We had a very nice room in a great location for our short visit to Montpellier, with a friendly and helpful host.

The location is absolutely perfect if you are visiting Montpellier by train because the train station is so close. Nevertheless, it is very calm. Michel is super friendly and we were even able to check-in early. The breakfast had everything we needed and the bathroom was very clean. It was also interesting to talk to Michel and learning a lot about France - thank you! :) We definitely recommend this place!

Michel is a great host, he really looks after you. He offers home made delicious marmalade in the breakfast. The breakfast was so generous. Thank you for great hospitality Michel.

Michel has a lovely garden that looks like he is putting quite an effort into. He is very kind and helpful when it comes to parking the car in a safe garage and helping us orientate ourself in the city. Michel also provides a very delicious breakfast with self-made jam (made of oranges he grows in his own garden).

Michael is a very friendly and accommodating host who made sure that our extended stay was pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast consisted of assorted breads and rolls, coffee, tea, fruit juices and fresh fruits. The bathroom and shower, which are shared by the guests in three rooms, were conveniently located, modern and clean. Garaged parking is available at an extra charge, as street parking is hard to come by. The property features a lovely garden, though it is located in the heart of the city. There are plenty of quality restaurants within walking distance.

The room was a bit small for three people. No television available. Street parking extremely limited. The lighting in the room was a bit understated, as the shutters on the windows are kept closed during cold weather months. However the heating of the room was very good.

Chez Michel is super clean and very comfortable. There are only 3 rooms at this B&B. The continental breakfast was lovely and Michel is even lovelier. He is chatty and friendly and grew up in Montpellier so you can ask him anything about the city. It is located on the quiet side of the train station but not far to walk over to old part of the city. Definitely recommended. All rooms are on the ground floor so only about 3 steps to contend with, or about 5 if you're coming in through the garden.
