This is the third time I’ve stayed in this property. It’s in a good location to get to the beach or to the village, the owners are really nice and overall a great property for a family to stay in Croyde

The property is perfect for 3 or 4 people. It is extremely clean and has everything you need for a weeks holiday. Ten minutes walk to the beach and Surf South West surfing school along a lovely footpath. I can highly recommend staying here

We have been to Croyde as a family on four occasions now and love the Sandy Lane / Way location for accessing the beach. Little Sandy Hollow was perfect for us as a family of four, very clean and a lovely hot shower for after the beach (October half term). Malcolm and Gini were the perfect hosts and we can’t wait to go back next summer and enjoy the garden terrace when the weather is warmer …. only 272 days to go!!!

Malcolm&Gini were friendly & welcoming. Living next door they were on hand if needed but not at all intrusive. The property was compact but had everything we needed & was very comfortable. The garden is big enough to lie in the sun & there is access to the garden from the lane to the beach so easy to bring on boards etc & hose down before going indoors. There is a deck & table & chairs, great for al fresco meals. The beach is huge, normally surfy it was completely flat when we were there but still lovely for paddle boarding. It was close enough to walk down in wetsuits & carry surf or SUP boards. Croyde is small but has a little shop, lots of eateries & is surrounded by hills so great for walking, cycling etc from the door. We had a lovely time & would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodation for a family holiday. Perfectly clean, comfortable and a well equipped kitchen. Living area leading onto your own decking and use of the shared garden. The location was great, 5-10 minute easy walk to Croyde beach and a short walk into the village shops and restaurants. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Really lovely place to stay. Perfect location between the beach and the village. Lovely outlook from the living area onto countryside and trees. Bathroom, beds, kitchen all good standard. Owners are friendly and helpful. Croyde itself is a great holiday spot with kids with local beach and many others a short drive away, pubs, ice cream shop, playground in the village. Would recommend and hope to visit again

We arrived on Saturday and got straight in the owners were very welcoming and the property was excellent. Perfect location for us 10mins to the breach, 5mins to the village. Would definitely recommend a stay!

We had a lovely stay in the modern annex. It was well equipped with everything we would need for a weeks self catering stay. With 2 little people it was great to have a secure large garden area for them to play too. Would definitely recommend, thank you Malcolm & Gini xx

Great location. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us lots of good tips and advice. The cottage was very well equipped and extremely convenient for the village and the beach. Loved being able to hang the wetsuits and store the boards safely overnight in the garden. Would definitely recommend and would love to return soon.

We have just returned home from a fabulous holiday at SandyHollow. What a lovely place to stay, the location is perfect and facilities were excellent! The owners are both very friendly and helpful and we hope to return in the future to improve our surfing and boogie boarding skills!!! We are a family of over 70 year olds who loved the beach and ease of access, and also two teenagers who were enticed off their electronics to experience all the beach had to offer! We had a lovely few days in Croyde Bay and found the accommodation to be superb The apartment was really clean and well equipped with a powerful shower and plenty of storage . It’s spacious and modern and we were really comfortable . Malcolm and Ginny were very welcoming and contacted us prior to our arrival. Croyde Bay is beautiful and the apartment is within walking distance of the village and beach. We will be returning.

I booked a long weekend in this property for my wife’s 30th birthday present and it really didn’t disappoint. The location was absolutely brilliant. Nice and quiet and in a great place for walking to the beach and to the shops and pubs in Croyde, with the path down to the beach right outside the property. The property itself was really nicely done and it had plenty of space in the bedrooms and downstairs. All the facilities were of a high standard and the place was spotless. Everything we needed was there so there was no need to ask Malcolm or Gini for anything else. And the hosts themselves were absolutely lovely. They sent us a nice message to wish us a safe journey before we left and were both there waiting for us when we arrived to give us a warm welcome. It had been a bit of a chilly week in the lead up to our arrival so Malcolm had set the heating up for us so the place was nice and warm when we walked in. They gave us a tour of the place but weren’t overbearing and were keen to let us settle in and enjoy our break. We had no issues so had no need to bother them during our stay but we had a nice chat whenever we crossed paths whilst we were there. We would definitely like to come and stay again!

Gosh! If you were searching for a place to stay in Devon with close proximity to the beach and the perfect hosts you just found one. The most welcoming and lovely check in ever. Thank you for hosting us. The property is simply perfect: clean, warm, great attention to detail. If you surf you can dry your wetsuits and board in the garden. Lots of local tips. A super property, providing excellent accommodation and location to all local amenities. Warm and welcoming hosts too.

The ease of going to the beach, using the back gate to access the private road, 5 minute walk from the beach. We surfed everyday. We used the garden as our changing room, once we had been to the beach. Rinsed the wet suits in a tub provided, hung the wet suits outside on thick durable washing line, rested the surf boards up for the night, all fresh ready for the next day. The annex has a lot of natural light and is very calming. Patio doors onto the decking, perfect every morning for sitting both inside and out. Used all facilities within the property, cooker, oven, washing machine, dish washer, garden, parking and cloths airer. Would definitely visit this property again. The property is finished to a high standard through out with solid wood furniture for the bedrooms. We found every room very clean and just perfect for our stay. Croyde is beautiful. We had meals out, many walks, beautiful views, open air market in the village, Cornish pasties, local beer, went swimming, visited Woolacomb and Morte Hoe, found the light house and had an amazing Sunday dinner in Georgeham. Not forgetting fish and chips at Braunton. Can’t wait to visit again.

We really enjoyed our short stay here. Great for surfers as it’s only a short walk from the beach. We explored the local beaches by car as well, all only a short drive away. Would definitely book again.

The house was perfectly situated to make the most of the beach and Croyde. It is immaculate and just like the photos. Kitchen superbly equipped. The garden and decking were lovely and as others have said the owners were really friendly. Absolutely recommend ! We would love to go again. This property is particularly perfect for families with children who are old enough to use bunk beds and independently use a shower.

We had a great stay here over the bank holiday weekend. The property is perfect for a family of 4 with a lovely large double bedroom and a small bunk room for the kids. Everything feels pretty new and the kitchen is well equipped. Dessy and Gini who own the place are fantastic, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would stay again in down in Croyde.
