Beautiful location and prompt communication with property managers . However this home could use some major upkeep. Several water spots and mold on the vents. Stove does not work properly and the outdoor grills are unusable they are so dirty. While we made the best of it I certainly hope

Our stay was wonderful. Writeup and pictures were accurate. Sunrise views over ocean, close to restaurants and other things to do. Some furniture in living area was a little worn, bathrooms looked recently updated, comfortable beds.

I celebrating my 60th birthday at this gorgeous home with a group of amazing friends. We truly enjoyed our time here and the location of this house. The views from the balconies were amazing, and we easily walked to dinner one evening. We are already making plans to return here next year. Thank you!

We totally enjoyed our stay
But there. Were a few issues.the bathroom which was shared with two rooms.this was totally moldy shower curtain and the floor of the shower was moldy unexceptable.the place is tired could use a new paint job..kitchen sink facet needs to be fixed

Location and property were just right for our group of 10. Very convenient and quiet location. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. The sea turtle hatchlings were a bonus! Property owners are very easy to communicate with. Hated to have to pack up and head home. Thanks for a memorable 50th.

Better than imagined
This property was the perfect place to surprise my mother for her 85th birthday celebration. The pictures did not capture the level of tranquility and relaxation that the house afforded. We will return.

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful beach house. The views are absolutely amazing. House was clean, spacious, and our kids loved the bunkbeds. Great home for a large group. We would definitely stay here again.

Family getaway
Overall, the property is good with a very good location. We took our elderly parents with us and having the elevator was a nice benefit. The interior of the house is starting to look tired and needs some freshening up a bit. The arm chairs upstairs are dirty, lots of paint chipped, the pots and pans need to be replaced, and maintenance/replacement needed in the master bath with the double shower. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house, great location
Great house for our group of 7 adults. Clean and comfortable with great decks overlooking the beach. The elevator was wonderful for our older family members. Loved that the common living areas were on a different floor from the bedrooms so that people who got up early or stayed up late didn't need to worry about disturbing anyone. Great walkway to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful home, with absolutely wonderful amenities. Every person connected to this rental with whom we nteracted, was personable, professional, and very nice. It was a wonderful vacation for us all!

Great place for families
Our family had a great time, we had 3 generations staying together, we were so glad we rented the golf cart as it made it much easier to get around. The water pressure in the lower floor was not that great and the all the nozzles in the stream shower did not work that great, but those were minor items. The only thing i would caution about is that the kitchen is on the top floor and the elevator is a little slow so be prepared to use the 4 flight of steps, for the younger folks this is no problem but for anyone with arthritis or knee issue just be prepared. This was no issue of the condo but was a little taxing on this granny with RA.
It was nice being close to the boardwalk and marina so we could walk the little kids around to check things out. We also enjoyed being close to Wilmington for the rain days, where we went to an escape room and bowling. The 8-10 year olds really enjoyed trying to help parents and grandparent figure out the escape room!

Great Get Away
House was clean. Elevator was super helpful for unloading. Location is perfect. Easy walk to all activities, but far enough a way not to hear any noise. Pool looks fantastic, but it was too cold outside for us to enjoy. Owner and property manager great to deal with!

Perfect Getaway
Very clean and well-apportioned property! Ian and the team were great to work with. The location was outstanding and we enjoyed access to the beach from the back of the house as well as access to the inlet off the Intracoastal (only 1 block away) for morning kayaking!
If you're booking after peak season like we did, be sure to ask upfront about heating the pool to take the chill off : )
The view from the main gathering floor was awesome and our entire family enjoyed the week so much in this special place.
Having the elevator in this 4-story house made moving luggage and groceries a breeze as well as helping my wife's parents navigate the house easily.
The kitchen and eating area made meal prep and seating everyone a breeze. (Love that dining table!)

Perfect Beach House!
Perfect place to stay at the beach! Three families shared this house for the weekend. We all had plenty of space to spread out and plenty of shared space to hang out. Well stocked with all that we needed, even a pack n play for the little one. Elevator was nice for bringing all the stuff in but the steps were easy for going floor to floor. Loved all the porches and the easy walk to the beach. The AC worked great, the beds were comfy, refrigerator was plenty big enough for all our stuff. Lots of countertop space as well! Plenty of bathrooms (we have 5 teen daughters!) The view of the beach was amazing!! I would definitely stay here again.

Beach Wedding
We stayed at Sandy Dunes for our intimate beach wedding. There were 7 of us so we loved everyone having their privacy with their own bedroom and bath. The shower in the main master bedroom was amazing. The third floor living area was perfect and we enjoyed gathering there both in the indoor area and the deck with it's fabulous views. The stairs were a great workout , but the elevator was a blessing for luggage and for those that couldn't manage the steps. The private beach access was fantastic and made a lovely "aisle" for the bride. The beach itself was pristine. Jessica even arranged to have a "Congratulations" banner hung on the front of the house...nice touch. Clean and comfortable.

Beach House Sandy Dunes!
We had a fabulous stay! Everything was operational and adequately stocked! We went out to eat less thos year I think because we could enjoy ocean views from the spacious patios overlooking the ocean and because this was so much nicer then last years house!
We had 8 adults (4 couples) 2 toddlers and a 10 year old. We cooked on the provided grill a few nights as well. All appliances were like new from cooking to refrigerator to laundry.
We also enjoyed the golf cart for quick trips to the boardwalk. We had storage for our beach stuff and out door shower. We used the elevator for groceries and packing in and out which was a nice feature.
We never had to contact the owners because everything was great!

The only thing I might suggest is having two trash cans. We did use the recycling container as well and put recyclable materials into it which cut down on trash but we couldnt fit all our trash by the 6th day in just one container.

Great family vacation
We had a wonderful time during our stay at Sandy Dunes North in Carolina Beach. The house was beautifully decorated and well kept. The mattresses slept so well that my sister swore she was going to look at the brand so she could go and buy one for herself at home. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of living space in the upstairs living room and kitchen. More than enough space for two families and a set of grandparents. The beach is beautiful there and very easy to access with the walkway from the house to the beach. The elevator was a great feature and used frequently by my parents. We would definitely stay again.

Property has been improved greatly over the last several years. Have stayed at both Sandy Dunes North and South, and both sides are very nice for large family get togethers. Really enjoy location and owner is pleasure to work with. Already have reserved for our 5th stay there next year.

Another Great Vacation
Great location and access to the beach. Breathtaking view of the ocean. Ian is accommodating and is quick to respond, if needed. We have rented this house and South (that is connected) several times now and have not been disappointed. Easy walk to the boardwalk, , carnival, and shops.
