We found the property by chance and how lucky we were. It’s perfect for what we needed and ticked every single one of our boxes (very rare). The property is stunning, the hosts were always able to answer or help with any queries and the location us perfect to get away from it all whilst still being a close drive to many local towns & places of interest. We stayed here as a group of mums, sisters and babies (5 aged two and under)!! We had the most fantastic stay the hosts were brilliant and always on hand if anything was needed they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We were provided with 4 cots free of charge, 3 high chairs and more toys than the children have at home. All of this made our stay so much more enjoyable and easier for the adults. The villa is spotless the pictures do not do it justice we loved the large seating area where we spent the evenings relaxing with wine once he children were in bed. The beds were super comfy and we could not have wished for more. The pool is huge the largest we’ve had in any villa and the fact that it was heated was perfect for our little ones as without it it would have been pretty cold given that the weather wasn’t so hot during our stay. Alberobello was a beautiful town just 10 mins or so drive away and the sea around 30mins. All in all we loved our stay and we all said it was the best villa we have ever had ( we have had a lot) Thankyou very much Alison and Chris xx

The trullo is amazing, it is set in a very quiet location, but within easy reach to some interesting and atmospheric towns, Chris and Alison were an hand when we needed them but were not intrusive, we are a family of 4 so had plenty of space, I would imagine that a larger group would have a great time if they made use of the large pool, dining areas and games room! I would highly recommend, this place had everything!

This villa was ideal for a family holiday. It was very spacious and extremely well-equipped. The kitchen, for instance, was generously provided with two fridges, a range cooker and plenty of utensils and crockery. The very spacious playroom had everything our grandchildren could desire. The pool was the star of the holiday - big, clean, with a lovely sunbathing terrace, and even a water slide.

We stayed for one week in May and had a fantastic time. Alison and Chris were very helpful in answering queries in advance of our stay and in helping us to arrange activities, including a hugely enjoyable pasta-making evening with a local family. They were also both there to meet us upon arrival and departure, and extremely helpful with a few adhoc queries we had about the locality during our stay. The Trullo is a beautiful property and the facilities are excellent, including a huge and very well-maintained heated pool, a games room and bikes, and a BBQ & pizza oven. The kitchen is large and well-equipped and the big courtyard space offers both outdoor and covered areas. We also really enjoyed the location, being a short drive away from a number of towns including Alberobello, Locorotondo and Martina Franca, all of which we enjoyed visiting both for the architecture / cultural aspects as well as the excellent restaurants. We stayed with two young children aged 5 and 2 and the additional facilities (play area and games room) were a real added bonus that we used regularly throughout our stay. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the house with our 4 children from 13 to 18 years. It was a very nice house, n the beautiful landscape of Puglia between Albarabello and Locorotondo. The house was a modern, Trullo style house, well maintained, with all the tools you need, good beds ( for a man of 1.87 m and 88 kg not common). Very nice pool, heated, so we could swim every day in the last week of april. Garden with pizza oven, we made our own pizza’s on the last evening. For the children a wel equipped game room, we played a lot of table tennis, Netflix also available and good WIFI in the house. Brand new mountain bikes, so we could ride to Albarabello and Locorotondo for a gelato and a beer. Alison and Chris , we have been in Italy for a lot of times and in a lot of houses, but yours was certainly in or top 3. We hope that a lot of other people may enjoy your house and we,d like to come back some time. Henk and Nicolle.

A beautiful house in a unique place in southern Italy. Lovely pool, sports and games, dishwasher and washing machine, everything is there. 4 bedrooms with private bathroom and TV 2.30 hours flying from Amsterdam. 1 hour drive from Bari. A perfect price-quality ratio.

We could not fault the villa, it had everything we needed, particularly for the children. Very clean and well equipped. Alison and Chris were very helpful and accommodating. We had the pasta making evening with Palma and her daughter which was great fun and absolutely delicious food!

The villa was perfect for our group of 7 adults. The outdoor space is amazing, with large courtyard with a lovely stone table. The pool was warm, is large and clean and was well looked after while we were there. We spent several evenings in the games room which is a great space with loads to do for all ages. Alison and Chris were easy to contact and very helpful, arranging trips and taxis and the amazing Palma and her daughter and mother who cooked for us twice. You do need a car. We stayed for 2 weeks, could have very happily stayed much longer.

Wonderful home for family holiday. Two families of 4 had a great time using brilliant pool, pizza oven and BBQ area. Games room was a great additional space and was loved by kids. Owners really lovely and very helpful.

We loved the Trulli! Alison and Chris were great hosts and very responsive with any queries we had. The pool is beautiful and we really made the most of it. The kids and adults loved games room too. There is so much to do in the local area- wish we had stayed for longer!

What a wonderful place and the owners have thought of everything! Alison and Chris were always on hand if we had any questions which was great. The Trullo was beautiful and the amazing pool was the icing on the cake. We had three teenagers, and although there’s a lot of lovely things for young families, ours were equally entertained in the games room and pool. Highly recommend booking for the pasta night. What a wonderful feast of local recipes and wine. Equally, there are some great little restaurants with a short distance if you fancy it. We miss the place already!

Alison and Chris were fantastic with communication from the start. They met us at checkin and were responsive to any questions. The house is gorgeous with really quality features. The features of the home were terrific for all ages from the big kitchen to cook to the pizza oven to the pool and game room. We loved exploring the area and especially our pasta making dinner by Palma. It is a dinner we will never forget. We toured all over Puglia from Lecce to Trani. Our favorites were Ostuni and Alberobello. We were all sad very to leave.

This trulli truly has everything for a relaxing family holiday. Chris and Alison have thoughtfully provided every imaginable in the games room as well as a fully equipped kitchen and outside area.

The property had everything we needed. There was 4 adults and 3 children aged 3-5. We didn’t need to ask for anything as it was very well equipped. The games room and play areas were perfect for the children and had plenty to keep them occupied. Beautiful and clean. We would love to come back and stay again.

This is a gorgeous house in a beautiful area. Chris and Alison could not have been more helpful. Everything has been thought of in this house and all the little touches make for a stress free stay. We didn't get in to the pool as Easter was early this year but the outside space and pool are fantastic. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. The kids loved the games room/cinema room. Fantastic family villa.

Nothing was too much trouble for the owners of this gorgeous trullo Best equipped holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in, every possible need was catered for from an amazing games room and nightlights for the children to a beautiful courtyard for evening meals for the adults Simple things often overlooked like having enough loungers and chairs for all. stunning pool area, thoughtfully included both sun traps and shady spots for respite from the heat enough areas that even with a full house privacy and peace was guaranteed if needed Lovely friendly helpful owners who were happy to help out at any point Great location to see beautiful Alberobello and Locorotondo Pasta night provided enough food for three whole days so great value and was a really nice experience The children adored the play area and trampoline and the games room was a huge hit with young and adults alike

We had a great week with lovely weather - the trullo has everything you could need. The pool, bikes and games room kept everyone entertained and the local villages were beautiful. We had a lovely meal cooked by Palma and her family (lots of food, did us another night too), also had a go with the pizza oven which was great fun, pizza will never be the same again! Very comfy and relaxing week had by all.

Alison and Chris have the formula spot on. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent response to all our needs and a very friendly approach to running a truly spectacular place. It's a kids and adults paradise with every need catered for. Great pool and games room, kids garden furniture and trampoline. Bikes galore and a games/cinema room in case the weather changes or for a evening get together. Local wine a steal and very good. Would not hesitate to recommend to any that like luxury. We had a party of 7 adults and two children under three. You can lock off the pool for children which makes it completely safe for little ones - a real safe touch

We had a fab time at Alison and Chris's beautiful Trullo! It was very comfortable and had every amenity you could with for - from amazing pool, garden and games room to a fully equipped kitchen and ensuite bathrooms. The location was great with many stunningly beautiful villages and towns around and Alison and Chris on hand for any questions and recommendations.

The house was amazing with excellent facilities. Alison and Chris were most helpful - supplying us with shopping on our late arrival and arranging a pizza evening at the house with Guiseppe which was amazing. The local town of Alberobello is well worth a visit to see the traditional trulli buildings. The games room was an added bonus even for the grown ups!

Highly recommend this accommodation. A successful week with two kids (4 and 8) and the in-laws in July! ...The description of a luxury Trullo is well deserved... the restoration is very appealing... spacious and well maintained... each bedroom has its own conical roof to wake up to and they are lovely spaces....very well equipped kitchen (appreciated the all the kid/pool friendly glasses etc!) ... the pool is wonderfully heated so the kids could spend a long time in it... hammock in the olive trees...had fun being pizza chefs... the football table in the games room very popular ... great for hottest parts of the day and something for everyone (from playhouse to pool table ... all the toys were great)... the location is ideal for coffee/restaurants in pretty towns Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Cisternino... also a visit to the caves in Castellana... even tried the water park in Alberobello (fun but busy!)... The owners' plans to provide more shade and ways to extend the season are spot on... definitely one to return to!

Really lovely place to stay - excellent facilities for babies with a lot of toys and books to play with and a swing/play area. I can't fault the outside area at all and we loved using the bbq and pizza oven. However, we found the Trullo very hot and no fans were in the rooms (description says they have fans) and the rooms including the wardrobes and drawers smelt quite musty so we had to spray a lot of air freshener every day. The bedding was also quite uncomfortable with plastic backed sheets (which we removed as they were making everyone sweat!). Alison and chris were very helpful, we had two broken toilets and a shower drainage issue during the stay and workmen were sent around promptly.

The moment we arrived at the truly we knew we had picked somewhere really special. Met personally by Alison and Chris we were shown around the property which had lots of character and yet was generously proportioned and fantastically kitted out. 3 of the bedrooms were huge doubles with en suite shower rooms with a further bedroom (we had it set up as a twin for the children) and another full bathroom with bath which made everyone happy. There was plenty of space to unpack and the kitchen was large and very well kitted out- including the perfect glasses for limoncello. The high standard was continued outside with large comfortable sun loungers, a beautiful outdoor dining space and the brilliant heated pool. The villa is perfect for very young children with plenty of space for cots and highchairs. There wasn't a single step on the property and the pool and property was fenced off so they could run about without us worrying about any hazards. Our children loved the games room with all its toys, ping pong and table football - as did we as it kept them well entertained and freed up the pool for some quiet adult relaxation. The villa is in a perfect location with so much to see and do. When we return, which we most certainly will, there are still plenty of things for us to visit which we couldn't manage the first time around. Although it is difficult leaving the villa as Alison and Chris have clearly put their guests and their needs at the forefront of everything they have done. During our stay the washing machine broke and within 12 hours it had been looked at, deemed unfit to repair and a brand new one installed. This is just one example of the fantastic customer service that we received and it was most appreciated given the occupancy of three sticky messy children. A real highlight was having the neighbour, Palma, and her Mum visit the villa to make pasta and cook a truly delicious and authentic Italian meal. We did this on our last night and would definitely look to book for more nights when we visit again. We enjoyed using the BBQ but the outdoor pizza oven was the favourite and we had really perfected our recipe and technique by the end of the week. Speaking with Chris about their plans it sounds like the villa is set to get even better, although we think it is pretty perfect already, and if it is executed like everything else they have done we are sure it will be wonderful. We just returned from a great stay at this well equipped lovely trullo. We were a group of two couples and two toddlers. The trullo had all we needed, with the added bonus of lots of toys in the playroom for the toddlers. The pool was a really nice temperature and we made a lot of use of the pizza oven. Rooms were really cool and dark so great for sleeping. The owners were always on hand to give us advice on the local area. We also did the pasta making evening which was great fun and great food (very large portions 😀) Only thing we did find was quite a few mossies but think that is just a warm climate thing so do take insect repellent if you are prone to being bitten. We will definatly go back!

The villa is set in stunning countryside alongside Olive trees and is a perfect base to explore all Puglia has to offer. The facilities were perfect for two families, lovely clean bedrooms/bathrooms, large kitchen with dining table, outdoor dining area with brilliant pizza oven and BBQ. Large heated swimming pool, sunbeds and well kept gardens, a games room (pool table, table tennis, table football) with it's own cinema room upstairs! There's so much to see and do in Puglia, stunning area.... if you can drag the kids away from the Trullo!

This was our first time in Southern Italy and it did not disappoint! The property was just as described and offered the space and facilities to keep us all occupied and entertained! The interior of the trullo was a new experience for us with its multiple cones and exposed stonework! We particularly wanted some time where we could be together as a family and to unwind from our busy lives. This was easily achieved relaxing by the beautiful pool and preparing the fresh and varied produce from the local markets and stores. We didn't have to travel far either, to eat out at the wonderful restaurants that were recommended in the Visitors Information Pack. We loved the wine so much at Masseria Catucci that they sold us a 5 litre bottle of the House Red, at a ridiculously low price! Everywhere we went, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The neighbour across the road gave us a bucketful of cherries from his garden and the owner of the Olive Oil factory in Martina Franca took us out for coffee in his favourite cafe! Alison and Chris were very friendly and helpful and it was reassuring to know that they lived only a short drive away if we were to need them. For this holiday, we didn't travel far, preferring to enjoy the sunshine by the pool and to visit the charming, local towns of Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino and Martina Franca in the late afternoon and evening. Such a lovely villa, everything one could wish for both inside and out, set in beautiful countryside, and prompt attention from owners Alison and Chris if necessary.All just as shown in photos and information on website. Loved the pool and just relaxing in the garden. Made use of Pizza oven and BBQ and cycling around the quiet, pretty country lanes and cycle routes nearby.The games and media room were so well equipped for all ages and we spent several evenings enjoying table tennis, table football, pool etc. Good location,being near the beautiful hilltop white towns of Alberobello and Locorotondo. Lots of other historic places and coast not too far away. A wonderful way to spend my 70th birthday with our 3 children and partners.They had arranged an amazing surprise dinner one evening cooked by Dario.Wow, not to be missed.

The villa was excellent. Alison and Chris had thought of everything a visitor might need. Outdoor area was wonderful and the pool was very inviting. We visited in May so the indoor facilities were well utilised as the evenings were chilly. The area around the villa is lovely and the local restaurants excellent. A wonderful holiday and would certainly return and recommend it to both friends and family.

Our family of 8 discerning adults had a wonderful stay at this lovely trullo. The house was beautifully renovated, well-equipped, and extremely comfortable. Additionally, the owners were very responsive to all questions and requests. It's conveniently located to Alberobello and Locorotondo. We did explore farther afield to towns such as Matera, Lecce, Otranto, etc - each over an hour away. While we only used the pool one day (April stay), it was wonderfully refreshing and the garden most relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed pizza-making night with Chef Donatello! I have already recommended the trullo to friends! Thanks so much!

The Trullo was imaculate, everything of very high quality, warm, comfortable and all our needs catered for. Our family ranged from 64 years old down to 2 and it was perfect for us all. We managed to drag ourselves out each day to visit the beautiful little ancient towns nearby - really nearby - for long lazy lunches, after the long lazy coffee and cakes. A supermarket at the end of the very pretty road was bonus though our hosts had supplied us with all the essentials on our arrival. Very welcoming and very helpful and living nearby which was comforting, we didn't want to leave!
