The apartment was nice, but the management company BW Miami Vacation Rentals was horrible. They were impossible to contact. Despite their lovely email saying to email them or call them on the number provided, but they never responded to any of my emails, I must have sent them at least four or five,

This property is nice but NOT worth the money we paid. The elevator situation is terrible. You can wait 15-20 minutes and many times forced to climb the stairs. The unit is on the tenth floor. The duvet covers were filthy! Called to complain the second day and we were told it was too late to do anything about the uncleanliness of blankets and bedding. There was one roll of toilet paper and one see through garbage bag. We even had to buy tissues!! The view of the inter coastal is beautiful, best part of unit. However, the unit information says we had free access to beach club with their comfy chairs etc. NOPE... they said it was free access to the public beach, well gee thanks. $100 day to rent anything at the club for our family of five. We didn’t even use the beach and went to Hollywood Beach instead. Valet parking was also $175!for the week. Again, very over priced!!!! We will not return next year for our holiday.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for more than just a bed to sleep in. Very clean, loved the kitchenette and laundry facilities in the room. On-site cafe/pool was great and the shuttle to the beach was very short. We walked most of the time as the property isnt too far from the ocean.The only negative was the long waits for the elevator but I was told this was an issue prior to booking.

Let me start by saying i am generally a “glass half full” person so my assessment of this property and our experience is probably giving the place more benefit of the doubt than a more judgmental person might. Also I recognize we were in South Florida during the absolute busiest week of the year so systems and staff are being stressed by the workload. The positives: the 2 BR unit we stayed in had plenty of space for my family of 5, is well-constructed and a had a great balcony space facing South with a nice view of the Intracoastal. The building is very modern (~ 2 years old). All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The downsides: While the unit had been appointed with fresh linens and towels it was not truly “clean”; there was grit on the tile floors and dust bunnies aplenty. The building does not have adequate number of elevators to service a 30-story building. There was nearly always a significant wait time. (Obviously exacerbated by being there in a peak week. ). Valet parking was also very challenged due to workload. The kitchen and appliance amenities were pathetic for this price range. A tiny hotel coffemaker with 2 days supply of coffee. A toaster that I would describe as “disposable” and no bar ware. (Is it that hard to supply a corkscrew and bottle opener?) The location in Hallandale is not horrible being halfway between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, but it’s not great for beach lovers. The beach in Hallandale is pretty narrow and there are multiple high rise buildings directly on the beach that spill out thousands of residents and also create shadows on the beach by early afternoon in Winter. If you are a family of sun-starved Midwesterners you can make it work for a last-minute booking. For those who plan ahead, I am sure you can find something much nicer in this price rang.
