I booked two rooms on behalf of my in-laws visiting from abroad. This review is based on their experience: Very charming and characteristic hotel located in the center of Blaricum. Restaurant at the location was very tasty, good food, good wines and good prices. Waiters were very professional and kind. The rooms were clean, bright, very spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and toiletries. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet location with lots of nature around, yet very close to other cities like Bussum, Laren and Hilversum.

Unfortunately, after collecting the keys on behalf of my in-laws in the late afternoon, we went back to the hotel that evening and while opening the room assigned, someone else was already in the room. There is no 24/7 reception in place, so no one was there to solve the situation on spot at 11pm. I had to call the number provided in the booking reservation and explain the situation. Fortunately, the person I spoked to was very apologetic and managed to solve the issue by giving us access to another room and explain that the person that checked us in, gave us the wrong keys. Mistakes can happen, and the situation was solved promptly, but surely it was not nice to experience. Nonetheless, I have already made another reservation for next month for my parents to stay at the same hotel. I am sure this was just an unfortunate mistake that won't happen again.

Visisted the hotel for a family birthday party including an overnight stay. Excellent hotel. Exceptionally clean in all areas. Staff friendly and helpful. Food and service for the party was great. Really enjoyable in a lovely environment. Would definately recommend for a special occasion. Met and went above our expectations! Room large, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Bed very comfortable .We will definately be back

Would have loved a coffee maker or kettle in the room!

There is a very good free parking lot very close to the hotel Friendly staff A big room

The breakfast is very poor and expensive. And the stairs are really a problem - there is no elevator and we had to take our luggage to our room via dangerous narrow stairs.

Small hotel with good restaurant, modern and clean rooms

Small hotel where we had a tasteful, comfortable, spacy room. It was light and attractive room. The hotel is in a quiet place famous for large villas and elite people. We went for a wonderful walk to the hay and forests nearby. The breakfast was also very nice and we had it on the terrace with waiter service

For us the mattresses were a little too soft, but really nothing we didn't like
