The staff at the cafe was amazing. They were super friendly and helpful.
The actual reception staff could have been more visible.

The cafeteria inside the Hacienda el Jibarito in terms of breakfast , it was way too expensive. My husband and I almost paid $40.00 for omelets, coffee and bread. We never went back because of the high cost in the Hacienda el Jibarito cafeteria. We had to travel outside the Hacienda and it was a long distance drive about 40 minutes to the nearest restaurant or fast food place.
The food was too expensive and there were no restaurants near Hacienda El Jibarito. We had to travel more than 40 minutes to reach the nearest restaurant. Our budget was spended in more gasoline than what we expected.

Interesting decor. Felt authentic
I found everything about this place all a bit disinterested. There was nobody manning the desk when I arrived. The restaurant on site closed at 5pm. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee, or cups & not even a glass or cup for water. There was a waterproof mattress cover which made sleep difficult due to heat/sound/discomfort. I actually regretted spending my money here rather than some of the other fantastic places I had stayed where the hosts were bending over backwards to make the stay comfortable. Disappointing as it was my last night after 3 weeks in Puerto Rico & did not represent everywhere & everyone else I had experienced here.

Ok but too noisy at night to relax and bedroom not cozy, lack of working desk in room.

beautiful view friendly atmosphere the Villa we had was amazing completely beautiful inside exceptional service the restaurants are great and the chai tea was amazing!!!! The little pond was a delightful add to the villa the antiques museum was and unexpected add on which also gave us a great history on much of the life of people and their form of work.. all in all “Ding Dong Baby Ding Don!!”
the windows could use a mesh or screen to protect against the mosquitoes 🥹🥹🥹

Love the villas. A while new experience. Definitely a family bonding.
The travel to it was a bit confusing. It will be nice to have maybe signs along the way to help with location.

Being in the country was awesome & quiet. The villa was lovey & spacious.
We left 1 day earlier because we were not informed that everything was closed, except the pool, because of COVID. It was inconvenient driving 20-25 minutes, at least twice a day to get a meal plus the rooms & AC needed some deeper cleaning for dust.

The place looks good
The villa has uneven floor everything is kind of downhill to one side, the toilet didn’t work but the staff repaired it the same day. The cleaning is not their fortress, bed blanket set was used and dirty, and at night there no one to help you, so sleep that night wasn’t good. Beds are uneven too cause of the floor and gave me a nice backache the second day. There’s is and almond tree near the villa and is dropping almond all the night to the roof and sounds like rocks hitting. We came to rest and have family time together but the stay mess the things up.
