Friendly staff, nice place, breakfast was enough, amazing hot tub.
Sauna was a little difficult (throwing water to stones was difficult).

The Lodge was super comfy and clean. The kitchen is big and equipped with everything you need. The dogs are very cute and I was allowed to visit and pet them in the kennels.
It is quite far away from the city center, especially now with the new relocated center. But for that it was very calm (only dog yelling from time to time) and beautiful in the nature.

It's a beautifull spot to see the northernlight and ofcourse to be with the husky's and have a tour with them 😍
Most of the staff is really friendly and they tell you a lot about the husky's.
And the breakfast is simpel but good! they take allergies into account, if you indicate it in advance 😊
It was not so clean, a lot of dust everywhere and they should daily check about the bins. When i was coming in the bins were allready full, in the kitchen and the bathroom. Two days later i asked to empty them. And then finally they did it, but i'll think it's weird that i have to ask that. And about 2 days later, there were again full and nobody was going to empty them.
And if they want to go on for many years to come, then they should also look at the bathroom. There is poor ventilation in the bathroom, so that all the moisture lingers and mold has started to form.

The guy who prepared the breakfast on Thursday and Saturday was efficient and friendly. This was a passable place to stay to explore the region, we had a bed, access to a bathroom and a shared kitchen. We had a rental car, allowing us to visit the surrounding, therefore we did not have to spend much time at the husky lodge. We got to see fantastic polar lights.
Our room was clean but very basic without a single seat or table, not even a shelf to put our stuff. The bedding is lousy.
Most of the staff (when you see them) are not very friendly or helpful. The only exception was the guy who prepared the breakfast on Thursday and Saturday morning. He also was the only one to do something about the kitchen (emptied the bin, cleaned the sink etc and he set up a really nice table.
We knew it was a communal bathroom but it must be shared between 4 rooms, so about 10 people. Only one room with toilet, sink and shower. Anyway with such a musty smell in the bathroom you are not likely to stay long ! The trash bin was not emptied a single time during our 6 nights stay.
The shared kitchen has not been vacuum cleaned a single time during our 6 nights stay. In all hostel I have been so far, I always saw the kitchen closed to public 1-2 h/ day and fully cleaned by the staff. There seems to be no policy on the management of the fridge content, one can find 1/2 rotten food inside.
The breakfast is copious but of poor quality and is most of the time IKEA style, do it yourself. I have always had excellent breakfasts in Sweden, this one is below the country's standards.
Although their website states that it is possible to do laundry, they denied us the possibility to do it and were not interested in indicating a place in Kiruna to do it.
The location is not ideal. It is a bit far from the city center, but still too close to escape the light pollution.

Beautiful location! Very cozy and friendly staff!
The Organisation is terrible. No communication, you have to ask for everything. Plan ahead and be persistent.

We really liked the quiet breakfast also the scenery was amazing and we even saw the Northern Lights right above the Lodge. One day we took a walk through the snow and enjoyed the quitness and the nice atmosphere. We also did a Husky/snowmobile tour which we enjoyed a lot and the visit to the puppies was also amazing.
We stayed in the Lodge where all the people from the Tour also waited and used the bathroom, this was something we didn't like. In addition there was only one bathroom for the whole Lodge, so if you took a shower you always had to worry that someone is waiting to use it as well.

Very clean rooms and cozy main (shared) rooms. The dogs are friendly, relatively quiet and extremely intelligent. And the pups are just adorable, which i could even see from my room (not all rooms are like that).
The husky hotel is located a bit outside Kiruna. You can walk it but it takes 20-40 min depending on your starting point (20 min from train station, 40 min to city centre). But since i had no car and was looking to just relax after my hike it didn't bother me at all. You can always call a taxi to take you to the the centre.

This place was much better than expected. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the kitchen impeccable and full provided with anything one could need.
We had the chance to be with Joss while he fed and took care of the dogs and to learn from him so many interesting things, that was really a big plus, thank you very much, Joss.
I would have expected to listen the dogs barking during the night, but we didn’t.
Nothing, it was great.

Beautiful dogs and the unique atmosphere of huskies and the midnight sun, and the very friendly and informative host
The road from the train station is not paved so it was a rough walk with a wheeled suitcase- better arrange a taxi or transfer

We were so lucky to have Anka as our sleigh dog rider. He made our stay. the lodge was Very cosy and had a fully equipped kitchen. Nice log burner
We only saw one member of staff as everyone else seemed too busy. I had to ask several times if we could have a fire lit. In the end i did it myself. Again had to keep asking for the sauna to be turned on. The lodge is remote so make sure you take food with you or you will be paying 200 sek for a taxi to town. We would have been lost without Anka who even knew how to set my camera for taking pictures of the northern lights.

The activities were incredible (and of course the amazing huskies ) and really good value for money , staff were extremely friendly and the accommodation was lovely and cosy and beautifully decorated ! Yummy breakfast too !
Reception is not seperate from the accommodation lodge so guests who are not staying in the lodge and only there for a day activity share your living room and kitchen , it’s difficult to relax in your accommodation when day guests keep walking in and out .

Good location close to the city centre; you are surrounded by huskies all the time; bathroom with floor heating.
Even though we had announced our arrival time several days ahead and tried to call the staff several times once we were on the spot, we had to wait a bit more than one hour for check-in. The heating in the room was switched off when we entered; with -30°C outside, it took quite a while until the room got a bit warmer. All in all, we got the impression that nobody really had time to care about the accommodation, but only the sleddog activities. Hence, I would recommend the place for the sleddog activities, but not for staying overnight.

Staying surrounded by almost 100 huskies was a fantastic experience. The dogs are so lovely, and their howling didn't disturb us at all, in fact we miss hearing them now we are home.
The other guests were lovely, meeting them was one of the highlights of our trip.
No one was around to check us in when we arrived at 3pm, I had to go and look for someone.
We asked about booking tours before we arrived but were told on the 16th November that we could book when there. When there, we were told to email to book tours, but the ones we wanted to do were fully booked. Our disappointment didn't last long as we booked tours with other companies (one dog sled tour and one northern lights tour) and they were fantastic.
It felt as though the tour customers were much more of a priority than the guests. They even get to use the one toilet that guests use (we shared one bathroom between 4 rooms).
The lodge is about 20 minutes walk away from the train station, and 40 minutes walk from the town centre, where the supermarket is. We were tempted to get a taxi one day but there were no staff around to ask for help. The walk was OK but I wouldn't have walked to town on my own as we had to walk on the road / across a roundabout so it wasn't the easiest to do.

The huskies were super nice and cute. Nice wandering around the kennel.
The breakfast was ok.
There was only a WC for 4 rooms. The rooms could be maybe a little warmer.

Everything ran smoothly during our stay, very beautiful place with rural aesthetics. I particularly liked the fact the staff didnt keep an eye on us and we felt very comfortable to wander around without uneccessary questions. The breakfast was very nice and quite variant all in all. I loved hearing the gods voices!
The milk served in our breakfast was expired a few days and smell bad and ofc i didnt drink it.

The atmosphere, the house itself, a good place to chill.
The fact that they forgot to take care of my stay, I was alone the last night and no more toilet paper ( difficultly to reach the staff) and no breakfast buffet ready ... they just forgot that I was there I think.
And you’re in the middle of nowhere so if you come during winter you can’t really go by feet except if you have good shoes.

Breakfast was good.
The staff are not available most of the time and are not particularly friendly or helpful.
