My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I very much enjoyed our late June week in this comfortable and very well appointed house in the Berkshires. Although the heat wave kept us from some of the outdoor activities we had intended to do, the house and grounds offered unexpected pleasures, including amazingly high-end kitchen equipment, a deeply shaded patio in a woodsy back yard, and a basement recreation room where we could beat the heat. AC and ceiling fans were much appreciated. In the cool of the morning we could walk in the beautiful hilly suburban development where the house is located. A most relaxing place to spend time with adult family members during a heat wave!

We have stayed at Noriko and Dale's Great Barrington kuse for the past 5 winters. First....Noriko and Dale are excellent hosts....the house was always clean, always in good repair and they were incredibly easy to communicate with. We typically stayed for 12 weeks stints during ski season to race in the local TriState Junior skiing league and the house could not be more perfect for this. 7 minutes to Butternut, 13 minutes to Catamount, 45 minutes to Jiminy Peak and 50 minutes to Berkshire East. It is the perfect spot for Berkshires skiing. The house itself is a great base of operations for an avid ski family. with three bedrooms it is roomy and offers everyone some privacy. The main living room upstairs is comfortably furnished and the fireplace is fantastic. We have spent many evenings in front of that hearth warming up after a long day of skiing. The kitchen is well equipped and was a real help to us as we cooked a lot and entertained other ski families for apres ski. The downstairs area is perfect with its own bathroom, a pool table and large sectional couch and large screen TV. I often worked during the ski season from the house and the internet connection is solid for conference calls and the kids gaming/scrolling. The driveway is gravel and well maintained with a bunch of parking. As my kids got older we have three cars in the driveway regularly and everybody had a place to park where they could come and go as they pleased. The fully functional garage was a real bonus

This wonderful home proved to be a perfect choice for our summer vacation in the Berkshires - exceptionally clean, comfortable, and ideally located! And Noriko is a splendid host!

Located just outside of downtown GB, this property was perfect for me, my family, and some visiting friends. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck for bird watching, relaxing and grilling. The kitchen is well-stocked with good pans, pots and knives. The downstairs area with the wet bar and pool table were also fun. Note that this property is also a 5 min drive (take back roads to avoid traffic in town) to Lake Mansfield for great swimming. We intend to come back!

Everything was nice, a cleaner porch,would have been perfect.

Most important, since it was a very hot week, the AC units in the living room & main bedroom worked well. If you kept the doors open the other rooms cooled too. House was well supplied with towels, paper goods, soaps, spices, etc. Lovely landscaped private yard. 2nd bedroom has a full, not queen mattress. The cable box had an issue with rebooting each time it was used, which hopefully Spectrum will resolve. You just have to remember to turn it on earlier than the show starts (you can watch shows on demand too.) The owner was easy to communicate with via the app. Not far from town and from Lake Mansfield for swimming (no fees.)
