The only thing we liked about this hotel was the location.
At 7 am a guy start screaming on the hallway, and at evening again…. Strong smell of marihuana on the hallway. The apartment is “ok” for the price, but I was expecting a little bit more when I looked up the pictures . The building has NO elevator.
My family and I had a very bed experience especially with the constantly discomfort with the people that stays in this hotel. I do not recommend.

The bathroom wasn't very clean. There were beard hairs on the counter and the bathtub was dirty.

The beds were very comfy, and the hotel was very quiet in general (no noise from other rooms, and a quiet neighborhood). We had a good night of sleep to enjoy Algonquin early the other day. We were two couples and we stayed in the Family room - that was good for us as the two queen beds were in separate rooms (one of the beds is in the living room).
We booked for 4ppl, but they just had 2 sets of towels and bath supplys. We realized that after the front desk was already closed (11 pm), so we had to wait until the morning to have more towels. That was a little bit of incovenience.

Asked for a late checkout (till noon) and the cleaning staff walked into the room before checkout time.

The room was OK and I'm being kind. The fridge and microwave looked like a setup from my daughter's dorm room at university.
The entire place needs a repaint. The door to my room looks as though someone was trying to ram it down as the paint was so chipped. Reception also needs to be painted. Looks as though its been patched. Reception smelled. Lounge area looked like furniture picked up on the side of the road that someone has thrown away.

The room was old, poorly maintained, and not as clean as it should have been. The hotel was further out of town and very expensive, especially for the state of the hotel/room.

Smelly in the room, screen door fell out .hairs on beds, ceiling in bathroom had mold and flaking paint tv ,tables etc looked like it was wiped with wet rag left right away after booking online.

Dirty, unkempt exterior, pile of empty boxes next to the entrance, lobby uninviting, hallway not vacuumed and covered with what appeared like drywall dust and particles, washroom with missing floor tiles, overall interior needs to be repainted, beds soft and lumpy on 1 side, no regular TV, just 1 or 2 streaming services,
