This beautiful condo is in the perfect spot for watching wildlife, having close access to the beach, and a wonderful pool area. It is well-equipped and suited our every need. The host is exceptionally responsive and informative. This is one VRBO that I can't say enough good things about! If you're wavering, don't hesitate. A special thank you to our gracious host!

Everything about the condo is amazing. Our family had a wonderful time! The condo is very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. We enjoyed watching the manatees and dolphins everyday. We definitely recommend and look forward to booking again in the future.

Me and my family had a wonderful time! Everything was very clean and tidy, also amply amount of supplies for cooking, cleaning and beach gear. We even spotted dolphins and manatees several times during our stay! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Wonderful week spent here with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend. After a week in Orlando, this was a much needed change of pace.
I can’t speak highly enough about the quality of this condo. Stunning location, very comfortable and super convenient for the beach and many bars and restaurants.
Jean had thought of everything for any guests choosing to stay and her communication was excellent from day one right up until leaving. Would not hesitate in recommending and really hope we have the chance to return one day.

Our stay at this property was absolutely amazing!! The location was perfect with a beautiful view and just a short walk across the street to the beach. The condo was very clean with beautiful decor and had everything you would need! I was very amazed at how stocked the kitchen was for all our cooking needs. Plenty of towels and beach towels as well as lots of beach equipment! The owner was kind enough to give us tips on restaurants, grocery stores, and local attractions. Very much appreciated since we were new to the area. We are very much looking forward to coming back here!

Condo was great. Had everything on hand from laundry detergent/dryer sheets to cling wrap, lunch baggies, foil wrap. I honestly have nothing bad to say about our stay. The balcony views are spectacular. We saw dolphins every day. The dock is also nice to sit on and watch the boats go by. Covered parking is great to keep the car cool instead of being out in the sun. The pool is great (not huge) but was no issue. We basically had it to ourselves for the times we were there. Beach is easy to get to. Jean is great and communication is easy. Lots of beach stuff in condo to take from chairs, toys, umbrella, cooler, backpack. Can’t wait to go back to unit 105.

We absolutely were blown away by the find of this gem. Jean was so responsive and helpful when needed. Nothing beats waking up to that view and watching the birds and dolphins swimming right there. The accessibility to everything you need was perfect too!
The condo was well stocked with extras too (pool/beach toys, chairs…etc), which we appreciated since we had to travel light.
If I could give this more than 5 stars I absolutely would!!!

Great property with excellent views from the balcony. The property had everything you needed and the beach toys and beach seats were an excellent bonus.
All communication with the owner was smooth and response time was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend this condo to others.

Oh my goodness, what a perfect week we've had! Watching dolphins every morning from the balcony, fishing daily at the dock with lots of interesting catches, the short walk to the beach...we're already lookibg at our calendar to book again next year.
A few notes: the stairs...they are narrower than i imagined. This didnt negatively impact our stay, and check in instructions were completely transparent, however be prepared if you have a wide or laege suitcase.
If youve got smaller kids, a wagon or similar makes the short walk to the beach a lot easier. Other than that, literal everything and anything you may want is provided.
The property is wonderfully and mindfully stocked, with serious attention to detail.
This is the first time ive ever immediately wanted to rebook a property after checkout.

The condo was in great shape, was very clean and had everything we needed for a great family vacation. We saw multiple dolphins and manatees from the balcony. The kitchen was supplied with everything you need too! We will definitely be returning in the coming years!

This condo was amazing! It’s just like the pictures show and was very clean when we arrived! The neighborhood was quiet! The porch looking out on the waterway was the perfect way to enjoy our mornings and evenings! So relaxing! We saw dolphins, pelicans and even got to see some manatees from the dock! Our walk to the beach was super easy! We loved everything about our stay there!

Our experience was amazing. We can't wait to come back. Don't bring beach supplies, the owner has thought of everything. You'll see manatee, dolphins, sharks, birds and evan racions from the balcony. For this animal lover it checked all the boxes!

This property is great in many ways. Nice styling and furnishings that could easily accommodate a longer stay than our 5 nights. The primary bedroom has lots of space but if you have many items to hang in the closet you'll have to find space amongst a lot of gear and beach equipment that is provided for your use. The secondary bedroom was more than sufficient for two of our guests and does provide a bit more closet space if needed. The kitchen/dining/living room area is very open and comfortable for all and very tastefully decorated. And it's all very clean and well-kept. Jean, the owner, also has on hand nearly anything you'd need to enjoy the beach or fishing. We were able to put several things to use!
Jean is also readily available should any issues come up. We unfortunately had the water heater go out on us during our stay and she had it replaced and ready to go before we got back from our day's activities. Very guest-centric and greatly appreciated! She is a very engaged owner and truly cares about her guests and isn't just trying to make a buck.
The view and peacefulness of the balcony are indeed not oversold in the property description! One could spend hours out there! The only drawback for some guests might be getting large, heavy luggage up the three flights of somewhat narrow stairs to the unit. We managed just fine but be aware that this obstacle is ahead of you being able to open the door to your R&R and this magnificent property!

We stayed in Jean‘s condo for five nights at the end of May. The condo was exactly as presented in the pictures. It was very spacious to where we weren’t falling over each other and could retreat when we needed individual space. The location was absolutely perfect. Other reviews have mentioned the small pool. We did use the pool. The pool water was nice and warm and it was never crowded. Beach access was very walkable, my blind adult son had no issues with the condo or the area. I highly recommend Jean’s condo and would not even think twice about staying there again!

We loved this place. Pictures are very accurate. She has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of beach chairs, coolers etc. Very clean. The balcony out front was great for morning coffee, enjoyed watching the dolphins and boats go by. Jean was very easy to reach if you need anything. Hope to come back next year!

First time staying at Captains Cove and at this property. Our stay exceeded our expectations. The condo had a spectacular view of the inter coastal, the accommodations were comfortable, well equipped and appointed with comfortable furniture and beds, clean heated pool and walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The Owner was very accommodating and was available to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. We had a fantastic vacation.

The location is PRIME for adults who would like to get to the beach but not stay directly on it. Being across the street had its advantages as far as low noise levels from the street but close enough to make the 10-minute walk each day to the sand. The view of the intercoastal waterway was breathtaking, especially in the mornings. The owner has everything you need for the perfect beach vacation (towels, chairs, toys, etc). The unit is spacious and well-stocked with comfortable furniture and kitchen items. It's a small pool (not owner's fault!) with a few chairs if you prefer to be off the sand. We 'd love to say again asap!

We have been renting condos through VRBO for years and this one was the best by far ... quality furniture, complete kitchen, everything in excelent shape.
The A/C units outside are a little loud at night as the only negative thing we noticed.

Condo was clean and spacious. Centrally located near several beaches and has a nice balcony view of the intercoastal waterway where lots of marine wildlife can be seen. Jean was a great host and provided helpful, timely communication.

We had a very pleasant experience! This place was very spacious and had everything we needed. Loved view from balcony! We saw lots of different birds , manatees , dolphins . Short walk to the beach. The most beautiful and relaxing beach in this area. We definitely recommend this place .

The beautiful condo and clean perfect beach! The wildlife from the balcony was fantastic!!! My 11 year old grandson caught a very large catfish from the dock, he was so happy.

We travel 4 times per year. 2 weeks are usually spent at condos and 2 on cruises. We have never in all our travels ever rented a condo as good as Jean's. She's thought of everything & the pictures will serve you well prior to reserving this condo. Kudos to Jean; more owners should be like her and how she takes care to make sure your stay is clean and enjoyable!

very nice and spacious appartment. Convenient; all appliances you need are there, plenty of washpods supplied. Beachchairs, umbrellas, floating devices a.s.o. were provided. Internet access was very good. Nice view to the coastal waterway from balcony, walk to the beach only 300 meters. Shared pool is not very bog but most of the time it was a private pool. Some minor downsides: appt. wasn’t cleaned properly after leaving previous guests and outside airco units of the appartments were making a lot of noise. Particulary when sitting on the balcony. summarized; a very nice stay !

loved almost everything about it, the air conditioner kept going up to 80 at night and sometimes in the day. Someone was always parked in our extra parking spot. Other than those 2 things we had all we needed the place was great!

Bayside Beauty
Captains Cove was a hidden gem. It was my family's first time to stay there and we absolutely loved everything about it. As soon as we walked in we fell in love with it. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. Stocked with anything you would need to take to the beach. It was such a clam, quiet, and relaxing place to stay. I would highly recommend staying there. Jean was so quick to respond if we needed her for anything. Our family will definitely stay there again.

Everything we were hoping for!!!
Jean the host was amazing! The whole process she was informative and fast to answer any questions we had. The condo was huge, plenty of space for me and my daughter. The condo was decorated and laid out with great care and functionality. It was clear Jean cared about comfort and making a relaxing atmosphere for her guests. The view from the balcony was amazing, every morning we watched dolphins and we just missed a manatee swimming around the cove. Location was great, the beach was a very short walk and never busy. While swimming we were just feet from a manatee and could see dolphins out in the deeper waters. We did fish from the pier at the condo, we didn't have a lot of luck but there was plenty of fish jumping out of the water. Overall it was a relaxing fun vacation and would recommend this condo to anyone. Thanks again to Jean for making our vacation special!

Perfect!
We loved the location - such an short/easy walk to the beach., which wasn't busy and the water was warm and amazing. The view is incrediable . The condo is beautiful, clean and perfectly organized with everything we needed/wanted. We also enjoyed the pool. Would rent from the owner again without hesitation.

The condo was perfect and spacious!
We had such a great time. I grew up in Clearwater/Dunedin and brought my gf back for a visit as we live in Atlanta. The condo was perfect and really spacious for a 2/2. The view from the screened porch was so beautiful and a lot of wildlife to observe. You couldn't ask for a better spot to view the lunar eclipse! We frequented the different beaches in the area. Pretty easy access to all of them. No doubt, we rent this unit again.
