All was as expected for our stay. Host was very responsive and the check-in & check-out process was very clear. Also, a lot of parking space was available. Highly recommanded !

We were a party of 8 staying here for my sons rehearsal dinner at Dukes . Doesn’t get more convenient if you are hosting an even at Dukes! From the first communication to check out, it was great! The location is beautiful? Fun beach decor, spacious common area and well stocked kitchen. The deck is great for morning coffee or evening wine. Dolphins cruised by daily which is always fun to see . Could use an umbrella as there is no shade. Bedrooms are nice and all beds, including twins were extremely comfortable. Twin bedroom gets traffic noise from pch but not bad with fans on. Master bedroom is spacious and beautiful views of ocean and can listen to waves crashing in rocks. Makes for a great nights sleep. We had an issue with hot water on the first day. We contacted Jimmy and he immediately addressed the issue, had plumber out there and the problem was fixed!! I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it!

We rented this apartment because of its proximity to my daughter’s wedding. It was perfect for her and her bridesmaids. Jimmy was a wonderful host. We would love to come back!

We stayed here the weekend of our wedding (which was also at Duke's) and this was the perfect place! It's much larger than you think it is, it has a fully functional kitchen, and the bedrooms are amazing and comfortable. I was worried when I saw there wasn't AC, but you really don't need it when the windows are open. The hardest part about staying here was leaving to go home on Sunday morning and giving up the incredible view.

Could not have picked a better stay, it’s located in a prime spot and you even have your own private beach. It’s so spacious with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and plenty of living room space. Jimmy was so personable and easy to chat with and made the process even better. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Fun place, great views, so close to dinner!

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding with several family members. If anything, the pictures may not do it justice, because I would say the apartment is bigger than I thought it was. The views cannot be beat. It is also pretty cool to see dolphins and seals from the deck. There are binoculars to help you see them. I was a little concerned about the noise from PCH, but it was not an issue at all. The ocean provides the "white noise" to cancel that. Also, we received a voucher for the Duke's restaurant, along with a bottle of bubbly when we checked in. Very nice. We didn't cook while we were there, but the kitchen seemed to be pretty well stocked. My daughter, along with a number of other women in the wedding, plus my wife and her sister, all had their hair/makeup done on the day of the wedding. The size of the apartment was easily able to accommodate this. All in all, we had a great stay here, and can certainly recommend it highly.

Wonderful experience

Great place! Super spacious, very clean, comfy beds, patio right over the water, great views, and fit with all the amenities!! Although we didn’t cook much, it had everything we would have needed to do so! Dukes being right next door we took advantage of that convenience. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a great big place right over the water. Kitchen supplies are a little sparse but you will be next door to a very good restaurant and are unlikely to do a lot of cooking anyway. There is a meeting room downstairs which stayed busy but did not really affect anything. There is the potential for some traffic noise and noise from downstairs music, but neither bothered us in any way. Parking and check in process excellent. We were very happy with the place, thought it was a good value, and would stay there again. I give it 5 stars

Our stay was wonderful! The property is great and has all you need. The location is awesome and beautiful. Not only would I recommend, I’d stay here again.

My moms first trip to west coast from Michigan in 12 years with the help of my sister. All the west coast granddaughters joined us from San Diego to Seattle. Perfect location for great family bonding. Watched pod of dolphins, lots of starfish and sea anemones at low tide. Restaurant and service was amazing. Capped off the trip with my mom meeting her 2 great grandchildren. Could not have been more perfect!

The condo was huge and clean. The view of the ocean from the balcony and almost every room was spectacular and Duke's restaurant was fantastic and right next door. Jimmy was accommodating and so were all the staff at Duke's.

We had a great stay. Went to do some biz planning. Plenty of room for 5 adults, with space tonrelax and get work done. Mai Tai's at Dukes were delish, and it's right next door. We got groceries up the street and made a few meals on the property. They also accommodated an early arrival when I contacted them last minute. Would have been fine if we'd had to wait, but great that we did not. Beautiful views and great location.

We were in LA to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and this was the perfect spot. Jimmy made everything so easy and the proximity to Duke's was great for bringing food up to the apartment. Loved it!

We were in town for a wedding with a reception at Duke's. Renting this place turned out to be a genius move - I'd recommend it for anyone attending an event here. There's plenty of space and the apartment is well-kept, well-furnished and has a huge deck. The only heads up is three of the bedrooms are on the street side and you can hear the traffic. A light sleeper might want earplugs. Overall, we had a great experience and appreciated the excellent communication with the owner.

Epic water views, restaurant downstairs is delicious

We booked this property knowing our nephew would be having his grooms dinner at Duke’s restaurant located just below the rental unit. After our two night stay we realized that this was the perfect place to stay with our adult kids and their partners. For those contemplating whether to rent this place, definitely consider it if you want one of the most affordable and best sea views in Malibu. The sounds of the waves and the cool ocean breezes made it the perfect place to relax and recharge between wedding festivities. The cool evenings allowed for open windows and being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean waves. . We anticipated there might be some restaurant noise because the rental is located above Duke’s Malibu. In spite of that, we rarely heard any noise below and if there were people around , their voices were drowned out by the sounds of the waves pounding on the shore. Another amazing feature is the private beach located next to Dukes. Malibu doesn’t have many beach access points so this private spot was amazing! The condo is simply furnished and it has everything that you need including an amazing oceanfront balcony that we spent most of our time on and a gas fireplace for cool nights. I would highly recommend this place and plan to return the next time we are in Malibu!

Big ocean views and lots of room to spread out. Furniture and fixtures are a bit dated but mattresses were comfy and linens nice. We didn’t have any issue with the noise from Duke’s, but three of the four bedrooms face PCH, which is essentially a four lane highway that is busy all night long. You really have to keep the windows open to stay cool in the summer. So a few folks had a hard time sleeping. Bring good earplugs! We didn’t interact with Jimmy/-just a person who worked at the restaurant, who was lovely.

This is a fantastic property. Dream patio. House is spacious and well equipped. Nicest VRBO I have ever stayed in.

We were looking for a place to watch the ocean. Boy, did we win on this one. We saw a school of dolphins and seals (on separate days), a shark, a flock of pelicans, and a few seagulls. On the human watch: a surfer, a couple of jet skiers, a few swimmers, a sailboat, and several yachts, all within a 36 hour stay. Inside the place, the amenities were great. Bathrooms stocked with toiletries and towels, beds comfortable, and living spaces open with ocean view. The large dining table brought us all together for dinner and late night card games.

We stayed at this property for a weekend to attend a wedding close by. Couldn’t be happier with our stay. We fit 10 very comfortably. Property was cute and the team and staff at Dukes were great and extremely accommodating. There is a good amount of parking also - a rarity in Malibu. Great place and would stay again!

The Malibu house at Duke’s was perfect for our family of 5. It was so spacious. The views were amazing. The private beach area was so fun for our kids. The management staff were top notch! From pre arrival with Jimmy and Connor being some of the best guys to deal with to Kristen checking is in and showing us around the house.. these guys and gal know hospitality. Thank you! Cleanliness.. WOW! Great job to those who take care of that! We had an issue arise while we were away from the house that was an oversight on our part and Jimmy handled it gracefully and even apologized for an inconvenience that he didn’t even cause! :) We will definitely return!
