We had booked a room at “Hotel Schwedenkrone” for one night for a family wedding celebration. The hotel’s page informed us that check in is open from 2pm to 9pm in a private message with booking.com chat and that we should get in contact on the day we arrive to receive a PIN code for a key box to get our room key. On the day we we messaged at 3.30pm to let the hotel know about our arrival and to get the PIN code. However, the hotel did not respond to our messages. At the entrance was a paper sign with a landline and mobile number but both were answered by voicemail. At 5pm we decided to leave without having been able to get into our room since we had a wedding celebration to go to. All evening I tried getting hold of someone but with no success. At 10pm I decided to book a last minute room at another hotel in Stade at my own expense. The next morning I finally got a response from the hotel on what’s app that said we should have contacted them before 3pm and hence it is our fault that we didn’t get into the room as booked. It is not only in contradiction to all the information that we received before, it is also incredulous how a hotel business can treat its paying customers like this. They did offer to refund the original price of the booking but after all I would never book here again

Einfacher Check In über einen Schlüsselsafe. Kleine gemütliche Zimmer. 2 Minuten von der Pension entfernt konnte man sich ein gutes Frühstück holen. Die Pension hat ihre Räumlichkeiten zum verweilen zur Verfügung gestellt. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Stade komme ich sehr gerne wieder.

das Zimmer in der Unterkunft, welches uns als erstes angeboten wurde. Wir haben dann ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, was so halbwegs unseren Erwartungen entsprch. Am Vorabend der Anreise wurden wir telefonisch darüber informiert, das es am Möntag kein Frühstück gibt, gebucht hatten wir bereits am 21.04.24 mit Frühstück gebucht.

Es war sehr unsauber. Bei drei Übernachtungen gab es keinen Zimmerservice.

Eine unkomplizierte An- und Abreise. Ruhige Lage.

Zu kleines Kissen und Bettdecke.

Well renovated, showerroom and seperate toilet, both ensuite. Restaurant available if you want to. Modern throughout. Excellent breakfast.

Distance to Altstadt Stade.No tea facility in the room. Vendingmachine available.
