Every thing was good. But no air conditioner. Room was warm

Using google to find the location at first is a bit confusing but when we walk after, we find it easy.It can be consider as it is in the almost centerpoint of all tourist spots that we went.

We dont dislike the hostel itself but the lack of accessibility of the town to the next town like us who don't drive.

Bunk beds instead of single beds advertised. Bad uncomfortable mattress. No WiFi.

There is NOTHING to recommend

This place is a fraud and should never be advertised as it is. One should opt for any other accommodation than this at all cost. We booked a "Superior DOUBLE or twin room with City View". The term "Superior" suggest more than a minimum standard of accommodation, but the actual room is a dirty den. This is plainly a sub-standard place. The room is like a dirty prison cell, with no single table, chair, a chest, wardrobe etc. where you could place your bag, clothes etc. or sit down. There are just two bare beds. What is described as "room with City View" has only a narrow opening in the outer wall which can hardly be described as "window" - its height is approx.23 cm. It is NOT a proper window - just a thin hole in the wall. There is no double bed, as advertised ("double room"), but two simple uncomfortable beds, or rather berths. I explicitly asked the owner at the moment of booking (bin a direct message to him) for a DOUBLE room. However, on arrival the owner has informed me (by phone via the receptionist) that there are NO double beds in his hostel. It means that announcing a "double room" by him is a straight lie. The room is crammed, there are no hangers closet or shelves to put your clothes and cosmetics on - there is just dirty floor to place things on. When I asked the owner to cancel the reservation (on the phone) because the room does not correspond to the description online, he became extremely rude and impolite and refused to cancel the reservation. The place literally stinks inside when you enter the lobby. Also there isa very strong toilet stench in the room - it is coming from the toilet. Also our room stinks. It is very dirty - it seems nobody has cleaned the room properly for months or years. There is no bath soap or bath gel. The bathroom is covered with fungus and nobody seems to ever clean it. The floor in the room is dirty, too.

The room smelled a little bit of moisture. It might be solved if it is ventilated properly. Stairs are too steep but this is nothing the property can do about: it's an old building. Just take it into account in case you travel with heavy luggage or have mobility problems.

The location was very good and the staff was exceptional. From the hostel you could reach the city centre in 5-10 minutes on foot. Also the staff was very welcoming and helpful. There was a problem with my room being ready for checking-in and without any doubt they offered solutions from their side.

The facilities and the cleanliness could have been much better. The bathroom often seemed dirty (clocked showers, people not cleaning the toilets after using them). Also there were very few power outlets in the rooms so it could get difficult charging your devices.

Very clean, good bedmats and the receptionist was very kind and helpful.

We.bought a bottle of water and put it into the common fridge. It was taken by another guest but this was not the fault of the hostel, of course.

Good room and staff was helpful and friendly.

Something that I'm sure was not completely in their control but having two guest bang the door down at 2am because they lost their key. It ruined our sleep since there was noone there to do anything about it until I called hostel's main number for help. Perhaps have a cámara or alert connected with noise control?

Nice stuff and super location

The facility is very nice - they have a good kitchen... and a piano in the reception 😊

Close to the centre, nice traditional old house.

A lot of noise from the bar downstairs but it was hot so I had to have the windows open. Private bathroom was basic (no mirror, no hot water in basin) and smells of drains. Breakfast is also basic but better than nothing. Bed was comfy and towel was quite new.
