Th weather wasn't great ( not the resort's fault) but since it's apparently 1.5 hours from the town, there isn't much else to do.
The beach was fantastic, super clean water, swimming pool great as well.
All 3 restaurants were great and Calypso and the barman was the best fun!
I would like to say a special thank you to Nanang who went above and beyond to help me out. All the other staff were super friendly and helpful too.
The maintenance work started Monday when majory of people left, I know it needs to be done, but cutting grass all day is a bit too much for anyone..the pool bar was only open once in 5 days stay, sad really.
Prices for food and drinks are above Singapore cost and phone signal is not strong enough ( WiFi works well but I needed secured network for few days work)

The beach is nice
It is claimed to be in private area, so everything is charged a premium price, but for discounted quality, eg needed to pay for mineral water which costs S$5 cos a bottle cos the hotel gives free 600mL of water per adult per day only!
The food served at the restaurants in the hotel is sooo normal but same price as those in Singapore. We decided to go to other hotel to have dinner. And due to the private area part, no grab was available, so again have to pay S$30+ for a 10 mins taxi ride.
Worst is the hotel room is so smelly! Smell like rotten vegetables.. the building and furniture is so old.. and it is soo humid in the room despite the aircon is on…

Standards are high. Staff very efficient, friendly and genuine.
Just need to have a few shaded tables with chairs at pool for older guests who are unable to use low deck chairs. No railing at pool steps.

The resort was self contained. You had everything you needed there. Just stay and enjoy.

We loved the beach and the pool. The staff were wonderful. Awesome weekend getaway!!
We weren't the biggest fan of the food options. Nothing grilled...even though there was fresh awesome seafood. The menu was a little unfortunate.

There were a few things that could be improved: restaurant options were limited, wifi was really slow, shower drainage wasn’t working well, staff were really pleasant and happy but they could be a little more switched on and quicker (certain folks weren’t sure of what they were doing, and getting things like a beer or a cocktail took a really long time at some bars)

Great private beach! Sand was clean and really love the long walks by the beach. Food was tasty though a tad pricey. Staff could speak English well and were friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the beds...nice and firm mattress

Beach is rock at low tide and not really swimmable at high . However above the high water sand is white and clean

Pool bar shuts down very early,an hour before sunset with 10 people still trying to buy food or drinks.
Cant access pool or gym before 7 am
No or very limited seating in lobby
Food and drinks prices very very expensive for standard of hotel and quality of facility.

Old style large rooms, very clean. Staff were great and there are lots of activities if you’re interested ! It had a relaxed and friendly vibe, very low key which was great for relaxation.
Facilities are a little old and tired- due for a refresh. Breakfast buffet needed more variety.
More pool lounges would have been good too.

Nothing really, altho' the beach could be cleaned up a bit. There's no point in sweeping the seaweed off the beach if all the plastic bottles, etc is allowed to wash in on the tide every day, and remain on the beach when the tide recedes.

The beach has been spoilt by oil tar and plastic. We understand it is not the hotels fault however they could clean the beach and dispose of the waste in a more constructed way.
It is such a shame that a buitiful beach has been damaged and spoilt.
