Nothing. Dirty, old and it had an odor around the house

This is what happened when we arrived: We got notified 2 hours before check in that there was no WiFi at the facility and on top of that there was no cell signal at said facility. (We needed it because we work remotely and the listing said it had WiFi). When we got in the place had a bad odor around the house. Like if it was abandoned. The place was dirty, the furniture old and we couldn’t get the heater to work. We ended up not staying and had to book last minute somewhere else. We requested a refund, but they offered us less than $50 as a refund when we paid $690. Terrible experience with Vacasa (the company that managed the house) and very disappointed with booking who didn’t help get our money back. This is the message I sent to ask for a refund: “We actually ended up not staying at your facility. The reasons we decided not to stay were: Partially the WiFi and we didn’t even have signal for cell service and I work remotely through my computer and cellphone. Additionally, the facilities were not as described and shown in the app. It was dirty and there was an odor around the house. We also had troubles with the heater amongst other things. We would appreciate if you follow up on the refund request I placed through booking. This is not personal, we were just not satisfied with discrepancy between what was shown in the app and the actual condition of the facilities and amenities. Thank you for your attention and we hope you follow up through.”

View was beautiful

Very very old unit. Dirty walls, oldcarpet ,,smell of unit was horrible had to keep windows open and it was very cold. Found dead rats and dead gopher under and in heater duck.

Jacuzzi and it was on a timer.

The only bone I'd have to pick, and not really intended as a negative but rather something I'd want to know if I were an offsite owner. I'd estimate it would take 3 hours to clean this unit after a guest departure, but, let's be conservative and say it takes 5 hours. That works out to be about $33/hr. rate for the cleaning crew. For the most part the unit was very clean, however, the light switch at the top of the stove vent was very dusty and greasy, as was the inside of the stairwell light housing and it did not appear that the tops of any other light fixtures nor picture frames had been cleaned lately. The owner is not getting their moneys worth from the crew - or they just flat missed those items. This part is a bit of a complaint, it was hard to determine whether or not I should have been communicating with Booking.com or Vacasa. Booking.com responded quickly but rarely addressed the direct questions I posed. Vacas answered the direct questions but there was quite a delay in response. Paying $166 to have the unit cleaned seems excessive.

nice and roomy and clean!

The view from the dining room and deck is beautiful! There is a large living area with comfortable seating and a fire place. We also liked that there is a bedroom on the lower level with only two steps up so it was easy access for my elderly mom. The yard is fenced in for pets to run around, and there is a hot tub on the deck!

It needs updating, but it has a nice rustic feel. One of the bedrooms is a loft so it's noisy if people are downstairs watching TV.

Very comfortable and spacious home. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was amazing. Loved the mountain setting and views.

Carpet in the bathroom.

I liked the view from the back patio and the location of the house. I liked the privacy.

Not enough trash bags. At other cabin rentals wood for chimney have been provided.
