After a day of hiking, we got such a warm welcome; the fire was lit, our coats were taken to hang and the room was so warm. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, everything was spotless, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Loughdan was very well signposted and very accessible. The house was very comfortable with wonderful views from the bedroom windows. I was very impressed with the eco- press button shower - plenty of hot water but encouraging mindful water usage. Theresa cooked a wonderful full Irish and absolutely perfectl in advance of a day's walking. Beautifully situated - Lough Dan is a real find set in the heart of the fabulous Wicklow countryside. I would highly recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Special location in heart of nature.Wellcoming and very nice host ,who gave us very helpfull info.Nice Irish Breakfast.Beautifull hand made wooden pieces of furniture.Special atmosphere ,country dtyle, in the whole house.

The host was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

This place was in the middle of nowhere. The room was supposed to be a Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Mountain View. What we had was a small room with three single beds and not much of a view at all (see photo's). The room was very badly finished (see photo's), and apart from lamps was completely unadorned. No wardrobe or cupboard just three coat hangers on the wall. Take your own entertainment as there was no TV. The only mirror was in the bathroom which you have to bend down to see in, and be careful when you stand up from the toilet in case you bang your head. Definitely overpriced and would NOT stay there again…. Ever…. PS : we were in room number 8.

Restful vacation stay. The nearby country walk was fabulous. Theresa was very good host. She greeted us everytime we entered and gave helpful suggestions on the best way to hike in Glenalough. Good suggestions that were spot on. Breakfast was in a nice bright room and food was so good.

Beautiful location if you're a walker it's definitely a spot worth a visit. I'm not
