Without question, the best experience I’ve had on VRBO. The attentiveness from the minute I booked, the kindness of the owner (stocks you with fresh local food), and the beauty of the property (exceeds even the pictures) make this the first property we’ve rented that, upon leaving, we all committed to coming back.

We spent five nights at this house and it was great! You are right above the beach so can walk down easily. There is a beautiful trail along the cliffs just outside of the house that goes for a few miles - great for walking or running. Two great restaurants right on the beach. We took the bus into old town Lagos once and otherwise were able to use Ubers - can walk about 1.2 miles into town on the road or a bit longer on the cliff trail. The property is clean, host was kind and pool was great: would definitely stay here again!!

We had a fabulous stay in Lagos at this beautiful home. The views were breath taking, and the accomodations perfect. It was absolutely stunning. Our kids (3-9 years old) loved the pool, and we walked down to the beach daily. The home was clean, inviting, and they even provided some (well enjoyed) snacks for our arrival. We would love to return at some point, and enjoy again. We cannot say enough great things! Thank you again for hosting us!

Our family of 5 had a great stay- location is great, house is very nice, there are many more bathrooms than as indicated in the listing. We did have some ants in 1 bathroom but I think that’s par for the course in the region. Check in/out was very easy- would recommend.

Villa is in a great location with 5 minutes walk to a beautiful beach and 2 excellent restaurants. A 45 minute beautiful cliff walk to the lighthouse. A 1 hour walk to Lagos town with a good bus service. The villa itself we found excellent. Fabulous breakfast views from the balcony. Walk out of the bedroom for a swim in the heated pool.

Wonderful house right on the beach. The location is perfect- you feel very comfortable in this house! We didn't want to go home and are looking forward to our next visit :-)

This place was incredible. The check-in was easy and friendly. The house was gorgeous! The best part was the view from your own private relaxing pool. You could watch all the other people trek down to the beach while you swam in the sunshine or had a glass of wine on the porch. There is parking, a kind welcome gift (food), the house manager is always available and helpful, it is the ideal location, and the home was super comfortable and beautiful. Couldnt be better!

This is one of the few places I’ve stayed where the photos actually understate the beauty, accessibility, and general sophistication of this house. Located in the posh area of Lagos, it is maybe 100 yards max from the beach to the front door. Pool is just so refreshing and clean, and the deck chairs are super comfy. Small details like very plush towels and excellent tableware and utilities make for a stress free, luxurious experience. Super close to Old Town Lagos (not walkable but a very short $4-8 taxi/Bolt/Uber). Definitely and highly recommend staying here you won’t regret it!

Very nice property with private pool, views of the ocean and less than 5 minute walk down a hill to the beach. Six adults in our group and we had plenty of space inside and outside. Parking for one car in the gated unit, additional street parking is a short walk. Small problem with wifi was immediately corrected by responsive property manager. There are some beach toys and umbrellas, it would’ve been nice if they provided beach towels since they’re too bulky to bring in luggage. All in all a great place for holiday away from the crowded areas of Lagos.

Beautiful villa in a great location. Fabulous views and a short walk to a very good beach. A very relaxing week with 6 adults. One or two small issues such as lack of enough towels etc. were quickly sorted by local agent. Would recommend

We wanted to do it all in Portugal: hiking, kayaking, the works. This place is perfectly situated to do all of that. But that is not the best part. The best part is the quality of the accommodations and the view from the poolside. You can't go wrong with this rental.

We were two families travelling together, and there was loads of space for everyone. The place is very well looked after, clean and modern, and everything we needed was supplied. Communication was fantastic, both in leading up to our stay, and then a personal welcome, explanation of the home, and welcome treats provided. We couldn’t have been happier with this.The location is brilliant. The beach at Porto de Mos is gorgeous, and is served by some lovely restaurants. It’s a short drive to Lagos town. Very highly recommend, and would absolutely love to stay again.

Terrific location in Lagos: walking distance to the beach as well as two beach bars/restaurants while only a quick drive to the old town and highway to access other attractions in the Algarves. The house was as pictured, providing wonderful ocean views, an infinity pool and spacious bedrooms. I would 100% recommend.

The home was everything we expected and more! Location was wonderful, house was great and Julie was lovely!

We stayed in the house with 6 adults, family (parents and kids with their spouses). We all had a great time. The pool is wonderful as well as the view. Beds are perfect and balcony at night beautiful! We vertainly come back!!

We had a wonderful time at this property! It is even better than the pictures. Perfect location, clean, easy check in and out. Manager of the site was responsive. Great restaurants with in walking distance. Grocery store 5 minute drive. The instruction manual for the villa was the best we have ever seen in all the properties we have rented. Only down side was the TV in the primary bedroom did not work for renters only for owners. If we return to the Algarve we will rent again.

This Porto de Mos house is an amazing place to stay. It is huge, modern, beautifully furnished, has spectacular views - and with all that said, it is somewhat surprising that the owner would share it with vacationers. But she graciously does. Communication was easy both with the booking process and with Julie who does the meet and greet to familiarize one with the ins and outs of the house. We four adults were very comfortable, and there is room for a larger group. Pools/beach toys are also provided if there are guests with children. The kitchen is well supplied and is larger than it appears in the photos. All in all, this house well deserves it many 5* ratings. ps: I don't want to forget mentioning the inviting heated infinity pool. A true delight

The property is beautiful with gorgeous views. The photos appear that you are right on the water, but there is a dirt parking lot for the beach between you and the ocean. Nevertheless, breathtaking ocean views. Lovely house, very comfortable. Great spaces indoors and out. Easy parking both within the gate and on the street for extra cars. Our only complaint is for the management company: there were zero provisions. No coffee, tea, soap, pool towels, nothing whatsoever. Even the toilet paper was rationed: 2 rolls per bathroom. I don't know if this was a covid issue, but no other property we visited had thisl lack of provisions. This should be communicated in advance so renters can prepare. Also, the coffee maker is an unusual one requiring ground or harder to locate pods. 5 stars for the house. Lost a star for the provisions. We would stay again.

We stayed here for a week in July 2021 (4 adults). The location is amazing - right in front of Porto de Mos. Would highly recommend this villa due to facilities (modern), nice infinity pool with views overlooking the ocean, accessibility to the beach and amenities. Definitely eat at Campimar and O Antonio.

The apartment is really great. All three couples had a great time and the bedrooms are all very similar, yet the master bedroom has its own bath. The house is super spacious and you can really just spend a week just within the property and just hang out at the pool. Lagos and especially the beach in front of the apartment are great. Really recommend the place for a stay. Only few things I would consider when being there: The isolation of the balcony is pretty poor, so if you want to sleep while somebody else is enjoying the balcony you will hear the movement of the chairs a lot. The water pressure on 2 of the three bathrooms is pretty bad, so girls washing their hair a lot will not be too happy I guess. Also the Tuner for the sound system is broke, so you need to bring your own box to listen to some music while enjoying the beautiful view. The fridge is kinda small for 6 people and always running up and down to have some ice cold drinks at the pool is a bit annoying, but these are first world problems. So this place is great and we will be back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Porto de Mos, the villa is stunning and has amazing sea views. We found the villa location was great, having a few great restaurants nearby (especially Amorizade), with a short walk to town for even more choice. The villa was pretty well equipped, but would have liked a few more cooking trays etc, but generally very good. We had some challenges upon arrival due to some mis-communication, but Julie was very quick to get the issue resolved and we were in the villa before we knew it. We'll definitely look to stay here again if we're ever back in the area. Thanks!

Our family loved this property! We greatly appreciated the modern architecture and the location was perfect for walks on the beach, surfing and short distance hikes. The views are truly fabulous. The close proximity to shopping and exceptional restaurants was A+. The owner and property manager(s) were so very helpful even on Christmas Eve! It was the perfect combination for an amazing holiday in the Algarve! Thank you Sieste (owner) and Cami and Julie (property managers)! I highly recommend this property!

Brilliant location with fabulous views.Pool was amazing and was well worth paying to heat it.Only downside was not being allowed to open the door from the kitchen to the BBQ area. Otherwise fabulous all round.
