Our family, grandfather and spouse, son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter (aged 15) rented the villa for two weeks over the Easter 2023 holidays. First of all the Waterxsong community is perfect, quite and peaceful but close to the theme parks albeit the traffic congestion at certain times of the day has got worse since our last visit in 2018. The villa has all the facilities including a superb heated swimming pool and spa. If we decide to visit this area again our first enquiry will to ask the availability of the Crystal Palm villa. Thank you Jon and Sue for helping us have a truly magical holiday staying at a beautiful house in a perfect location.

Here’s a review of our stay. Pros. This property was spacious. Owners were responsive to our needs. The pool area is great. Kitchen was well equipped. House was very clean. Kids loved the game room. Cons. Thermostat was preset set so we were unable to control the temperature of the house unless we emailed to owner and asked it to be set to a different temperature. Mattresses were not comfortable and have plastic wrapped around them. TV’s in bedrooms are small. Sofas cushions are extremely flat. It’s actually about a 35-40 minute drive to Disney Parks with good traffic. I would give this house a 3 star rating. Even though this house appears to be luxury, it is not up to the standard we are used of for an upscale home. For the price we paid, I would have expected more comfort from this home.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay. We were there for two months so we got to know the ins and outs of the property, the management company and the surroundings. The house itself has a relaxed and welcoming feel. The home backs onto a conservation area and a setting sun in the evening, yet it provides sun over the pool and lanai for most of the day. The only backyard neighbours are the sand cranes. The ensuite bathrooms gave all our guests privacy and comfort. We had friends and family with us almost every day in March and they all felt right at home from the moment they walked through the door. Shopping is only15 minutes away at Posner Park and because we had an extended stay, we went there to purchase table cloths and other items to personalize the inside as well as the lanai area. But the house is already well equipped. Grocery shopping is about 5 minutes away with a large and new Publix. Champion’s Gate shops and restaurants are also a short distance away. A trip to Celebration is warranted but don’t use hwy 4 to get there. It’s a parking lot. (There are also better routes than hwy 17.) You are bound to run into occasional problems with any house so a good and responsive management company is a must. Lynn and her team are terrific. The home owners Jon and Sue are also great and very accommodating. You’ll have to let them know when you have guests arriving as only the homeowners are to call the security gatehouse. Quiet time is 11pm to 8am. We did have noisy neighbours in a house beside us at one point in our two month stay but the situation was quickly resolved though the management company. The neighbourhood was the perfect size for us and we walked inside the gated community every day. Didn’t use the community centre or the larger pool this time. Most people prefer the privacy of their own pool. There is an alarm (rather loud and ear piercing) on the door to the pool as a safeguard for those staying here who have youngsters. If you golf, there is a great course 2 minutes up the road that you will enjoy. And you can get the golf channel using Roku on all your TV’s. In fact, you can get pretty much any of the streaming services too with Roku. You have valet service for garbage and recycling bins so no need to take them curbside or return them to the side of the house. (I know. Crazy, huh?) We will be back!

This is a beautiful home, and the pool was wonderful. If I were to caution anyone staying with small children: the house is not “curious crawler” friendly. There are no plug covers; and there are many decorative things within chewing range. Most of the tables in the home are glass or tile tops. For older kids, this would be fine, but it is not “monster truck” safe, requiring more constant supervision. Another sore spot for us was the beds. The mattresses leave a lot to be desired. The king size bed squeaked and creaked enough to wake our infant. They felt a lot like mattresses you’d have at camp. The game room is great! Being able to shoot some pool after a day of being out and about was something I’d look forward to. The TV was a new 4K Roku streaming TV, and had all kinds of streaming options along with cable. The pool and hot tub being private is so nice during the pandemic. For the four of us, it was more than enough space for all of us to swim comfortably, and we had a blast just being in the pool. For us, the pool with the backdrop of the woods was pretty exciting and relaxing. Overall, I’d recommend this home to a family with older kids; some of the furniture is not small children friendly.

We had a great week at this property. The house and pool were great and the game room was a nice bonus that was used more than we had anticipated. We had bad luck with some noisy neighbors but that was no fault of the owners. We would stay again.

Perfect for a large family, beautiful neighborhood for walking or biking, pool and patio were fantastic. Kitchen was easy to cook in and well equipped.

Fantastic property! Very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Pool and hot tub were amazing! Pool heat was well worth it as we had some days that were in the 60's. Loved all the kid friendly features like the door alarm and the pool fence. My 2yo didnt go outside ONCE without help! Something I was very concerned about because he loves to swim! Would most definitely recommend this property!

Everything was great, there was 10 of us and lots of room for everyone. Pool was clean and warm and well enjoyed by the children. Almost everything we did was less than half hour drive. Everything we hoped for.
