La colazione era ottima e la struttura situata in un posto tranquillo

Bij aankomst was het even schrikken: 'wegens een besloten feest (schoolreunie) vandaag gesloten' stond er op de deur. Gelukkig bleek de gereserveerde kamer gewoon beschikbaar. Sterker, een smakelijk avondmaal (voor mij en twee andere gasten) was geen enkele probleem!
Het hele hotel (inclusief kamer) zag er spik en span uit, alsof het pas gisteren was opgeleverd (terwijl de vele historische foto's in de gang toch op een rijke geschiedenis wezen)
Hele aardige gastheer en gastvrouw, die als ervaren fietsers ook goeie tips hadden voor de etappe van de volgende dag. Jammer dat ik hier maar één nacht was.

The bed. One half of the mattress had a plastic cover which rustled with any movement.

The place was spotless and comfortable, the area is nice and quiet and I had all the comfort I needed. Everything was perfect and I could get my work done with no problems.
Perhaps it would be better to go there for holidays, perhaps a weekend getaway for people who live nearby. It's in the middle of nowhere, which is impractical if you don't have a car (luckily I did). But I chose it because it was in the middle of 4 cities I had to travel to and for me it was great.

This family run hotel provided us twice last year (2022 Summer and Winter) with the best Service, Breakfast, Beds and Restaurant. We will go out of our way in the future to make sure we visit again.

Very friendly family run Gashof. We had a large modern room with tea and coffee making facilities. Secure store for cycles. We appreciated being loaned cycle maps of the area. The superb breakfast was well worth the extra cost. Good restaurant and pleasant small bar to drink the local beer.

The staff, the food (both breakfast and dinner), the service and the room spot on. A great atmosphere. Family run and shows that when owners care the quality follow. We will go out of our way to pass through again on next travel.

Helpful and welcoming staff who engaged in the spirit of using Google Translator App to help smooth out any breakdown in communications between my poor German and their English! Very accommodating letting me put my motorbike in a garage and thoughtful when it came to dinner as the owner had an unexpected bereavement which meant the main restaurant was full of her guests and friends. Instead, I was seated with just one other guest in the room used for breakfast, which was lovely and peaceful and since I am a solo traveller, suited me well. I was only passing through so did not get chance to check out the area for local attractions or places of interest.
