My family had an amazing stay at the bluff House. The hosts were lovely and absolutely everything we needed was there at the house. They even accommodated a special request for a kitchen item.
Would definitely recommend this property for a quiet getaway.

My husband I and stayed here, along with my sister and brother-in-law. We all had a fantastic time. The view was amazing, and the house was the perfect size for the four of us. We were located about 20 minutes or less to all the things we wanted to do.

Truly exceptional hosts-- many are purported to be but Ben and Tori are the real deal.
The property is stunning and the view is remarkable. House is well decorated, comfy, and offers all the amenities you need. Excellent place to just "get away" if you're a couple but could also easily accommodate a large family or group.
Be sure to visit Foster Falls to swim, Blue Chair Bakery for great coffee and breakfast, and across the street there's Lunch (that's the name, lunch only!).

We absolutely enjoyed the bluff house! It had the best views as advertised. So much nature around to enjoy and hike the fiery gizzard waterfalls 😍
Tori and Ben were a delight and we appreciate their suggestions and help while visiting.
We can’t wait to book for next year, too!

This place is fantastic. There were 4 adults staying here. It is incredibly clean and feels like home. The kitchen and living room were so spacious and comfortable. The hosts were so personable. They answered immediately whenever we reached out to them. We can't say enough good things about staying there.

The pictures posted don’t do justice! The view was breathtaking. We enjoyed our quiet evenings outside by the fire pit watching the sun go down. We enjoyed hearing the history of the house from Tori. This is a beautiful family home that has been well loved. They’ve made some really nice updates but kept the house warm and cozy. We would definitely stay here again.

It was even better than we expected! View was awesome. The bed was insanely comfy. We enjoyed soaking in the clawfoot tubs. ( both baths have them, so if you have mobility issue, this may be difficult ). Kitchen had everything we needed including a coffee and tea bar with an electric kettle, and a box of assorted teas. We most definitely would like to come back with friends! Plenty of gorgeous hiking to do. Host lives within minutes and even brought us some outdoor chairs that were nice for sipping coffee and enjoying the peaceful view. 100%recommend!

We loved our stay! The house is comfy, well-equipped, and unique. The view is awesome, and the place feels secluded while also being close to everything in Monteagle and Sewanee. We’ll definitely be back!

The BEST Experience!
MORE than the comforts of home, with a million-dollar view. Spotless, renovated rental with character. Cushy beds, pillows. Generous w/ supplies. Lots of land - very quiet, peaceful, and private. Upscale bluff homes on large lots, at a distance. Most considerate, helpful & respectful hosts, ever. One tiny problem fixed immediately. You can’t go wrong w/ this rental.

Relax
We choose to stay in the mountains after a strenuous baseball tournament in Atlanta. The house was perfect, the view was spectacular and tons of things to do all around. Will definitely return.

Great house with amazing view! Children welcome, but may be hard with instructions for them to not climb on things and whatnot. Constant fear of breaking anything at all. (Which thankfully we didn’t, but we were paranoid the whole time) outside of that, the property was pretty amazing as you want to spend most of the time outside looking at the view! We hope to stay here again! Far enough away to things for some peace and quiet but close enough to do almost anything you want to do! Highly recommend this property!

Great experience!
Beautiful place to stay and a neat story that goes with it! Pictures don't quite do it justice. Ben and Tori were great hosts, very welcoming and very responsive. Would stay here again if in the area!

Extremely comfortable communal space. Kitchen was well-equipped and spacious. Beds rooms were also comfortable. Would recommend.

Perfect Getaway
Absolutely beautiful house and an even more amazing view looking out over the mountains. Everything was as described in the listing. The house is very cozy and comfortable, especially with the fireplace going. Communication with the owners was flawless, friendly and prompt. House was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We LOVED our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. Hope to come again soon. Highly recommended...especially for a peaceful, romantic getaway!

This property was perfect for our group of six, which included two kids age 3 and 13. A beautiful view off the master bedroom and den looks the same as it must have 200 years ago. Kitchen utensils were plentiful. Renovations were unique and nice. We recommend for families.
