We enjoyed the unique experience in Tharas Houseboat.It was very amazing and unforgetable memories in our life.They were served delicious food , their hospitality was really good.Houseboat was anchoring very calm and quite place so we could sleep very well.We saw the sunrise on a hoseboat it was beautiful.Thank you so much your entire team of Tharas houseboat. We will highly recommend this property.

One of the best houseboat trip in kerala.We enjoyed authentic kerala style food was amazing . We were excited each moments in Tharas Houseboat, staff was very kindly people they explained the informations of backwaters and life of village area.We enjoyed a lot .

So glad we chose to book with Thara's Eco Boat rather than one of the larger boats with glass windows/air con etc. We felt much closer to nature and were only on the boat with 2 other people which made it a very relaxing experience. The staff on the boat could not have been more helpful. The food they cooked was lovely and there was no pressure to go for a massage or buy fresh fish as some other reviews suggest is the case on other boats. We had a great 2 nights on the boat visiting different back waters each day.

Small bed and no storage room, bathrooms need improvement, a bit more cleaner would be nice, missing instructions and information on boat trip and stops

We spent most of our time in the front of the cabin, eating at the table or enjoying the peace and quiet. There are many sizes of houseboats, some are like floating hotel rooms with AC, glass windows, and a restaurant. This is a eco houseboat, it runs on solar, so its very quiet, unlike the floating hotels with their loud generators & AC coolers whirring, or the little boats with their outboard motors, our boat made very little noise and the trip was very quiet. The room is small as is the bathroom, but it's on a boat, so it's understandable. I myself live in a bus so the small size for me is normal. The open windows & fan kept us comfortable at night and the boat did not rock while docked near the shore. There were no extra charges other than for beer. The food was excellent, among the same quality of the 5 star hotels we visited, and more than we could eat.

The living quarters I wish was larger, even with places to sit & lay, I found myself always searching for the perfect spot. Really not much of anything to mark as a negative. The houseboat was far cleaner than the other 5 our mates looked at the same day.
