House was ok, not great. Parking was horrible. Had to take trash out from prior tenants which tells me what they did to actually clean the place. We aren’t overly picky, but whatever. Now’s where the problem comes in. Dryer doesn’t work. It is what it is I guess. Then in the middle of our stay, which I had to work during I will add, the host starts calling and texting non stop about a “w/d” that was supposedly getting delivered in 15-30 minutes. Apparently I didn’t respond fast enough to if we were home or not, to let him know if I would let some random people in otherwise he would from wherever in the country he was from (way out of state phone number) so he literally kept texting and calling. After all this harassment, and me telling him I was not comfortable with strangers being in there when we weren’t, but it was fine if he let them in. They never delivered it. Informed him the next day and he’s like oh yeah I tried calling them to see when they would come and they were supposed to be here 4 tenants ago. Last I checked no delivery company claims they are 15 minutes out and doesn’t show. I think he was just messing with us to make us think he isn’t a slum lord. Honestly if he hadn’t harassed me so much to respond to him I would have let everything go, but that’s the final straw for me. Stay at your own risk. Honestly we wish we would have just stayed at hotel instead.

This property worked out great! Everything was as listed, only issue to me is Andrew was somewhat rude and didn’t seem to believe me that the batteries were dead for the overall system and the thermostat. When you book and check out he’s very nice! When you bring up a small issue that’s when the response becomes a little unprofessional! Still a decent spot to stay. Just was very cold and if the batteries are dead how often do this place get checked on hmmm.. btw Andrew I know what a thermostat is lol you need to work on your communication skills and that will go a long way!

The quaint house offers stylish modern decor, is well stocked with necessities and good working updated appliances, was clean. The back parking area was convenient.

This property held no surprises. The description and pictures are 100% accurate. Check in was seamless. Everything we wanted to do was within a reasonable short drive. We had a great time and would book again for another KC trip!

I represent four adult women on a getaway for our book club. Are vacation was intended to include a little bit of shopping local eats and time together to relax. All of that was accomplished beyond our expectations. The location was perfect to explore local food and culture as well as unique shopping. We looked forward to coming back home in a comfortable place to just talk and enjoy each other's company. It is acquaint small home with lots of character. It has everything you need.

I loved the interior of the place very gorgeous and roomy, had a good tv system and amenities. There was only two major issues, it was SO cold in that house, we did everything to try and fix it the owner even brought batteries to help but still nothing. It was kept at 55 degrees pretty much since I got there from when we left in the morning. There wasn’t a friend of mine that wasn’t complaining. The thermostat was completely dead, so was the furnace and the batteries didn’t do anything. Even the fireplace didn’t work, we had to go out of our way to go get a portable heater and bring it to the place just to be able to sleep.

It was so clean and nice! Loved everything about it. Will use again when visiting the city!

Nothing fancy. Quant little place to stay while we wondered around KC.

The house was awesome, and we enjoyed our stay it was near restaurants, and close to the major highways to easily get downtown. The neighborhood was quiet. The host was excellent on communications and reached back out as soon as we texted for questions. Definitely would rent this place again if I needed to.

Nice place, however, they failed to include how many of the houses surrounding it were run down. There is an alley way to get to the rear for parking. They failed to mention the condition of the road. Numerous potholes, narrow, and overgrown with tree branches. We have a large SUV and we had a difficult time maneuvering into the driveway.

It was a very good stay for us. It was very nice to come back to house vs a hotel room. Gave us more space relax in. Also, start our days, too. Thanks for providing a relaxing and restful city cottage.

This place is close to downtown and close to the best barbecue joint "Slap bbq"

An awesome property for a very affordable price. It was really close to everywhere we wanted to go, and it was clean when we checked in. The pictures online matched up exactly with how it actually looked. In fact, it was more spacious than I expected. Other than the couch being uncomfortable, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this property. I highly recommend it.

This was the perfect location for easy access into the city. Parking was always available right out front of the house no matter what time we came back. We locked ourselves out of the house and Andrew responded with an easy solution within minutes of my contacting him.

Everything was great at this property. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but we had no issues. The homes are slowly being bought and renovated. We parked our suv in back parking pad and took Uber everywhere. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Perhaps more people will take the chance in this area and revitalize it.

We had an amazing time staying at this property. It was recently remodeled, clean, and close to so many of the attractions. Communication with Andrew, the owner, was always quick! If you are staying in Kansas City, this is a great property to rent! The neighborhood is being revitalized currently, which personally I love, but it does mean there are a few sketchy houses nearby. We stayed for 4 days and left the top off the jeep the whole time without any issue!

First the house is an older home but has been remodeled nicely and worked fine for our needs, except we brought our dog, the neighbors on both sides have outside dogs which made it a chore to say the least to take our dog outside... I would almost turn in the one neighbor as his dogs lived in a lean to overhang and a old yard barn, did not even have a proper house. I don't believe in outside dogs anyway. we could not park in front of the house due to a car parked there the whole time we were there, we used the ally behind the house which is quite tight for a full size truck to navigate... owner seems nice and house is a decent place. also the neighbor decided to break out a concrete porch and haul it off early saturday morning so we had nothing but dogs barking and noise early saturday... overall this is a good place if you do not bring a pet.

We travel a lot and usually stay in guest homes. This place was at the top of the list! Beautifully decorated, amazing amenities, quiet neighborhood and a short drive to everything we wanted to do in the area. It’s a winner!!

Nicely finished house, so much better than staying in a hotel. As promised, a quick and cheap ride to downtown. Slaps BBQ a few blocks away. Andrew was very responsive and patient with our questions. Great experience for our March Madness visit.

The house is absolutely cute and updated inside and out. The neighborhood was very old, but quiet all days and nights. We were 15 minutes or less from every place we needed to be: airport, Sprint Center, food etc. Would stay there again. Thank You.

This little house was adorable and we loved staying here. It's totally new and clean. The keyless entry for checkin was great. There was a nice comfy couch to lay on and watch movies. The beds were comfortable and we slept good. Shower was nice. Kitchen fully stocked with whatever you needed. Easy access to the City Market, downtown, the Plaza. Street parking was easy right out front. We didn't check out the places nearby like SplitLog coffee but looked neat. Overall we would totally stay again thanks!

Would recommend. We spent time at the Plaza, Power & Light, & Arrowhead & found this to be a great location & quite accommodating.

We absolutely loved this place! There wasn't much in the immediate area that we checked out, but you're less than 10 minutes from a lot of interesting neighborhoods and great places to eat.
