We enjoyed the cabin during our stay. It was quiet, peaceful and roomy. Enough space for a large family.

We loved the location, the sunset view from the deck and the game room! The oven and stove didn’t work, we couldn’t make our eggs for breakfast. Luckily they had a toaster oven so we could at least cook our garlic bread or toast. The internet was terrible, we couldn’t even use it.

The indoors was clean however there were ants in the kitchen around the trash can. Outside in the front does need a little maintenance there's lots of weeds.

My family love staying here, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, there was plenty of room for everyone. My kids loved the game room, but there were only 2 pool sticks and both were in really bad shape, but we made do. The only real problem I had was there was supposed to be access to the garage for parking, but the opener couldn't be found anywhere. Overall we gad an excellent stay and loved having a white Christmas. I would/will recommend this home to my friends and family.

Christmas at the Carriage House
My family love staying here, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, there was plenty of room for everyone. My kids loved the game room, but there were only 2 pool sticks and both were in really bad shape, but we made do. The only real problem I had was there was supposed to be access to the garage for parking, but the opener couldn't be found anywhere. Overall we gad an excellent stay and loved having a white Christmas. I would/will recommend this home to my friends and family.

Amazing sunsets
The house was very clean and the location was amazing - The kids room is great with bunk beds and there is pool table and lots of games - Great hikes nearby . the lake is very close

Cottage House, Shaver Lake
It is a nice house but very worn, especially for the price per night. A lot of ants in numerous rooms. No AC, no complete window covering to keep sun out of major gathering rooms. Great game room and sleeping arrangements for the kids. Nice weekend!

Bugs and mice
There were ants, ant traps and mouse traps place everywhere in the home. with younger kids, this did not seem safe.

Great location
This cabin is in a great location. The views are beautiful (minus the burnt trees). The cabin itself is spacious with lots of beds however all of the beds are as hard as a rock! I felt that there should have been rugs at the doors to wipe our feet upon coming inside from the snow & dirt. Also the upstairs deck should have been cleared of the snow so that we could more easily enjoy being out there. Over all we had a great time and enjoyed the stay.

Great location, but needs a few fixes.
The location is great. just minutes from the lake, and the house is nice and spacious -- we really enjoyed our stay. But, the wifi doesn't work and there is virtually no cell service -- this made it really hard to coordinate with others in our group...no one could make a phone call or visit websites while at the house (we had to go into town to get cell service). Also, the pictures make it look as if there is a working game room and the teenagers in our group were looking forward to hanging out there in the evenings. However, there were no balls for the pool table or the foosball table, which made the game room completely useless.

Summer Vacation
We had a great time at this property. We we disappointed in the cleanliness, the rug needed a good vacuuming and our socks were dirty before we had even unpacked our items from the wood floors. Bathrooms could have had a little more attention too. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Carriage House 2019
We loved the house, plenty of room for all of us. We had a blast celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. The kids climbed the rocks morning and night exploring, played games and danced. We loved the experience.

Great Cabin, beautiful sunsets.
It was perfect for our family. Clean, big and the tub! We had a relaxing time playing pool, hiking, kayaking and grilling all weekend.

• No ball for the foosball table
• Fire alarm chirping at 4AM at the top of the stairs
• Not fixing chirping fire alarm when they said they would
• Coffee machine was broken
• The fridge takes hours to bring down to 37 degrees
• You can't use the A/C and the house gets hot
• Little to no hot water
Overall, it was a good stay. There are some things that aren't cool, like the fridge and A/C, ha. These are normal expectations that guests are entitled to when paying top dollar to rent a house. I hope they make note of this for future guests.

Don't rent here
The owners have the A.C. locked up, and a note on the refrigerator saying it must be on the lowest setting or it will stop working. If your up to sweating and ruined food in the refrigerator this homes for you. It's so sad. Beautiful home, owned by misers. I paid over $1400.00 for 2 days. And during the day the house was miserably hot, and most of our food was ruined. We ended up using our ice chest on day 2. Shame on these owners.

We rented the cabin for 8. Plenty of space and areas to gather around. The game room is awesome. The pool sticks and foosball table could use some cosmetic touch ups but still fun nonetheless.

Great experience!
We spent a weekend here with my husband’s family, we had so much fun. The cabin was so comfy, there was plenty of room to relax. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely come again!

Perfect Snowy Weekend
We rented this cabin for my birthday weekend. There was a winter snow storm brewing requiring tire chains/cables. It was a beautiful winter wonderland. Would have liked better instructions on when the snow plow would arrive, as we are not used to snow and don’t know the customs. The house was perfect for our group of 12. Loved the open living room, dining room and kitchen layout which is where we mostly hung out. Beds felt a little stiff than preferred, but we all slept well. Would definitely book this cabin again!

Amazing
We had 6 adults and 5 children and the house was perfect - beds comfortable and game room fun for the everyone. One concern was the stairs which are very steep with no way to prevent little ones from using them. Baby gates didn't reach. Our second concern was that there were no screens on the sliding doors so when closed to keep out insects, there was no ventilation and the cabin got very warm. The kitchen was very well stocked. The rock area behind the Carriage House provided great entertainment and exercise and the sunsets were amazing.
