I lake the location and the staff was realy nice.
Sometimes, the smell from the kitchen came inside the room. The mosquitoes killed us. But they are all over the place in Italy.

the location is really good, you have the boat right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is also good. The staff is very nice. The towels are enormous 😍 I would definitely stay again.

I had been here once before for lunch, and had one of the best meals ever (and as a journalist I've dined with and interviewed Alain Ducasse, Thomas Keller, Julia Childs, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Ferran Adria, Jose Andres, etc.) So I went out of my way to return to the Antica Dogana, this time to stay in one of the guest rooms and enjoy a wonderful dinner, of fresh fish and pasta, sitting by the water with the Venetian Lagoon spread out before me. This might well become my annual treat to myself, it's a real find, with the nicest owners in the business, which makes for a lovely bonus.
The guest room was attractive, clean and comfortable, with a wood-beamed ceiling. It's not ultra-luxury, but a fine place to spend a night or two and eat your heart out.

Nice clean room, nice view from the room with lovely sunset. Bus and boat stop next to lodging, but quiet at night.
This seems to be more like a very fancy restaurant that also have a few rooms to let, The restaurant is very popular and it is full every evening and also popular at lunchtime. The negative consequense for hotel guests is that there are no common room or any outdoor space that guests can relax, either you have to spend time in your room or spend time and a lot of money in the restaurant. And as a guest you can’t even decide when you want to have dinner, which came as a surprise, the staff said you had to eat 7.30 pm, okey by us , but they should let their hotel guests decide……..And the mosquitos is a real annoyance in the lagoon

Kind and helpful staff members. Elegant design. Clean and nice rooms. First class breakfast. The restaurant for dinner is a must, we had our best dinner here during our 1 week trip!
