Stayed for the month of February. Had a wonderful time. Location of unit is perfect. Walking distance to town, boardwalk, train and bus station, restaurants and bars. Host was very prompt in addressing any issues we had on arrival, and first few days. Hope to return.

Beautiful condo with large balcony overlooking the marina. Location was excellent.
Since we stayed one month a second set of sheets should be provided. There was a fireplace as advertised but not operational.
Although a beautiful balcony it didn’t get any sun.

Nothing better than to have a beautiful, clean apartment with a patio facing the marina with lounge chairs and seating for an evening meal while watching the sunset on the marina.
Being within an easy 10 - 15 minute walk to all the action in lower Lagos (and access to restaurants/bars 2 minutes away if needed) was also great. Many of the boat tours leave from this Marina too.
Best part: super quiet at night. Helped us recover from jet lag more quickly.
100% would return to this property!

This property was very nice, clean, impeccably decorated; modern appliances. The location was excellent to see not just Lagos but other parts of the Algarve. Restaurants, shopping, sightseeing all within walking distance. Highly recommend this property.

Stayed for a month, and was more than pleased with the apartment. Good communication with host, who I believe is in England, and the local contact, Marco, was excellent; he met us at the apartment and explained everything. Best location in Lagos, overlooking marina for boat trips and sunsets, but not above the many bars and restaurants, so quiet. Across the marina is the Marina Bar, our favorite place for happy hour and food, with great staff. Plenty of parking out front, at least in March. Great balcony that gets afternoon sun. Well equipped with top appliances (we were warned not to run too many electrical appliances at once, but we didn’t have an issue), good showers, kitchen equipment, and dishes. Should note that ‘dryer’ setting on washer is just a spin cycle, but 2 drying racks are included. Had good supplies to start-toilet tissue, dish soap, trash bags and some coffee, tea, and condiments-we bought paper towels, bath soap and shampoo. Pingo Doce grocery very close by, and more good restaurants in Lagos than you could get to in a month. ONDA bus pass (80 cents per trip) or train takes you to all of the local coastal and inland towns. Would love to stay again.

Wonderful Apartment in Brilliant Location
This is a really stunning, contemporary and spotlessly clean apartment with wonderful Marina views. It’s extremely spacious, bright & airy, very well equipped and will cater for all requirements, being ideal for couples or for families.
Close to the Marina Club, it’s within easy access to the beautiful Meia Praia beach, and only a short walk away from the centre of Lagos and its many and varied restaurants and attractions. Equally, it can be used as a base to tour further afield.
We stayed here for 4 weeks in February/March and it was the perfect antidote to the cold and miserable British winter.
On arrival, we were met by Marco, (who spoke perfect English,) and given a warm, friendly and informative Portuguese welcome. We didn't have much cause to use Marco's services, but when we did, he responded very quickly.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone wishing to get away from it all and who are simply looking for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Extremely frustrating - BEWARE before proceeding with this property owner
Our stay was fine. Nothing special about the property but nothing wrong with it either. Location is fine, although the Marina can get loud at night. Dealing with the owner, however, was extremely frustrating. Upon arriving at the property, I sat down on the sofa to discover that the cushion wasn't supported by the frame of the sofa - no noise to indicate damage having occurred. There was clearly some form of preexisting damage to the sofa. I immediately communicated with the property manager, both via text (the same day) and in person (the next day). After checking out, I received an email stating that my full damage deposit was not returned because I damaged the sofa. What? I clearly communicated that the damage existed when we arrived. I attempted to contact the owner - no response. I contacted the property manager - she told me that the owner told her that the sofa was 'fine before we arrived' so we must have damaged it. Seriously? If I damaged the sofa but wasn't willing to accept responsibility for it, why would I go out of my way to tell her and her property manager about the damage? I made multiple additional attempts to contact the owner - no response. Only after contacting VRBO customer service who then called the owner did I make contact. Then, she proceeded to yell and talk over me, telling me that the apartment was 'perfect' when we got there so we must have damaged the sofa. She was totally unwilling to have a calm conversation and VRBO was totally unable to help. All in all, this was an extremely frustrating situation to have to deal with. Again, I'd say be very careful before booking with this owner - I can understand a different of perspective on how damage was caused, but if you are going to rent properties to people you don't know, you have to be willing to talk thru a situation with them and (ideally) be willing to hear them out. I would have been totally comfortable with splitting the the deposit in order to bring this to a close, but to be ignored for 2+ weeks and then yelled at over the phone - that's simply not right.

Excellent location and lovely apartment
You couldn't ask for a better location than this spacious apartment. It overlooks the marina and is within easy walking distance of the old town, which means it is close to all the amenities but is still nice and peaceful. A technological mix up meant that the flat wasn't ready on our arrival, but the super-efficient Marcia rushed back and got everything perfect for us, while we enjoyed a leisurely drink on the quayside.
We managed a few runs on the beautiful sandy beach close by, which was just as well because we also did a fair bit of eating and drinking over our stay. There's a huge choice of restaurants to choose from - lots of lovely fish. We also enjoyed eating on the balcony a couple of evenings. There's a handy supermarket close by and plenty of crockery and glasses and also a nice touch of a supply of herbs and condiments etc.
I would recommend this apartment as an excellent base for a stay in the Algarve.

Fantastic location
Couldn’t ask for a better location, fantastic marina views, pool within minutes walk from apartment. Marina side bars and restaurants again a few minutes walk away and very reasonably priced, on average a pint of the local lager ‘Sagres’ €2.50 - €3.50, brilliant live music. The town is over the water via a footbridge, this takes approx 10 - 15 minutes walk where again you will find lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Beach within 10 minutes walk, no need for a car. Paula kindly organised our transfers from airport to apartment return, quick call to Marcia to advise arrival time, of which she met us and gave us a tour of accommodation. One thing we would like to point out is that upon arrival we were advised the 2nd double room didn’t have working air conditioning and they were waiting for this to be fixed. Marcia did provide a free standing fan in replace of this. On the last day the air con began to leak water in both the twin room and the living room. We did report this to both Marcia and the owner Paula who advised this is on going problem. This did not in any way spoil our holiday would definitely recommend.

stunning marina view and convenient location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lagos - our second stay in this apartment block (but not the same apartment) which is conveniently situated a short walk to a quality supermarket and some good restaurants & bars. It is also a level 10-15 mins walk to a beautiful long, clean beach with cafes, watersports & sunloungers to hire. The train terminus, bus station & taxi rank are all conveniently nearby. It is only a 10 minute walk into the bustling, historic & photogenic 'town' centre of Lagos with numerous excellent restaurants, cafes, bars, shops & the covered fish market with fruit, veg & other local produce stalls upstairs. The apartment itself provides a quiet place to stay and it overlooks the marina so there is always something interesting to watch whilst sitting on the balcony. We love the atmosphere of this resort and we find local people accommodating and friendly. The apartment has everything needed to provide a comfortable stay.

Loved the Marina location, close walk to bars, restarants and Old Town Lagos
The apartment was newly remodeled throughout. The kitchen was all new and was well equiped with everything you needed. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. It was nice to have a washer/dryer, and the balcony overlooking the marina was a big plus to enjoy the mornings and evenings. While close to bar’s and restaurants in two directions the apartment was situated such that it was very quiet and didn’t pick any of that noise. Since we traveled to Lagos by train it was nice to be able to walk only a short distance from the station to the apartment. All in all it was agreat place, I highly recommend it and would stay again without hestiation.

Great accomodation for 3 couples
We recently stayed in this lovely refurbished condo unit in Lagos and thoroughly enjoyed the space and location. It had everything that we needed for our four day stay, including passes to the marina swimming pool, a wonderful marina view and great proximity to both downtown Lagos and nearby beaches.
The layout of the condo was also excellent as all bedrooms had maximum separation which we appreciated for privacy. We spent many enjoyable hours eating, chatting and just sitting admiring the views on the spacious deck. We would certainly recommend this suite to others looking for similar accommodation.

Nice location, but very uncomfortable bed
It's a lovely location in a great town, but we were disappointed. Based on the reviews, we had expected a more comfortable place to stay. The beds have very hard, thin mattresses, and the pillows for the beds were essentially couch pillows.
That said, it's sunny apartment in a nice part of the marina, walking distance to everything. Easy parking. Lovely deck overlooking the water.

All around fantastic
The condo was in an excellent location for walking to town or to the beach with a gorgeous view of the harbor and nearby shops and restaurants. The unit was nicley updated, well appointed and very comfortable. Paula was very responsive. Would definetly rent this property again.

Gorgeous views
Gorgeous apartment, spotlessly clean & perfect location. We were greeted & shown around by Marcia who was so helpful throughout our stay, & easy to get hold of via text/phone.
If you haven't already paid a deposit before arriving, you are asked for €250 in cash upon arrival, which is then refunded when you return home. It may work out slightly cheaper to pay via bank transfer in pounds before you go if you're allowed to (ie we paid 250 euros, received £220 gbp back which is less than the exchange rate.)
The double bedroom just off the living room with the balcony is perfect. You wake up to the marina views and sounds. The air con in that room isn't as powerful as the other rooms, and is noisier so we left that off and left the bedroom door ajar at night as the front room unit is more than powerful enough to cool the whole apartment.
The kitchen is well equipped, loads of glasses/plates/bowls etc. All appliances are high quality and new. The pans could do with replacing though as they've warped, are not flat, & could easily damage the hob.
The apartment and balcony are larger than they look in the photos. Loads of room for a large family, or group of friends.
There's a bath in one of the bathrooms, and a powerful shower in the other so ideal for families with younger children too.
The beach towels in the cupboard were a really nice touch. Even though we took our own towels it meant we could go to the beach, then come back and use the pool, and have a shower afterwards without running out of clean towels.
The balcony really is huge and perfect to sit out on for dinner, coffee, glass of wine, any time really! The cheap white plastic table and chairs do seem somewhat out of place though as the rest of the apartment furniture is so modern and up to date.
The view over the marina is just spectacular .
The tv has all main english channels & radio stations.
We highly recommend a trip in a speedboad to the grottos! If you walk towards the fort,(past all the market stalls & the boat trip companies) just before the fort at the end of the run of water leading up to the marina entrance/bridge there's a company selling trips to the grottos on a speedboat for only €15 per person. Worked out so much cheaper than doing it on a big tour boat and we went into the caves!

Modern, spacious & brilliantly located marina apartment
Very high spec comfortable apartment conveniently located for marina bars and restaurants and only a short stroll from the old town. Marcia met us on arrival and dealt promptly with the queries we had, she's very helpful and friendly.
Apartment was spotless and pool is only a minute walk from the front door. Good sized pool with plenty of loungers.
We had a fantastic break and would highly recommend.

Awesome apartment with fabulous views.
Fabulously furnished property. Light bright and spacious. Warm welcome and help from Marcia. Great to have been able to access CBeebies for the children. Would love to use it again and highly recommend it for a stay. Immaculately clean and fresh. Excellent location.

fabulous apartment magnificent views
We were a party of 3 sisters age 50-60 who have just returned from this apartment. The inside has just been refurbished to a very high standard the walk in shower was fantastic plenty of hot water and very powerful. The apartment was spotless and the beds very comfortable. Pajla organised our taxi for us and they were there waiting on us when we got off the plane. Marcia was thereto greet us and she even offered to get us some shopping as we arrived late at night. In all we had a fabulous time here, views in the apartment are fabulous overlooking the marina. In all we had a fabulous time and would certainly go back and recommend to anyone. Bars and restaurants caused no problem to us and we favoured the Quay for food which was excellent staff so nice and friendly. Kate

A beautiful apartment overlooking Lagos Marina
Our whole family had a beautiful holiday in the apartment owned by Paula Matos. From the moment we stepped into the apartment until we left,a week later, everything went smoothly - it was obvious that our host Paula had ensured we would have no problems at all. The apartment was beautifully decked out - so clean and tidy with excellent views over Lagos marina and the town. We were fortunate that by 2 to 3pm the sun came onto our balcony which ensured we had glorious evenings spent drinking wine and enjoying the atmosphere of the place. The town is so convenient to the apartment too - within easy walking distance and as such there was no need to utilise transport at all. To sum up, a lovely holiday spent in a beautiful refurbished apartment - I have nothing but praise for the owner who from the very outset went out of her way to ensure that we were going to have a lovely holiday in her apartment in Lagos. Perfect apartment in the perfect location in the perfect town.
Love everything about it, very helpful and professional airport transfers, the person meeting and greeting gave us so many good tips on restaurants and best places to go. Apartment was very stylish with everything and more that we could wish for. Absolute spot on for location, best views of the Marina. Fantastic pool and amenities.
Was good to be so near station for exploring other places in the Algarve.
100% recommend it and already booking next holidays with my friends in September.

Superb location, lovely views, spacious apartment
This is an exceptional apartment, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The large balcony overlooks the marina, where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. An easy walk into the charming old town, with its bars and restaurants, and also to the beaches, makes this apartment an ideal one for families - no need for taxis or cars here! It is a large apartment, clean and comfortable, with homely touches. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it for a wonderful holiday.
