We enjoyed the east and west portions of the property, depending on where the sun was shining. It’s an outstanding location for two people. We were very comfortable and we loved our stay. Thank you very much.!!

Nice upscale neighborhood with noise rules . The view , even with some past fire devastation mixed with new green growth was beautiful . Sunset is a beautiful celebration worthy of a stay.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. Upon entry, we found warm, stale air with the thermostat at 90 degrees. The dusty fans caused allergies, and windows lacked proper sunshades. Despite an AC unit, Vacasa refused to fix it.
Cleanliness was appalling: a dead fly on the windowsill, musty blankets, broken window shades, and mystery stains. We got bites after the first night. Several lightbulbs were out, and spiderwebs were everywhere. We had to clean appliances and the shower was sticky. The fire extinguisher was non-compliant.
We suffered heat exhaustion and left early. Vacasa's scripted customer service was unhelpful, offering no real solutions or empathy. This cabin needs a deep clean and better management.

The home is great. It was clean and comfortable, great size for 2. My complaint is that the exterior photographs are old. They show beautiful green trees when in fact the Creek Fire came within yards of the property and burned the vegetation. Thank goodness the home was spared because it is a gem with a fabulous view.
We are from down south and didn't realize the fire devastated the area. It was rather depressing and not the relaxing, uplifting weekend i hoped for. For the price we paid i feel the photos should be updated so future guests can make their decision and not be surprised.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped, the view off the deck is excellent, and perhaps our favorite thing was how quiet this location is--nothing making noise but the wind and the birds. Very relaxing location!

Great location and clean.
Nice house with just about everything you'd need--except paper towels and toilet paper. Talked with property manager in morning to tell them and was told someone would come out with supplies. Called four hours later and was told by a different person that these things aren't part of the package. Not a big deal. Just wish we'd known before we arrived.

Nice little getaway
This was a nice private little home perfect for 2 people. Not as clean as I would have liked and the video camera pointed at the table on the deck was a little weird. Made it feel not quite so private. The house had almost everything we needed... there were no butter knives or dish towels. But we made due.

Perfect getaway
My wife and I stayed the weekend here in the middle of January 2020 and it was amazing. The cabin had everything we needed inside, all we needed to bring was food. The scenery was beautiful. I can’t think of anything negative to say. It truly was the perfect getaway.

...because it’s such a romantic getaway for two people I Don’t want others to know about it! The property is in such excellent condition, it’s so refreshing. Many beat up rentals in Shaver...this is not one of them. Loved it.

Romantic
I enjoyed this beautiful home. My husband and I stayed here for our 1st year anniversary and had a great time. The house is very clean and equipped with many reg household products such as pots, pans, mixing bowls, cooking spices ext. Wolfgang puck pans were great to cook in. The view was awesome and the shower felt soo good I never wanted to get out. The bed was comfortable and pillows felt so soft I had to write down the name. Very nice dishes and wine glasses. I even set a romantic table setting. We went down to Shaver lake Marina and Rented a boat and went fishing. I caught a bass so hubby was out fished. The only down side was our keyless entry stopped working and my husband and I got locked out of the house. There was no cell service and I had to walk 5min up hill to call Vacasa to let us in. But we were blessed to get an awesome agent on the phone who let us back in. She stayed on the phone with me all the way back to the house and my phone hung up on her , so I walked up the hill again and got a different agent who was also very nice. Once we got back in I seen that the awesome agent #1 left me a text massage inquiring on our well being, so I went back up the hill to call back and let them know we were in. My thighs needed the work out and for the wonderful weekend Vacasa gave us I would do it all over again and change nothing. We Loved it, great memories made and I definitely recommend the lovers lookout. Vacasa and awesome agent#1 and 2, thank you so much
