We enjoyed our time here. Was clean and easy access to nearby amenities.

This is the 2nd time we have rented this condo and once again we were very satisfied. The unit was clean and perfectly fit our needs for a weekend stay. I would recommend as Lynne and June are wonderful to rent from.

Nice 2 bedroom unit in a pretty golf community

This condo is very comfortable. We love the water view with the golf course right behind it! We stayed here last year, and found it to be very nice. Since that time the owners have made so many improvements it's amazing. they've put in tile floors in both baths, new carpet in both bedrooms, bright new lighting in both the kitchen and dining area, and new paint! They also put in new living room recliner and sleep sofa. We had our 4 grandkids (that live close by) come for a night and they raved about the new "comfy sleep sofa" and twin beds in the guest bedroom. All six of us were quite comfortable. BTW, I love the new recliner a lot. There is so much to do here! Short drive to Myrtle Beach, dinning galore, beaches, parks, swimming, tennis, golf. We drove down to Brookgreen Gardens and up to Southport. Something for every one! We love it so much we hope to come back for an extended stay! Thank you Lynne for allowing us to stay here, It is gorgeous!!!

The condo is absolutely lovely and spotlessly clean. It has everything you need for dining and cooking, even a crock pot. We have stayed here in the past with friends and were delighted to see it is now freshly painted a beautiful blue-gray and very tastefully upgraded. I LOVE the new recliner and sleep sofa! I fell asleep more than once on the recliner. It is SO COMFORTABLE!!! With plush new carpet in both bedrooms and very attractive new tile floors in both bathrooms and master dressing area, they have done a masterful job in selecting perfect materials for the upgrades. Our last time here, there was a lock box for the entry key. That has been eliminated with a modern electronic lock. Entry is now gained pressing your 4 digit code and the lock opens. As you leave, just press a button and the door locks. No more looking for the keys. For me, that is a big upgrade. A huge bonus for me is going out the back door and walking about 50 feet to the pond and fishing (with no license required). A neighbor reeled in a bass about a foot long while we were here. FYI, it is catch and release. Sunset Beach is gorgeous with beautiful clean white sand and the "Kindred Spirit Mail Box", which was quite moving. There is a pier that you can fish from there, for a fee. Lynne and June are very nice, and easy to deal with. Their quick response to a question I had was great. Thank You Lynne & June!!! We hope to stay with you again!

This condo was adequate and comfortable. The condo is surface clean but you can tell it's been a while since it has been deep cleaned. Our feet were very dirty after walking barefoot in the condo the first night we got there. The appliances all work (I can't speak to the K cup coffee maker because I forgot to bring coffee) and we love having a washer and dryer on site. The beds are adequate but very firm. They are a bit noisy when you first get in but after the first night we all slept okay. The kitchen seems better equipped to eat than to cook. The dishes were clean but we chose to buy frozen food and heat it up rather than prepare fresh food each day. Communication with the owner was adequate when I asked specific questions. Checking in was slightly confusing partly due to us getting there after it was dark. The building numbers are difficult to see due to the height of the trees. The entryway is not well lit and we were given a passcode which we thought was to the door but in reality it is to the lockbox on the storage closet door which holds the keys to the front door. We didn't use the pool facilities at all partly because we didn't know where it was but we were only there for 2 full days and we spent them at the beach. Sunset beach is phenomenal. It's about a 10 min drive to Sunset and you can choose to drive to ocean isle which adds about 10 more minutes. It's nice and flat. There are ample tide pools during low tide so little kids can play but there are some nice size waves that bigger kids can play in too. If you love shelling you might want to choose a different beach because there a very few shells here. There is free public parallel parking on the street and multiple public beach access points and one large pay lot near the pier. We never parked near the pier but the beach was super crowded with people near there when we walked the shoreline. We were at two different spots on the beach and even being labor day weekend there was plenty of space on the beach and in the water. If you have a tent / shade with legs you have to set up in the very back in accordance to local ordinance requirements. That would have been nice to know before we set up mid beach and had to move when the patrol came by letting us know. Overall we enjoyed our time there.

Great place to stay.

Stay was very good enjoy our experience

Very well kept place. Plenty of room for 4 to 6 adults. Had all the niceties there, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, plenty of paper towels, ice, keurig coffee maker etc.. Will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay while we visited Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas. Wifi and cell service was spotty, but we made the most of it. Lots to see and do close by. Was nice to sit in the enclosed patio and listen to the rain and frogs.

Condo could have been cleaner.

My husband and I took our two teens for a long weekend and we stayed at the condo at Sunset. We had a small issue with the air conditioner in the beginning. I contacted Lynne and she was on it immediately, and had the company out THAT night and had the issue resolved very quickly. The condo was clean, and perfect for the four of us. Really my only complaint is that the bed was a little firm for my liking, but that’s just personal preference. I would definitely stay here again. We are already planning our next trip.

Unfortunately, the HVAC system broke! However, Lynne was great. She had HVAC company out in a flash! When they determined that system needed parts, Lynne ordered multiple window AC units to keep the place cool! Thank you Lynne 😊

What we needed for the weekend.

The property was in a quiet little golfing community. It was perfect for our family who wanted to visit the beach but did not want to pay beach rental rates. As a runner, I felt safe running through the community and the residents were very nice. The condo was very clean and well kept. It had all the amenities you need if you want to avoid eating out every night. The owner was great and went above and beyond to make our stay was pleasant when we had some mishaps.

We stayed here for the second time in three years. It was a pleasant experience just as the first time. The location is great & the owner’s are responsive.

Very nice location for a family vacation with plenty to do and close enough to major areas to explore.

1. Roaches. We killed one in the room where the washer is. That is a big NO-NO for any rental. 2. The key lock box needs to be replaced with a new one. This one is ridiculously hard and stressful to open. It required a phone call to the owner to help in resolving. 3. The arrival information only showed the address and NOT THE UNIT NUMBER. There are multiple units in this bldg. Another stressful moment. 4. The bldg. number of 874 is NOT viewable from the street due to an overgrown tree blocking the number. We deduced this was the right building by looking at both left and right building numbers. Another stressful situation. 5.The internet code was not provided anywhere in the unit, resulting in phone calls and text messages to the owner to resolve. Stressful 6. This unit is old and needs major upgrades. The furniture is extremely outdated and needs replacing. If you are going to keep renting, you must upgrade the furnishings. 7. Internet speed is slow and needs upgrading. See below 7. Internet speed is poor DOWNLOAD Mbps 42.05 UPLOAD Mbps 20.39 8. The living room TV is old and needs updating 9. wife complains of carpet smell in the master bedroom. She will try another bedroom tonight. 10. We were told we would be provided the lockbox key code before arriving. We were not provided that information. We had to text and email the owner to get this information, stressful. 11. The picture on the VRBO website of this location is NOT the front of this bldg. nor the interior, at least not currently. It could have been 20+ years ago. Misleading information is never a good thing. Updating one’s pictures ensures you are being honest with the renters about the overall “look” of your rental. Most of the pictures on the website are not what the unit currently looks like. Misleading advertising is a dicey issue. 12. The dryer makes enough noise (clicking/rubbing/something wrong) noise, unacceptable. 13. the master shower/bath is from 20+ years ago. Time to at the very least, replace the showerhead with a new unit, and the bathroom sink faucet which leaks back onto the countertop. Seems like a reasonable request. We drove 500 miles/10 hours to this terrible welcome

great spot to relax.

We had an awesome stay at this apartment. Beds are comfortable and everything looked cleaned. Kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. We had good communication with the owners and their answers were quick. Nice view to the golf course and it’s less than 15 min to the beach. 5 min to food lion.

Clean condo. Quiet, too. 15 minutes to Sunset Beach. Enjoyed our stay.

This place was much better than expected. It is a great place for a family to stay. Great view, and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. My toddler was able to run around. It was also very clean. The beds were hard, and uncomfortable, but everything else was great.
