Just perfect! The hostess is very friendly, the rooms are in her house so everything is very homey. And since the rooms are part of the home everything (rooms/corridor/bathromm/place to eat in the kitchen if you book breakfast) is as clean as a home as well as it is well furnished and just all over nice! Nothing feels (is) cheap or loveless as you'll find it usually in hostels with many rooms or cheap hotels (because this accomodations is on top of everything very affordable). I was just so happy to be there. I also booked the breakfast and it was really good with everything you could wish for :-) Thank you so much Helene! oh - and it's a very convenient location: many things to visit (Palaces, Castles, Museums, Parks) nearby (20-30 min drive) and a lot of beautiful nature: ocean, lakes, forest plus if I recall right a nature reserve for walks or bike rides.

The only regret I have is, that I couldn't stay longer!

Cosy and clean accommodation. The location is great as it’s only 3 steps away from Arresø lake (beautiful sunset and calm, quiet surroundings). We really enjoyed the nice breakfast with relaxing lake view in the morning. Helene’s hospitality made our experience even greater ☺️

The place was nice and clean, and the host was very kind! For 50dkk extra I got really nice breakfast with some nice conversations and a lovely view of the garden. Great value for money!

The house is very cozy and in front of Arresø, a beautiful lake surrounded by nature and farms with a lot of animals (horses, cows, sheeps and so on), so it is really interesting to walk around the hood. The single room is tiny but comfy and there's also another room with 3-4 beds. All the house is very clean, including the bathroom and the kitchen. Helene is a wonderful host, providing everything you need and being very kind. You can reach the B&B in 15 mins from Helsinge station, taking the 320R bus direction Frederikssund st, and the bus stop (Bækkegårdsvej) is just 5 mins walking from the house.

The bus to reach the house runs only every 30 or 60 mins, depending on the time of the day and the day of the week.
