I wrote a review then realised it was more like a novel as I have so much to say about the villa and owners service, so I have cut it down to: This Villa is 10/10 so many amenities. Area quiet with a 15-20 min walk into Marina or beach. Service from Kathy the owner was above and beyond what I expected, she sorted the cake, answered all of my questions, and set my mind at ease. I would definintely recommend her to anyone. Better than a travel agents wth service second to none, I am sure we will be visiting again soon. Thank you so much for your help and kindness. The birthday cake was one of the best chocolate cakes we have had. Michael loved it. We had an absolute fab time.

I do not believe there was building work happening near by. As advised by the host. The booking was never actually cancelled officially which looks bad on their rating. Shame as we were really looking forward to our stay. Luckily we found somewhere else, which was recommended by the host. Dissatisfied customer here though..

Massive villa close to everything thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely stay again!

There was 11 of us that stayed. There was still loads of room so no one got under your feet. It really amazing although it is a 20 minute walk to the beach and bars it’s a nice walk . But you don’t have to leave the Villa if you don’t want to because there is your private pool and loads of room for you to sunbathe and even a hot tub. Definitely would like to stay again and would recommend it to anyone it’s one of the best family holidays we’ve ever had . Regards Marie

The property is modern with a lovely pool and hot tub area. We had 8 people there for a week and everyone had their own ample space. There is a games area too with pool, darts and table football. It is a 12 mins walk each way to the nearest supermarket which we walked to every morning. Beach is a 25 minute walk away one way and Rubicon Marina is 25 minute walk the other way. (Our 70 year old Nan had no issues as mostly flat) We really enjoyed Atlantico restaurant at the Marina and had birthday celebrations at the Volcon restaurant on Papagayo. We did not hire a car so we could all relax and taxis are only €4 back to the villa. Really relaxing. There is little shade in the garden so take a hat. Owner is very responsive anyway and provided extra stand for parasols etc. Overall a very positive experience in a lovely villa. Would highly recommend.

Lovely villa. Could do with a tiny amount of TLC to justify it as being "luxury". However we couldn't fault the location or the amenities. Kitchen very well equipped with nice welcome pack of teabags, milk, juice etc. Pool is small but was perfectly adequate and the kids spent many hours in it! Plenty of sun loungers and outdoor seating. Owners arrived as we were dropping off bags and couldn't have been more helpful. They gave advice on local amenities and very kindly allowed us to stay and check in early which was much appreciated. The walk into town/beach was around 15 mins but taxis were only 3.50 ish euros and we used these a lot. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants on the promenade. The market at the Marina is well worth a visit. As a group of 8 adults and 2 young children we found the villa had plenty of space and would highly recommend this for a large family holiday. One thing to note.....beware of the large glass sliding doors leading from the lounge to the pool. Our 5 year old granddaughter went running towards them thinking they were open and bounced off them having smacked her head on the glass resulting in a nice egg shaped lump! nothing that an ice pack and a cake didn't rectify but I would recommend keeping them open at all times if little ones are running about. Or maybe a sticker of some kind on the glass would help to see that they are closed. All in all a lovely relaxing holiday and we will definitely return to Play Blanca.

The villa is beautiful and has everything you need for a great stay did not really cook but everything you need is there. As someone stated telly system hard to figure out but rang management number and someone quickly arrived to show us how to work it . out door space is great loads of sunbeds and plenty of chairs around tables. Pool is great we all loved it and the jacuzzi lovely and warm. The villa is in a nice quiet spot around 15 mins walk to commercial centre and bars but still only 3.50 euro's in a taxi. All in all would recommend this villa to anyone. Thanks Kathy all had a amazing stay

Villa was very clean and tidy, had plenty of room for 12 of us. Air con throughout. Pool and hot tub was great. Around 15 min walk to the nearest supermarket and also 20 min walk to the beach. Taxis are very good value if you want to get anywhere. Kathy the owner was extremely helpful and made things a lot easier, there was lots of written info in the villa. Highly recommend this villa for a Lanzarote stay!

Pros Excellent and friendly communication direct with the owners. They arranged all airport to villa transfers Like home from home Eleven in the family , five were children. Loads of space Very clean with every facility you are likely to need. Private, not overlooked. Children were never bored (when they came off their ipads), Pool and hot tub very popular. Prompt help from the service manager ( a bed frame broke and was replaced quickly Cons None really but if you want me to be ultra critical . 1 Shower rooms dimly lit, though you get used to it. 2 You need a masters degree to work the TV. Some instructions would help. However, great holiday and superb villa

We were a group of friends celebrating our 50th birthdays. The villa was amazing. Really clean, well laid out and plenty of room for us all. Nice walk down to the beach and local bars and restaurants. Kathy the owner arranged our transport to and from the airport and put us in touch with a local grocery company who delivered a shop for us at the beginning of the holiday. Perfect. Will definitely return

Absolutely stunning villa, had everything you could want and more. Perfect location, short walk to lovely resort of playa Blanca and the beach. The villa both inside and outside was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Kathy was so helpful in the run up to us arriving with information about the villa and surrounding area. She really went above and beyond! She even arranged transfers to and from the airport for us as well which was brilliant! All in all we had a fantastic holiday in an outstanding villa! We would definitely consider returning.

I stayed at Kathy’s villa in September with 4 Families (11 of us in total) so the size was perfect for us all. When arriving at the villa we were very impressed with the huge spacious lounge, lovely, well equipped kitchen (2 fridges was a massive bonus) and plenty of bedrooms to choose from! A very clean villa. The bedrooms were a good size with wardrobes and bedside tables. I stayed in the bedroom next to the kitchen, the only downfall was no storage in the bathroom for toiletries or to hang your towel as the stick on hooks kept falling off. The villa was always secure with an alarm and a safe provided which we all used. The outside area was great for sunbathing and the kids loved the pool, couldn’t get them out of it. The shallow end was perfect for my 2.5 yr old to walk around in. It would have been great to have the villa cleaned, even just the floor during our stay as we ended up sweeping the floor a number of times from all the dirt/sand etc (there is a lot of floor area) A short taxi to the main shops/restaurants, we know the area well, the villa was perfectly located. Kathy was always quick to respond to emails before, during and after our visit. (Especially when I lost a valuable piece of jewellery, which was found and very grateful for) Overall we all had a wonderful stay at the villa and probably the best so far in this area.

Had a great holiday in this lovely Villa recently. Was very new & clean. Facilities were excellent. Kathy (owner) was very helpful when booking flights & transfers for a large number of people. Beach only short walk but Taxi only 4Euros to main Playa Blanca! Lots of restaurants along the promenade. Villa located in quite area, very relaxing. Would recommend for large family gatherings.

We had a totally comfortable stay in Villa Montana. This was perfect for our family celebration for 10 people. Fully equiped with all the luxuries of a pool, Jacuzzi, spacious outside dining and sunbed chilling. To die for kitchen and penthouse room at the top. Close to the beach and bars . Short walk or Taxi, which was very cheap and efficient. Kathy added little extras at our request and gave us an amazingly clean and comfortable place to relax and enjoy. Arrival and information about the villa was spot on and easy. Thankyou again Kathy for letting us enjoy Villa Montana and all your help along the way. Julie

This villa was booked for 14 family members for a surprise 50th birthday. From the moment I enquirer about it Kathy was helpful in every aspect offering advice and recommendations to make it a perfect trip. The villa is decorated to a high standard with perfect facilities for disabled people. There was adequate sun loungers and crockery for all members of the party. Kathy was there to meet us when we arrived at the villa and answer any questions we had. If we were ever to need a villa of this size again I wouldn’t hesitate to book. Great place! Lovely villa! Felt very comfortable as very clean . Such a gorgeous villa deserves credit, Kathy has done a really good job as I’m as fussy as they come with accommodation. I have already recommended this villa to people that I have spoken to since being back. The week was great, tiring but we knew it would be like this with Grand Children, so was geared up ready. We will definitely be re-booking for next year . Thanks Kathy for all your help x

As a family group of 11 people this villa was perfect with lots of space and activities for everyone. There was lots to do in the area whether you walked or went in the car everything was easy to get to. A must try for a cheap but delicious meal was La Rustica which was near the square in town and was big family favourite. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks to Kathy and the local management team we had a week to remember and fell in love with Lanzarote looking forward to returning next year!!

Had a fantastic family holiday in this villa, the walk to the front would have been nicer if they had been a bar or two on way, but taxis were cheap enough if we didn’t fancy the walk. Had a couple of fantastic nights at tandori Indian on the front great food and brilliant staff. The ice bar was another great place to eat too. Had a couple of bbqs in the villa which were brilliant every thing you could think of was available in the villa would highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to book it. We were a large family party aging from 2 to 55. Everything right from the point of booking was fabulous. The owner Kathy couldn't have been more helpful - she arranged reliable transfers for us which were also great value for money! As for the villa - this could not be faulted in any way! It had everything we could wish for! We particularly loved the hot tub! The resort of Playa Blanca is lovely. My 5 year old granddaughter found it to be a bit of a trek to walk into the centre at times but most of us enjoyed the walk. The Marina is lovely with fabulous shops and a great choice of cocktail bars and restaurants to enjoy leisurely tapas with family and friends. All in all a fantastic holiday, great villa, helpful owners who accommodated all our requests. Can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Montana, the villa was very well equipped and had plenty room inside and out for a large party. The owners were very helpful and obliging. I would thoroughly recommend Villa Montana.

This beautiful villa was perfect for my husband's 50th birthday celebration. I was a bit worried about 10 of us (myself, husband, our 3 children and their partners, mother and father-in-law all holidaying together/being under each other's feet. There was no need to worry as Villa Montana was extremely spacious and well laid out. The heated pool and hot tub were fantastic especially as the weather was a little cool at times (not bad for March though). My only regret is only booking the villa for 4 nights. As it was a short break we tended to eat out most of the time but if we'd stayed longer I would have loved to have cooked a meal for all the family as the kitchen was amazing, it was modern, so well laid out and it was immaculate. It was equipped with absolutely everything you would need. We didn't even make use of the lovely dining table and chairs where we could all have fitted around. I would also have liked to have used the barbecue. This review seems to be about what we didn't do, but we hope to book the villa again in the future and hopefully spend more time at it. The villa is not too far out but my father-in-law has had a hip replacement and probably wouldn't have managed the walk to restaurants but the local taxi firm (tel number on cards situated in villa) were available at the drop of a hat sending 2 taxis to accommodate the 10 of us. I think it was well under 4 euros per taxi. We ordered 2 taxis on our second day to head to the marina but one taxi driver misunderstood us and we ended up separated. One party walked back from the marina to meet us others at the harbour and we ended up spending most of our time in the town centre area. I only just discovered the beautiful Marina area shops and beautiful restaurants on our last day. Kathy who we booked our villa through would probably have kept us right on these things if we'd asked, as she was great from our first enquiry right throughout. She even organised airport transfers for us a few days before travelling at much cheaper rates than what was available looking online. Another amazing personal touch was that she took our flight times and booked our pick up for late in the afternoon, well after normal check out time. The gorgeous Villa is highly recommended and we would recommend 'Asia' our favourite restaurant.

A huge thank you to Kathy & Gary for all of your help in making my 50th Birthday a day/week I will remember forever! The villa was perfect to accommodate friends & family....so spacious and it had everything we needed. Also the help and advice you gave to arrange a personal chef, a beautiful birthday cake and decorations etc just enabled my family (without me knowing!) to organise the most perfect day! Weather was also incredible which always helps of course! We hope to be back soon!

Villa was spotless clean, modern and nicely decorated. Great location, pool and hot tub great extras, can't fault anything. Everything was as expected if not better. Kathy was great to deal with and her recommendations for places to eat didn't disappoint. only con I can come up with was a light bulb outside wasn't working. Definitely returning.
