 2 couples. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Corniglia is wonderful and a welcome break after the crowds in the bigger villages. The AC in the house was a gift and the rooftop deck was a highlight each day! The owners were lovely and responsive to our questions. Loved it!

Great Location With Amazing Views From Rooftop Terrace.
We had an enjoyable time in the Cinque Terre with this home in the small, quiet town of Corniglia as our home base. The views from the rooftop Terrace were spectacular. Although there are adjacent terraces, you are literally about 50' from the edge of the cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Cornigilia is a beautiful little village and though it gets crowded during the day (while you are out exploring other parts of the Cinque Terre), it is quiet and peaceful at night, allowing you to enjoy a nice meal at one of several outdoor cafes and restaurants. Or, just sit up on the rooftop terrace and enjoy looking to the south towards the lights of Manarola while eating and drinking a glass of wine (or two).
The house, like all in Italy, was small but functional with a nice, well stocked kitchen and two bathrooms that were small but clean. Two of the bedrooms have beautiful views from the windows but one is awkwardly situated where you have to go through the third bedroom. (Again, homes in Italy are small and this worked out okay with our kids taking those two rooms.)
Communication with the manager was the only issue. I hadn't noticed until the day before our arrival that she had never sent us any information on where to go and how to get into the house. Once I contacted her though, she quickly responded with the information needed and when we arrived, we met up with Gabriel, who led us to the house and showed us the amenities. He was also more than helpful recommending places to eat and things to do.
Bottom line; it was a great experience and we would do it again!

Wonderful property! Such a treat to stay there!
We loved the property. The terrace was our favorite spot. We had planned to get to the apartment, change clothes and go get dinner. When we climbed to the top of the terrace, we just stayed - with a bottle of wine and some cheese. It was a beautiful spot to watch the sunset and then the stars.
I had read a review about the distance to the property and the stairs so we were prepared. There was NO way we could have taken our luggage all the way to the apartment - but that might be a factor of the size of our luggage. It really wasn't a problem. We planned to put what we needed for a few days in our backpacks and it was fine.
The apartment was comfortable and equipped.I would highly recommend this property..
